Question Youtube Revanced install for CPH2451 *root required* - OnePlus 11

---> YOUTUBE REVANCED <---
---> APK MIRROR <---
This is all you need to install Revanced on your rooted device. Download the latest version of Revanced Manager and install. Once you install Revanced Manager open it and Grant SU permission, then click on patch and then select your app. (You will need to do this for both YouTube and YouTube music) There you will find the recommended app version. Use APKMirror to find the correct version number of your apks and download them to your device.
You will need to now uninstall the updates for YouTube and YouTube music to install the downloaded versions. Press and hold on the app icons and open app, top right hand corner you will see the three dots, click that and uninstall updates. Now you will install the versions you just downloaded to begin the patch.
Once again open Revanced Manager and click patch and then select your YouTube or YouTube music app. Now you will see a list of patches you can go through, select the ones that you want or press recommended. Make sure you include MicroG support. Now that you have selected the patches that you want go ahead and click patch and let it finish. Once it has finished patching your app you're going to click install.
Now you can delete the shortcut of the original app in your app drawer and disable the original version of whichever app you patched. To disable the app you do the same thing press and hold, open app info and you will see a button to disable. YouTube music does not have a disabled button (at least not on my phone) so you can just uninstall the app completely. You don't have to but this is so you don't get them mixed up or so the operating system doesn't default open the YouTube app with a web link.
I can verify this does work on the OnePlus 11 A.07 firmware.
☺ Enjoy ad free YouTube, if you chose to block ads that is.

Is this installing the rooted way? I think that when it's rooted it will just replace the current app completely... Do you have microg? If not then i guess it's root idk lol

1. No need to select MicroG.
2. Install as root after patch.
3. Install a min-detach module to detach YouTube, YouTube Music and any other patched app from Play Store. This disables auto updates.

[APP][CM9][AOKP]Google Now for ARM7 Devices[UPDATED]

