weird problems - Moto G5S Questions & Answers

ok, I don't know what I can do now...
A friend Gave me his hold g5s because of battery damage. I should see if I can do something with it. because I have no use for it I gave it back, now I have the phone again with a new problem.
boot loop
OEM Locked
literally no OS, firmware, or something...
I tried the "rescue and smart assistant" App for windows
by rescuing: "your device version is the last version..."
still Boot loop
with RSD Lite: device Properties = n/a
tried to unlock with bootloader ID (fastboot oem unlock code)
all this with Tools mode config enabled and disabled
the issue is now 2 1/2 years the same and now I'm literally at the end of my knowledge
I hope you can help me
we don't care if it has after all stock or custom firmware. it only needs to walk again

Unable to flash device using FlashTool for Mac OS X

Hello,
I am attempting to flash my Sony Xperia M phone, to downgrade it from 4.3 to 4.1 (in order to install a custom ROM).
I have downloaded two versions of the 4.1 OS, but neither appear to work.
The problem is, the progress bar indicating how far along the Flashing process is, is stuck at one point forever.
As I understand, it should take only a matter of minutes, but I've left it going for hours at a time, but it never completes.
There seems to be something wrong with the software, or the OS I've downloaded, or the phone itself. I have no idea.
If you are able to suggest ways around this problem, that would be appreciated.
Here's a screenshot and a WebM of the Flashing process.

Cannot unlock bootloader

Hello,
I followed the steps given in this thread to unlock the bootloader of my Redmi Note 5 Pro, but I have not been able to do so. I have had this device for over a year and used the same Mi Account on it for a long time.
Things I have tried:
1. Waited for 360 Hours (MiUnlock v3.3.525.23 gave me 360 Hour message when I first tried to unlock).
2. Flashed latest developer ROM.
3. Used various MiUnlock versions (v3.3.525.23, v3.3.827.31, v3.3.1212.33).
Here are the error messages that I get now:
{

"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The tool is buggy as hell, half the time it fails at 50% (Verifying device), the other times at 99%. Any way I could make this work?
Thanks

Turns out the MiUnlock tool does not play well with AMD Ryzen processor based systems. Tried to unlock on an Intel system and was successful in the first attempt.
Pretty frustrating to say the least. :/

Not sure if this is related, but there appears to be problems with Windows 10 version 2004, which causes the fastboot driver not to properly work. If you have an older build of Windows 10, give that a try.

My friends Note10 + soft bricked after an update and have no idea

Basically shows an error message which I looked up and the only place I've seen anything about it is on the subreddit called Intune which is a Microsoft developer tool for Android I think. Never seen this on any phone before and it's crazy I can't find anything about it.
Any help would be extremely appreciated.

The error message reads:
" Error
This phone can't be enrolled using a legacy Device Admin profile, which is supported only on devices running Android 10 or below. To continue enrollment, use an Android Enterprise profile, such as a Device Owner profile."
You can use unbrick tool on PC.
All problems with software can always be fixed.
Whats the name of the tool? You think that will fix it? Much appreciated.

Question Nokia G50-5G (TA-1361) Stuck on Fastboot mode.

Hi, I've a Nokia G50-5G stuck on fastboot mode.
I've tried every possible trick I know of. It looks like a software issue. Is there another way to flash it other than HMD device kit.?

Don't downgrade or use any other software apart from HMD Device Kit or it will softbrick. How did it stuck in this mode?
