Question Rollback to OOS13, need help please - OnePlus 9 Pro

Hey guys, sadly I have to come back to OOS as there is no human way to get bank apps running - when I unroot phone it works so somehow the apps are detecting magisk even with all the tweaks applied...
Actually I'm on android 13 with cr-droid custom rom, so which is the way to rollback to original rom?
thanks in advance

Yes there is many ways. Look bank apps source in java and see if it scan for root and patch it.

you have to unlock bootloader and install twrp recovery before install 3rd party rom, go Google for tutorial. btw, this rom is not suitable for new flasher.

cool, then you can format data, clear system/data/cache/internal storage, after that install base band (the one with 5.15) then install rom, then install open gapps if you want, reboot, enjoy
Returns on this Rom? Bluetooth? GPS? Android Oreo? NFC?

I haven't tested IR blaster so far, but the only big that I found so far is the camera launching, it's so slow, the strange thing is that in the previous UNOFFICIAL build it was launching well, I hope he will fix it in the next build.

from what I remember from another ROM is that this slow camera launch seems to fix itself after a few reboots (Lineageos 15.1 seemed to suffer from this too)
so, is bluetooth audio working? and what about widevine drm? haven't found any z17 oreo rom that has widevine support yet...

not this one, I have rebooted for so many times but lagging still remain, did not act like 15.1.
Bluetooth is searchable and should be pairabled. never tried yet since I don't have a good headset.

It seems that I solved it, I've just copied vendor/lib/mediadrm/libwvdrmengine.so from other Oreo ROM and now it looks like this. I've attached a little flashable .zip with the patch, I hope it could help.

Ok, I tried installing everything in one go adding each zip after the other in twrp... apparently, this doesn't work... Device just turns off again after Nubia logo (yes I did the normal wipe)
I did select to prevent to overwrite TWRP
update: apparently you need to boot the device between installing Rom (and open Gapps) and installing Magisk... installing magisk 16.4 apparently needs to be done later... I'll report back when I'm done

Zenfone 5 ZE620KL Project Treble GSI Test

After days of deciding..
Yes!! i have risked my device warranty for the sake of fun and excitement. HAHA LOL
For those who asked if we can flash Treble GSI (Generic System Image) on our device. The answer is Yes, FOR ME AT LEAST!
No complicated steps or whatsoever.
I just followed the steps from this link and downloaded the GSI of my choice. CREDITS TO ALL THE DEVELOPERS WHO WORKED FOR THIS PROJECT.
https://www.xda-developers.com/flash-generic-system-image-project-treble-device/
TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! I will not be held accountable to whatever happens to your device. This post is just to prove that indeed our device is treble enabled.
Some important things to note:
- You have backup of your data
- You have a working ADB
- There might be functionalities that is not working at the moment (Read the changelogs of your GSI choice before downloading)
- The notch looks bad on these builds (Android P might be able to fix this when it arrives)
- Your device should be in stock ROM (no heavy modifications such as xposed , magisk etc..) ROOT Not needed
- You should put your device on factory reset before trying this.
I have attached some screenshots of my test.

Excellent job. Thank you. I understand the camera is basic, but how is image quality? Looking forward to Google Camera port tests. And perhaps the ZE620KL fully ported so can make use of the landscape camera. Not a huge deal, but would be nice, no?
As visible on screenshot, Asus Camera is properly visible in the launcher (because of being put to vendor by Asus), but does it run well?

What has this rom added/changed compared with stock EMUI?
Hi zgomot,
I came back to stock...
I installed successfully but I encountered some serious lags, maybe because I don't know how to use the tweaks (K-Settings), I've changed my notifications bar and activated the call recorder, nothing more.
The phone slowed down and take 5-8 seconds to launch the camera or settings. Maybe I haven't made a clean install but for the moment I came back to stock.
My opinion

I installed this Rom yesterday and i love it
two big advantages are of course xPosed and SuperUser,
and of course there are the kSetting but i nearly don't use them.
And with the root you can uninstall all the unnecessary app from Huawei :good:
I tried out nearly all Treble GSI's but none of them was working without reboot issues (When they were rooted)

Use the TWRP-All-In-One tool to install TWRP then flash the appropriate ROM, correct?
When I am inside TWRP I can't find the .rar file at all, just a bunch of random maps with random names/numbers, did I do something wrong?

[UNITY] Various Fixes for the Moto G5/G5S [9+]

HUGE thanks to @giri45 for actually providing the fix!
What's this?
A Unity installer ensures that you can use this module with any kind of root solution (as long as it supports init.d)! If you have Magisk, flash the module through the Magisk Manager, but if you don't have Magisk, just flash the module through TWRP. When you want to uninstall the module, flash it again in Magisk Manager or TWRP.
As for the module itself, it provides a fix for LiveDisplay/Night Light on the Moto G5/G5S for anyone running an AOSP-based ROM running Android 9 or higher, and enables Camera2 API + EIS if you wish so.
Do NOT attempt to install this on other devices, or ROMs based on Android <9! Device and Android version checks have been applied to make sure this module will not install on incompatible devices. This module assumes that you are using the latest stock Oreo firmware (including bootloader, GPT and etc.)! Do not report issues if you are not on the latest firmware.
Tested ROMs:
Havoc OS 2.2
Pixel Experience 9.0
AOSPExtended 6.3
crDroid 5.0
Known issues:
Fix doesn't work on Nougat firmware. You must have fully flashed the stock ROM/flashed it via OTA, for this fix to work.
Downloads:
Download from Magisk Repo.
Flash via Magisk Manager or TWRP. Make sure you have a root solution which supports init.d!
Thanx for trying to fix this. Unfortunately it's not working on my xt1794 running AospExtented. First try flashing through twrp failed, the updaterscript didn't recognize my phone (correctly), then installing as magisk module, but no night light..

That's really weird. Installs fine and works on PE, installs fine but doesn't work on ViperOS, and now doesn't work on AOSPExtended.
Could you try providing installation logs located in the Internal storage?
Have you also tried manually replacing the files? If that works, then it's not a problem with the ROM...

Hi
i just updated my OP9 Pro to the OX12
after succesfull upgrade my carrier isnt working
what can i do ???

It fixed the carrier no signal in my case.
Oxygen 12 stable? The one with problems? Or the new one with all the fix's.
Use downgrade rom to go to Android 11. Then update to 12. To a good 12.

I don't update my OS if it's running fast, stable and fulfilling its mission. My current OS load on my Note10+/Pie is over 1.5 yo and it runs great.

True.
The end results are all that matter though.
I've never had to do a forced factory reset due to malware. Both times it was downloads; a malware jpeg (my bad) and a trojan preloader (deleted before it could get its payload) that was able to slip by the browser.
The jpeg damaged some files in the download folder. Deleted the jpeg successfully. Both were close to 2 years ago.
Samsung apps updating have literally cost me more time and trouble then malware
