The best ultimate super oober battery trick to make phone last 6 days

I have a question. My battery gets to 4200mV around 80% which means its fully charged.it continues to slowly climb to 100% after that even though it hit a full charge long before it says 100%. I tried battery calibrator but it doesn't seem to help. what should I do?
Use wifiwhen possible. Turn off all unused radios (GPS,wimax, data, wifi)
Also don't run Max brightness when screens on.

If you want a phone to last you six days, u better get a flip phone.
Unless you airplane mode the phone and never use it you will not get more than two days max, which is pointless since its not really a phone in that situation.

I think full charge is based off the mAh not mV.

I dont know how the circuit in the phone works, but when I charge up my lithium batteries for my RC car, while its charging the circuit shows a higher voltage than the battery will actually be at when its pulled from the charger. I also dont know what tells the charger it is full(or getting full) but the charger starts charging at a lower amperage the closer to full the battery becomes.

Yes, your chaging with amps, not volts really.

For the people telling me how to get better battery life there's not what I even asked about in the OP. The guys that said its not the mV and its the mAh that does make good sense. Is there a app or widget to watch it in real time? I have better battery by curve fish that shows mV not mAh. Thanks for the feed back guys!

Thank you so much. I will try them both!
Edit-I installed better battery widget.only problem I'm having is it shows me running an 1500mAh battery. I sent the dev a email which they say to do if its showing an incorrect value. So this should be fixed to. It works great thanks again so much. I now know one more thing about my phone that I didn't before
IIRC The SAMOLED+ pixels are off when displaying black. Google pure black and set it as you wallpaper. That should help.

Also depending on how aggressive your overclock is since it will raise voltages depending on frequencies. Also syncing data is a huge battery drainer. If you kill auto sync and only do manual syncs, it will feel like night and day.

[Q] Li-poly Batteries Questions

Hey everyone,
I received my Xperia Arc S 3 days ago. Well, since it's my first smartphone and I was not used to it I first used all the battery and then I gave it 12hours of charging.
Well it seems I did it wrong since Li-Poly batteries shouldn't be charged on that way. So, here are my questions.
1. The fact of letting my phone completely discharge and then give it 12 hours charge was a BIG MISTAKE?
2. How can I correctly charge my device?
Thank you all.
Why it should be a big mistake?
I've done the same:
buying
completely discharged
charged for many hours
I haven't any battery drain or something and I also heard you should do that (correct me if I'm wrong).
Hey pal,
Well I thought it would be the right procedure as well but it seems that with Li-Poly batteries we shouldn't let them completely discharge as it may affect its life. However, I am not sure and I still don't know if it's the truth! Let's wait for some more feedback and see what's coming.
Plus, how long does your battery stand?
Note: In addition, thank you for your response

If I'm correct previous batteries had 5% circles and current batteries have about 20% (as a full charge).

Ok buddy,
Thank you for that!
Well, plus, can I remove the device after 3 / 4 hours (as long as it says 100%) of charging and normally use it with only that time of charging? What about the opposite? Let it charge all night long while I sleep? No problem with both methods?

No problem with both.
Usually I'm charging over night too.
But if I remember right a complete charge only needs about 2 hours.

Well, my one is charging for 2 hours now and it says its battery is 88% charged!
I have to leave in 1:30 hours and I guess It'll be fully charged then. Hopefully I won't have to charge it again during the night
You can plug it in as long as you want, nothing will happen exept the battery gets charged.
Sometimes I plug it in 5 mins before going out and my battery is ok.

