Question mi 11 lite 5g ne hardbrick - Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE

i try to flash new miui 14.0.4.0 EEA. after the reboot, my phone stopped showing signs of life, it is written in the device manager as "hs usb qdloader 9008 (COM6)".
miflash does not see it. I do not know what to do
PS: English is not my native language

Take it to the Xiaomi service because your phone is officially hard-bricked (EDL mode). In that mode, only Xiaomi authorised accounts can flash stuff to recover devices, no one else and most people who have that authorisation is mobile services - to be sure, go to the Xiaomi service and give to them to repair your device - and of course, you will lose your unlocked bootloader status and all of your data - this is a reason why people who don't know what they're doing they should not to unlock bootloader and root their devices.
Sorry dude, but no one can help you in this case - I had that problem too so I've been forced to get a new phone by Xiaomi service after the double hard-brick.
You can't flash anything so, you're currently stuck in this dead mode for users known us EDL (Qualcomm Emergency Download mode) mode

pm me i can recover it for you

MiFlash authentication/anti-rollback

Hi, I just received my Mi A2 Lite and I have some specific questions before I start trying risky stuff:
1- I read that to flash with MiFlash, I need an authorized account. Is this for specific situations or the MiFlash tool is completely unusable without autorization?
2- I also heard that some Xiaomi devices have anti-rollback protection that cannot be desactivated even with an unlocked bootloader. Is this also the case with our device or since it's with android one, the anti-rollback can be desactivated with unlocking the bootloader? So for example when the pie update is released, would it be possible to go back to Oreo?
3- Last and less important question: if I flash a treble ROM, will I brick my phone if I relock the bootloader?
Thank you in advance!
1. No. You can also use fastboot to flash.
2. As far as I know (and I may be wrong) - there is no rollback protection for Xiaomi Android One devices.
3. I haven't tried that - I assume you mean relocking the bootloader while the Treble ROM is installed? I'd assume you would be fine as you could just run fastboot to unlock again but you can try that out.
I used MiFlash with my A2 Lite to flash stock firmware and I don't have any Xiaomi account. I rollbacked from September (OTA) to July (FULL fastboot rom) and updated again to September via OTA without any problems.
Thank you for your answers
So I assume MiFlash always works for this device? It would be very usefull to have this extra option in case a hard brick happens and the fastboot is not accessible
Isn't MiFlash just a GUI for fastboot?

No, MiFlash controls the EDL. The EDL (Emergency Download Mode) is a Qualcomm feature that has a lower level and has more permissions and higher privileges. And if the device is hard bricked and can't boot on nor recovery Noé fastboot, there's a hardware way to boot into EDL (see here : https://www.google.dz/amp/s/www.magnetforensics.com/blog/qualcomm-phone-edl-mode/amp/ ). So that has nothing to do with fastboot and is more efficient in the case of a brick (as long as there's no problem with Xiaomi authentication
Edit : It also seems that the EDL isn't on the internal storage so even if we manage to completely mess up with the partitions, the EDL cannot be currupted (https://alephsecurity.com/2018/01/22/qualcomm-edl-1/)
Sorry for the double post

Hey guys,
Seems I'm not the only one that has bricked his device accidentally xD
In my case, I was flashing an update of xiaomi.eu when the installation failed. I tried rebooting to recovery in order to try again flashing, but I couldn't access my recovery again.
Since then, it boots directly to EDL, without the need to do testpoint.
If anyone wants to manually boot into EDL via testpoint, this video may help you:
(personally, I haven't opened my phone as I don't have the proper tools & experience for that. Even more, do NOT open your device. Otherwise, say "goodbye" to your warranty.)
I see no logo, I cannot reach fastboot nor nothing.
I have tried to flash using MiFlash, and it detects the device!
You have to download a fastboot package, not a recovery package (see mifirm.net).
I've tried with MIUI 12 (both Q and R) fastboot packages and I get weird Sahara errors.
With a MIUI 11 fastboot package, that error is gone. However, I cannot procceed to install as it's forbidden for common users like us to flash our phones in EDL mode. So it says to me that my Mi account is not authorized for this opperation.
My advice (it's what I'm going to do) is to contact to your seller, or directly to Xiaomi, and try to manage the warranty. If you were on MIUI (like me), we should be protected by the warranty. If not, you'll have to finance your reparation.
This turns me off intensely, as EDL should be totally free for us. In my old LG G4, I've flashed in EDL via QFIL many times, and it's not that risky as long as you have the proper files (which we have). In this way, Xiaomi is generating a bad fame & more work to their reparation centers, as we will have to send our hard-bricked phones there.
I've seen also some online services that either sells authorized Mi accounts for EDL, or that log in with a verified Mi account in your PC via TeamViewer to bypass that verification.
Sincerly, I'm not thinking in paying 30$ for something that should me free for us, so I cannot recommend this for now...
I will update my situation in future posts here. Until I get my K30 5G back with live, my development for this device will be stopped.
Good luck to everyone!

