Question Oneplus 11 - call recording (not working) - OnePlus 11

Hi,
With my op9 I was able to record phone calls by using the google dialer in Beta version.
Just got my new op11 device, the call recording option is gone from the google dialer.
Any advice ?
(without root)
anyone here have call recording working? (i also tried o dialer - but it didn't record.)
BTW
i tried to open support ticket using my google one membership, they sent me to talk with oneplus support says its device issue not account issue.
oneplus support wrote me that it maybe carriers/countries limit, but it does make any sense....the same sim card on 2 devices give me different results, im waiting for oneplus response.

Which version of OP11?

yes. i have op9pro LE2123 on my desk.
i never flash it . (last time i flash my mobile phone was on the happy days of HTC...).
but you have to be on the beta version of google dialer to get the recording option.
(strange thing - after i took out the sim on the op9 . the option cant turn on, but still there)

Exactly I have OnePlus 7T EU ( non root ) and with jOneplus Tools there are just 2 clicks to enable native call recording which is great option. I tried to install extracted APK of jOneplus Tools but it does not install on OnePlus 11 EU ( OxygenOS 13 ).
Question is if there is any other option to enable this feature or services/dialer with that support are really removed from EU version this time? I've seen solution with installing ODialer (ColorOS) but this is not available in Google Play Store.
Maybe option with ADB?

From time immemorial, probably even Android 1.0 (hehe good, I joked a bit), he has been working and still works "CallRrecord" by SKVALEX.
In GooglePlay is available but it's a lite version, here his home page:
https://callRecorder.skvlex.com
Root is most often required for pure recording of both sides. But not always, sometimes it works after an ordinary API.
Perhaps in newer androids Google has drastically cut recording and it will be hard without root.
In any case, "CallRrecorder" is the first tool that he installed on each of his smartphone

I figured it out. Serach for ODialer in Play Store. It's Oppos dialer. First disable the default phone app. Then install ODialer and set default. Voila. Done. Quick and easy.

If playing the call is your only issue then I've got the solution for that too.
The new way to listen to call recordings is opening the call or contact in the dialer. So just make a test call and when you click on that call later you'll see recording option.
I'm sure it must save the calls somewhere as well I'll look for the location later.
for now just click on the " i " next to the call/contact just made and you'll see the recordings. There's a cassette icon.
I'm on OPO11, Non-root, India.

ooo. can you also try the apkmirror option cos it worked for other oneplus user on the community forums. Give it a try. I tried on Motorola stock OS and it failed but I'm sure it works on Oxygen/Color Os.

Anyone got ARCore working on this phone?

As we already know our phone doesn't support ARCore but there's a way to enable it on unsupported phones here: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/ar/
Even tho I did what it said there I couldn't get it to work and every time I open an AR App or I try to open the Playground the app crashes. Did anyone manage to get this work on our device? If yes how?
Might work on custom ROMs but I'm interested in the stock PIE ROM.
Thanks!
Have the same problem. Did everything they said on the site. AR+ option enabled on pokemon go, but whenever I tried to use it, the screen went dark and crashes.
Would be nice if someone says that is able to use arcore right now in this phone. I wonder if it got patched
I know you said that you're interested in stock ROM, but that's the thread that pops up when people google anything related to ARCore and Mi A2 Lite, so I'm here to let everybody know that I got ARCore working on this phone using custom ROM called Pixel Experience. Every AR app I tried works except for Playgound. You can find it here on xda-developers. I couldn't reproduce these effects on stock ROM.
arcore enabler on magisk and voilá! (i recommend use the 1.5v zip file, the 1.6v crashes safety net!)
It doesn't work. Every time i open Playground app or any other AR app it crashes.
I did everything - Magisk+ arcoreenabler(both version 1.5 and 1.6) and installing Arcore and Playground app.
I'm on Pie stock.
Any help?
+1
I'm also trying to get ARCore working on my A2 Lite but still nothing... I want to install the Measure app, which needs ARCore, but every time I try to open, it crashes. Has anyone found a solution?
For a while I was able to run ARcore following these institutions, but at the time my device was on Android 8 but now after I have upgraded to Android 9 it doesn't work at all.

Right now I'm using an GSI version of android 10 for our device and all AR apps including gcam playground are working fine(maybe a little bit laggy in playground camera, but maybe it depends on which version of gcam you are using) Maybe these days if i have some free time ,i'll reflash stock rom and look for a solution

Guys, I made it work at june 19. I forgot to share here. Everything relationed to ARcore was working, even playground. My response is in this thread for whoever got the same issue:

Hey there, I remember I had got ARCore working A2 Lite. After flashing the module through Magisk, you need to install the ARCore app from PlayStore from here : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.ar.core
It should work afterwards, but Pokemon might not work, as they check for rooted/unlocked devices to prevent cheating.