How to calibirate battery on miracle v4

Hi can anybody help on calibirating battery on miracle v4 rom
no....nothing can be done
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
Do bump charging instead of battery calibration. Search it on google.
-Charge your phone to 100%
-Use this battery Calibration app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=de
This app needs root
-Then let your phone discharge until it turns off itself
Notice: in this time you're not allowed to plug the phone to the pc or to the charger again until it turns off
-after it turns off plug the phone to the charger and let it charge without breaks to 100%
-Done
I recall that battery calibration was bogus, there was a post which explained why it was bogus in detail. In other words, don't bother, but charge your battery around 50% if you want a healthy battery.

http://bit.ly/KZdfJJ - Why cant you just google it like he said?
also you can go to recovery and select wipe batterystats.bin
Calibrating your battery does not give you extra battery life, just improves the battery level indicator. Android calibrates battery itself anyway (when battery info change to a few seconds)
batter calibration is of no use i have tested it many times on many roms. our ace has not a good battery. so follow common steps like brightness to 0, application background off etc etc.

thnx will do as u suggested
There is a way to get good battery life in miracle v4 but it took me about 5 days now I get 16 hours off battery with heavy use and about 22 hours for normal use
How I did this
1.let your battery totally die
2.leave your phone off and give full charge
3.still with your charger pluged in boot to cwm recovery
4.now select advanced then wipe battery status
5.now still with with charger pluged in reboot you phone
6.when your phone is fully booted remove charger(you will notice the battery will drop to about 86% in about 10 mins the first time but will get better each time you repeat all these step)
NOTE:I have done this on my wife's s.g.ace with rom miracle v4
And on my Sony Ericsson x8 with many different Rom's
And on my friends Sony Ericsson x10i with many different rom's
YOU MUST USE MAINS CHARGER NOT USB FROM P.C OR LAPTOP AS USB WILL ONLY TRICKLE CHARGE.
If this helped hit the thanks button

And samsung say no update to ics but there are working ics Rom for ace so are Samsung thick or are the devs here from menca ie. People with a IQ of 200+ also was it not google that said android would be lag free from 2.2+ and if that's the case what is the point in developing faster rom's of which all rom's here
Are faster then stock thanks to all the developers that work hard to make the android experience much better

according to the miracle v4 developers the battery indicator doesn't indicate about the battery properly ...will charge now to the max even after 100 % and will let you know what happens
I know battery calibration is useless, but how can ace have better accurate reading. And my problem is that whenever my phone deep sleep for a while and i start to use, the battery decrease rapidly after screen in for a while. Its like the battery is leaking even in deep sleep. Is this a common problem for ace user?

Calibration does not improve or increase battery life. It would just help in getting a more accurate battery level reading. Or so i read somewhere.

No more battery memory right now .
Of coz you can use your phone battery to under 20% then charge it back to 100%
But it's not easy @ note2.
Everyday I have around 30-40% battery leave when I charging.

That has nothing to do with the battery and everything to do with being careless when plugging or unplugging.
OP, you may want to google or wiki the latest battery technology. Those 'tips' (b) and (c) you mentioned were good for NiMH batteries. Nowadays, we use Li ion or Li polymer batteries which do not need to be fully charged and discharged to maintain longevity.
Sent from my GT-N7100
Two things are important for prolonging your battery (lithium based) life: charging level and depth of discharge. avoid charging to 100% as much as you can, and also avoid wide discharging range.
A good strategy is to charge what you use, that is, if you use only 50% of the capacity every day, then only charge to 80% and use it down to 30%, then recharge.
http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/how_to_prolong_lithium_based_batteries
Ive never heard 'avoid charging to 100%' .

It isn't. It's just more FUD about batteries... *sigh*
Listen people. It's -really- very simple. There are no tricks involved. Just drain your battery how you like and charge it how you like. These phones are designed for average people in mind. People who don't have a CLUE about having special discharge/recharge routines. They're designed to be charged whenever the user wants to charge, to 100% or not, as the user likes. The hardware within the charging circuit and battery itself will protect it from harm.

Hello..
It's a 5v/2a.. and there is nothing that is going to change that.
If you stick with the charger that came with the device, you should have no issues simply charging it whenever you slumber.
It will not "Overcharge" and shorten the life of your battery.
The biggest mistake users make is trying to force a higher V/A charger down their deivices throat..
If you employ some of the features available to you via Power Saving options.. unless you are a Heavy gamer / movie watcher, you should be making it through a day... I'm averaging 7 SOT in 16 h powered up.. I'm @ 3h 41m SOT and 68% battery for example right now..