It will ve very interesting to know the outcome of your problem.
It could very possibly be a solution in case any more of us gets stuck in EDL.
¡Buena suerte!

Warranty doesn't protect me in Spain as this phone is only sold officially in China...
I could either contact my eBay seller or contact with someone of those authorized EDL accounts.
I finally had to contact a man with an authorized account, and pay my own reparation (25€).
Idk if it's allowed in xda to share the TG nickname of that man as it can be considered as "spam" of a service.
Talk me to TG if you wanna know more details.
But yes guys, we still have a solution to our bricked phones! Mine revived in 15 minutes

Mine is not bricked. I am glad to see that you found a solution for not much money.
We all know the risk we face when buying China only phones, but the price for the performance is always very tempting.

Sorry to say but thats a hard brick bro. Better take it to a miui service center.
Hold the volume down and power button for ~ 30 secs to see if you can get into fastboot mode.

so weird, it must be no problem when u flash back to stock rom, same rom as the first..
and when u buy the phone, bootloader still locked right.?
It asks for an EDL Authorization so that you can flash with locked bootloader.
just a heads up, don't search online for edl authorization account paid service cause its mostly scam.
the nearest service centers would be in the USA, but email here first [email protected]
to ask for the process

The mistake I see is, you flashed the official global rom with "clean and lock" that means after flashing it factory resets the phone and locks the bootloader. This is a major mistake. Because flashing aren't always successful.
Don't worry Xiaomi is very lenient with it. And the problem occurred on their software.
Next time if you're using mi flash tool, only select "clean all"(sorry I don't have the lastest mi flash tool on me and these are just the old files of my Mi A1. But I do have Poco F3)
edit: after flashing with "clean all" option only, you'll have an unlocked bootloader, and wanted to re-lock the bootloader, you just need to enter "fastboot oem lock" in cmd(in the fastboot+adb file)
for me I never relock my bootloader even if I'm on stock rom, I won't risk the chance that it might brick during OTA and have to send it to service center. Too much of a hassle.
Same.
I've had Mi Pad 4 for 3 years now and can't even count how many times I flashed it with Xiaomi.EU, back to stock and then Pixel Experience.
Never a problem simply because I never tried or had a need to relock the bootloader.
I don't know why so many people have been posting bricked devices in this forum lately, do people not know how to read.
Sorry for being blunt, but on a device worth $500 Canadian I would think people would take proper precaution and read on procedure
details before flashing any rom custom or stock.
I really do not understand too much why these issues occurs.
When you exec flash_all script, the bootloader relock is executed the last instruction of the process, and only if all the images flash ends successfull
Ended up paying $30 for a EDL account and he fixed my device.
Maybe some interested on know where you have buy the EDL account

Question Possible to flash any ROM to bricked and locked Mi11 Lite through fastboot ??

Hi everybody,
I recently tried to downgrade from 12.5.5.0 to 12.0.2.0 recovery version.
It was not a good idea since phone does not start any more and has a black screen no matter what I do.
But it can access fastboot mode...
My question:
Its locked unfortunately and I cannot access it anymore since it does not boot.
Is it possible to flash ANY Rom to it?
I tried it with several ROMs but Miflash tool always blocks the procedure since phone is locked...
Is there a ROM for the Mi 11 Lite 4G that is accepted by the MiFlash tool in locked state?

The problem is not the ROM version to be accepted but your device itself, due to the locked status it refuses to accept any partition to be flashed.
This same principle doesn't matter in EDL mode, but XM11 (and most of, if not all, Xiaomi devices) require of an authorized account for Mi Flash tool.
If you at least did bind your Mi account and started the process to unlock bootloader, then you still can do this.
Did you fixed the problem? If yes, how?

@SubwayChamp already mentioned how one'd go about it:
- If the phone was bound to the owner's Mi account, starting a bootloader unlock process and if it is able to go forward, it could then be restored to a working state.
- Perhaps... sideloading a full recovery ROM if access to the stock recovery and Mi Assistant were an option, although just like with EDL, I'm guessing some sort of authorization takes place (it used to several years ago).
- Take the phone to a service center and plead one's case, they could be willing to flash the device with an official build, although if it were me I'd require proof of ownership at least.
- Resort to a 3rd party service / app that deals in auth. EDL flashes for money.
That's about it, these days there's not even a point in opening a device to access the test points.

Question Help please!

Hi everyone!
I received my tablet with a Chinese version. I tried flashing a global version, but I didn't pay attention and ended up blocking the bootloader. Now it gets the message: "
MiUI version can't be installed on this device" and I can't unlock bootloader to go back to the Chinese rom. Does anyone know how I can proceed?
its bricked forever?
I think not but the only way to flash a rom with locked bootloader is to use edl mode.