You just have to go to "magisk hide" inside magisk app and add pokemon go in there

Ok, I'll explain it to you very simple. Tell me if you don't understand me or if you want an explaination with detail.
(Continue at your own risk. I don't have any responsibility for bricked devices in case you don't know what you are doing!!!)
1: Downgrate your android device to the latest version of android oreo(8.1.0).
2: Root your android.
3: Install Magisk Manager.
4: Download and install the magisk module "ArCore/Playground Patcher".
5: Use a terminal emulator to enable camera2 api.
6: Install google camera port for mi a2 lite (or mi a2 if your device is a mi a2).
Done! Now you can play any ar game or install ArStickers for Google Camera(Ar Stickers is an older version of Playground for android 8)
Warning: Google Camera may crash when you are in Video mode or Photo mode but everything else works (including ArStickers)
Also let me know if it worked.

Google assistant "OK Google" resolved (need to be tested)

Hello everyone
I think I found a temporary solution for the "OK Google" feature issue in google assistant for Redmi note 8
I tested it in my phone and it's working and I'll be happy if you did the same test to tell me if it's working
what you need is a rooted phone and a file explorer that support root (or any method that will let you change a system file) , I did 2 changes is Build.prop that can be found in \system\ after reboot I went to activate the OK google option and it went enabled and working.
the changes I made were in the lines :
ro.product.model=
ro.product.brand=
in the 1st I put samsung and in the 2nd S10
I wonder if anyone can test and give me a feedback.
**I still have the MIUI Global 11.0.4 I didn't install the latest update yet**

If you are on stock Rom, there is a Magisk module in the telegram group which enable that option through the defaults MIUI apps for dialing/contacts.
Otherwise you may want to flash a regional Rom which support this feature out of the box, Indonesian Global is the one (code ID).
Hope this helps.

Yes magisk module require magisk to me installed, which means systemless root (it does not modify your system partition, just to boot one, easily reflashable).
Rooting requires recovery, recovery requires unlocked bootloader.
So unlocking bootloader (which can be relocked afterward) is the first thing to do since it require to wait for 2 weeks before it gets unlocked.
Besides that, yes you can stay on stock rom.
Hope this helps.
Can't be done without unlocking, rooting etc.

jOnePlus Tools works on the OP9Pro too! Just install a OOS 11 dialer found easily and you're good to go.
I tried the https://github.com/nipunnarang/oosnativecallrecordingenabler and does not work anymore (was fine on Opo7pro A11)
I had the same question and was able to set it up. See this thread.

Only difference between this iteration and the one from my OP7 Pro is the directory it saves the recordings to. Now they're saved here:

I don't know the version, but you can view the version after install in the app settings at the bottom of the screen. And no, it won't replace the google dialer unless you want it to. You'd change it to the default dialer app after install. It is indeed "revertible".

Combining joneplus with oneplus dialer, call recording really works, but in many cases it does not record. In these cases, it excels in the recording icon and does not record. Other times it records just fine. for what reason?

Can't get call recording working on the level I could rely on.
Oneplus native app does not work for me, even after using joneplus tools.
Call recorders from magisk work well, but after the phone restarts I have to open the app to be sure it will work. Sometimes it looks like not booting up with the phone.
Anyone found the solution? I am on eu version of the OnePlus 9 pro. Rooted.

Easy and without root:
run this adb instruction to enable call recorder:

2) if you reboot your phone you will need to run adb from step 1 again. To prevent this, install jOnePlus Tools from Play Store:

Does a logkit app exist for 9RT?
On 9RT OxygenOS 11 A.05, dialing *#800# result a Feedback app instead of logkit.
I tried latest logkit from following link, but first got "installing...", then got "App not installed".

No.
If 10 pro has the same issue, users from 10 pro will likely to solve it first. Then 9RT may borrow the solution.
I am very satisfied with the hardware and design of 9RT, but I REGRET to bought it due to lack of users (so few users of 9RT!) and solution dicussions.
I assume 10 pro has many more users than 9RT.

VoWIFI and VoLTE
Hey guys, I am on vodafone UK and do not have the options to enable volte or vowifi. All the guides talk about installing older logkit but it will not install due to a conflict. Tried factory reset and still the same. Anyone managed to get this...

by using a switcher, called network mode, if you select in prefered network nr lte gsm wcdma it will let you make calls...taking some time..in my case i found out that if i use just wcdma, it lets me make calls in a fast way and have internet, may be slower than 4g but it works, in my case i get roaming and h mode, probably my network provider is borrowing some signals, dont know, but it works, regards mate, please once you find a way to activate volte properly, let me know....
