About Team win recovery project
TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by roughly 4 people at this point. We also have a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers.
Team Win was originally formed to work on porting WiMAX to CM7 for the HTC EVO 4G. After our work on the EVO 4G we wanted to work on a project that would work on more devices than just the EVO 4G and we settled on working on a recovery. Today TWRP is the leading custom recovery for Android phones.
Installation procedure
• Make sure your phone bootloader is unlocked
• Connect your phone to computer
• Enable developer options by tapping build number 7 times
• Enable usb debugging
• Download adb platform tools ( don't use minimal adb )
• Open cmd or terminal & type adb devices
• Type adb reboot bootloader
• Type fastboot devices
• Type fastboot flash boot twrp-xyz.img
• Type fastboot reboot
• Flash twrp-installer-xyz.zip ( for permanent installation on custom rom )
Whats working?
• Magisk zip installation
• Rom zip installation
• Custom kernel zip installation
• GApps zip installation
• TWRP permanent zip installation
• Slot switch by itself while flashing Rom zip
• Manual slot switch support
• Back-up & restore
• Stock Full OTA zip installation support
• individual image flash support
• Decryption works on Android 8/9/10/11/12/12L/13

Hi!
I have Nokia 8 sirocco. According to your method and files I've successfully installed lineage os 18.1 and it was running fine without any errors. Then I installed lineage os 19.1 which you provided on the website but after installing that ROM, I'm getting video and audio lag everytime i play something which has video or audio in it. It is affecting everything like games, apps, streaming apps. I don't know why this problem is only in this ROM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know the fix for this. You're the only hope.
Thank you

Hi there and thank you for your impressive work!
I've tested this on my TA-1005. The TWRP Recovery works just fine, and I haven't faced any problems with it, yet.
But I have found two issues with LineageOS 19.1. One of them was the lagging issue in media playback and even in ringtone and notifications which was mentioned earlier by @Rms245. The other one is the Phone app which is used for making calls as it force stops after opening the app. Clearing storage and re-opening the app didn't solve the problem either.
I wish to see more projects and threads like this for N8S in the future and I'm eagerly waiting to test upcoming versions of LineageOS and TWRP on my phone. For now I might rollback to older versions of LineageOS until these problems are solved.
Regards.

Hi! Great work!
TWRP works great but Lineage 19.1 have lags in media playback. i have problems with 18.1 too.
Cpu is used 100% in idle idk why i tried reinstall but nothing changed. same on 17.1

Wow..... I tryied TWRP and it works great....
In addition to that, there is a Pixel build that wotks great... with no bugs and NOT laggy at all....
I love it

Totally down for this! I love sailfish OS, and thought I'd never see it for this device. I started work on this for the Nexus 6, but the phone croaked before I could finish. I will help to test, and even get source and help with compiling and stuff.....if you would like. I miss this OS!

Hi everyone,
This tread has been started for the development of Sailfish OS - Oneplus 2 port.
The port is based on CM 13.0 sources using Hybris
Current state: I successfully compiled the kernel for Sailfish OS, doing checks if everything is ok, more updates soon
Big credit to "mal" on sailfish irc channel who helped me greatly
I also want to credit everyone that contributed to the CM sources
kernel has been successfully built: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B34Kseus4HL2dkRoWDRGV1JnVEE/view

Do you have the ROM for OP2? Super Excited!
Working on it, having some issues with the HDAK and push all the code on GIT I'm glad that I see people willing to join the project.
Never heard of Sailfish OS. So a quick Google search was needed on my part. Looks like an interesting OS. Good luck!
The zip file is not for flashing, it's just for other devs to check if everything is compiled correctly
Good luck on this project.
Good luck on the project in waiting to flash it

Good Luck..
Can't wait for this..!
Will try the beta when it's out!
Seems i'm not the only one working on the port, NeKit from #sailfishos-porters managed to boot in the UI, still has some issues with the back facing camera, he will publish the repo's on github soon. in order to get this right will work on his sources to have full build as soon as possible.

Firstly Thanks for this lovely rom and my question is i am on 3.5.8 firmware do i need to downgrade firmware and later flash CM13 & Sailfish OS or directly i can flash CM13 & Sailfish OS?
If CM 13.0 boots on it there is no problem, i'm still working on fixing dialer issues, browser(blame jolla on this one), text messages. Sailfish indeed feels great on this device, so snappy. I am a one man army but git sources are up and it makes life easier for more devs to work on it as we have full boot into UI. I'm new to this OS so I work and learn as much as I can possibly can no eta for beta or stable release but i do ask if there any devs out here that want to join in the development would help a lot
Unfortunately (but not surprisingly), it does not boot on encrypted device.
Didn't test on encrypted device, and i don't think it will soon work, i'm curently trying to get phone, text and data working to use it as daily driver
unable to turn on data. it always disable and also wifi
I remember my old days whn i ported some roms and same problem occured ... Solved that time by decompiling base and port rom telephony .jar n replacing ril.smallies nd somelines in build prop to hack phn massages data!?
not working on multi rom.

GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your ENTER-PHONE-NAME, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
1) Toogle to disable hardware button doesnt work.
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!

Hello why haven't you made a new compilation? This ROM is more fluid than LOS18.1, since the kernel has version 8.3 of linaro.
Can you please update the kernel version of linaro from LOS 18.1?

Great work, now we have fast R ROM! (but not as fast as Enchanted LOS 17.1)
Wow, thank you so much!! The performance and battery backup is very decent. No major issues except 2 things things,
1. Double tap to wake up missing.
2. Camera flash does not work. (however this can be resolved by using Footej camera 2)
You are best @xNombre . Nice work.
Hello,
I've just pushed a new update. It's stable release!
I'm actually surprised by how smooth gemini came out to be on a11.
Camera led is broken and probably will be, I cannot do much about it. You can always use custom camera app.

Thanks for your support on gemini. Everything works fine and smooth for now.
Just a small bug i found is disabling hardware buttons doesn't disables home button key.
On the latest version after turning on device encryption functionality and setting up boot password on, it stucks on infinite booting animation and never boots up again.

Tell me solution
Hi!
I've been using your crdroid 6 for almost a year and I love it, thank you so much for your support on gemini.
I wanted to try this version but i can't find gapps for android 11 on the link you provided. Should I use NikGApps or it would be better to download the test version of opengapps for android 11? Would it add stability problems?
Thanks again and happy holidays to everyone!

its a global android thing since a few days ago, TLR, dont root anymore
Magisk is dropping support for hiding root access from apps
Magisk, the popular Android rooting tool, will continue to be developed by topjohnwu, but without its root hiding feature called MagiskHide.

RELEASED UPDATE v3.2.1
a12 has been released for komodo 4.1
About to give this one a god for Redmi 8 olive. Anyone care to share the experience with this ROM? Thanks!
there arent many active users on the forums for our phones. youd have better luck trying to get info from a tg group
from what ive heard about it, as long as you dont need v(i|o)lte stuff, there were no complaints about komodo a12
except the usual v(i|o)lte and wifi qr code not working on a12