Requirements:
Follow the simple instructions here.
You MUST be rooted
You should be running a custom recovery like ClockWorkMod Recovery (CWM) or Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP). I use CWM, so this guide is based on that.
Your device must be using ARMv7 CPU architecture. If you aren't sure what that is, check this thread.
You must have a file explorer that has root permissions. I use ES File Explorer, so this guide is based on that.
You need at least 60MB of system space for the full offline installation. (30MB for online only version) If you don't know how to check, simply download Titanium Backup from the market. It tells you right on the main screen.
If you are not a noob and know what to do already, please skip this. The permissions are listed at the bottom for easy reference, should you need them.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Download whichever zip you want. If you need to save /system space, download the the smaller, online-only package, otherwise get the normal one for the full experience. There is also a version of each which removes the "double-take" condition of the app. This is where it loads the results twice. The one that loads the results twice formats search results properly on the first try, but does not auto launch some cards. The non-double-take version may not format some search results properly, but auto launches tasks such as navigation and texting. Choose whichever one you prefer. If you have questions, please don't quote this entire post. Simply edit out the part you have a question about.
Update: Each version listed has the full version and the Offline only version. Pick the one you want and flash it. If you aren't sure which one to use, or if this is too much information or is otherwise overwhelming for you, just flash the M7 version - Offline/Online, since it's the latest. Be sure to scroll down a bit and read about it, though.
Before doing anything, you need to make sure you have at least 60MB of free space on your /system partition for Offline/Online files and 30MB of free /system space for Online Only files.
Flashable ZIPs
[*]M7 - mikeyxda's version 7. This version improves on M6 by tweaking notifications to be more accurate and frequent. This version may use more battery. If you are using a Sense ROM, see the troubleshooting below for a hack to improve Google Now performance and battery efficiency.
Online/Offline via Mediafire - 36.48MB /Hotfile mirror
Online Only via Mediafire - 14.06MB /Hotfile mirror
M7 Update - 3.97MB /Hotfile mirror
M7-Velvet.apk Only
[*]Inverted M7 - This is identical to the M7 files from above, except the colors are inverted, so that it has a black background instead of white, and white text instead of black. If you already have Google Now flashed, you can simply perform the update to this version.
Online/Offline via Mediafire - 36.81MB /Hotfile mirror
Online Only via Mediafire - 14.04MB /Hotfile mirror
Inverted M7 Update - 4.30MB /Hotfile mirror
M7inverted-Velvet.apk Only
[*]M6 - Mikeyxda's version 6. This version has improved on the previous one by fixing the double take problem, typed searches are working, auto launch is fixed, as well as the following fixes from the previous version: Red mic with cards showing with no refresh needed, no FCs, offline dictation, and no stretched words. These zips all use zipalligned apks.
Offline/Online via Mediafire - 36.43MB /Hotfile mirror
Online only via Mediafire - 14.01MB /Hotfile mirror
M6 Update - 3.92MB /Hotfile mirror
M6-Velvet.apk Only
[*]R3 - "Nearly there" version by ReekoTubbs. This version has the Red mic with cards showing with no refresh needed, no double take, no FCs, offline dictation, auto-launch, no blank screen, and no stretched words. These zips all use zipalligned apks.
Offline/Online via Mediafire - 36.48MB /Hotfile mirror
Online only via Mediafire - 14.07MB /Hotfile mirror
R3 Update - 3.97MB /Hotfile mirror
R3-Velvet.apk Only
How to:
- Move the file you picked to the root of your SD card. Don't put it in any folder. This just makes it easier to find.
- Reboot your device into recovery. See your device's specific instructions on how to do this if you are not sure. Google it for a faster answer.
- In CWM, navigate to "Install zip from SD" and select that.
- Next, highlight "Choose zip from SD card" and select it.
- Scroll down to the Google Now zip you loaded onto your SD card, then select it.
- Scroll down and select the option that says "Yes - Install Google Now....zip"
- Once it has flashed, go back to the main CWM menu and select "Reboot system now".
Double Checking:
- Let the ROM boot all the way, then fire up ES File Explorer (or whichever one you feel like using). We need to make sure a few permissions stuck (just in case).
- If you haven't used ES File Explorer before, open it, then hit menu.
Tap settings, then scroll all the way down.
Check the box that says "Up to Root" (pic).
Then check the box that says "Root Explorer"
Allow root access when the dialogue box for Superuser pops up.
After that, check off "Mount file system", then back out of the menu. (pic)
- Navigate to /system/usr/srec/ and find two folders named "config" and "en-US"
- Tap and hold on the "config" folder icon to bring up the options menu, then scroll down to Properties.
- Tap properties, then tap change and see if the check boxes match this picture.
- If it matches, leave it alone and head back to your home screen to enjoy using Google Now! If it doesn't match, change it so it does.
- Do the same thing for the "en-US" folder.
- Go into the settings menu for Google Now and set it up for your Google account and various other settings.
Now What?
So, you flashed Google Now. You're wondering what you can do with it, right? Well, thankfully, Killer-B has a handy little guide to get you up to speed on all the cool stuff Google Now can do as well as how to do it!
Commands & Now Cards For Google Now!!! Now Video, and custom widget
Troubleshooting
1.) The red mic screen won't display.
To fix this, press the normal mic within the Google Now app. While it is listening (after it beeps), press menu > refresh. Now you're at the red mic.
2.) Can't exit the Google Now app with the back button.
Use the Home button.
3.) Google Now Force Closes.
Make sure you have enough space on your /system partition before installing this. You need at least 60MB free for the Offline versions and 30MB free for the Online versions.
4.) Sports cards aren't showing up.
It won't add teams that aren't in season. American football is currently in preseason. Baseball, however, works perfectly fine.
5.) I want Google Now in another language than US English.
From the Google Now home screen with the cards, tap Menu, then Settings. Tap Voice, then Language and select the language you want recognized. The text of Google Now in searches and regular cards should mirror that of your system language.
6.) My phone exploded.
Have a muffin.
If, for some reason, you want to remove Google Now and return to how you were before, flash the following zip. It removes all Google Now files, and returns the original Google Search app and voice files, as well as sets permissions for the Search app.
Google Now to Google Search via Mediafire- 629.35KB /Hotfile mirror

thanks.. but I mean is the "updateM7.zip" or others.. I downloaded it and there's a /system/app/velvet.apk what for it is? update for the M7?
In flashable zip contains velvet apk (google now itself) and many libs for it.

I think R3 (update) is not different with M7 (not updated), I always refresh to show more card and stuck on white screen, I flashed M7 2 weeks ago before R3 (from original thread)
and R3 I've got FC everytime I launched the app, so revert back to M7 + updated
thanks for sharing mate

Google Play Store - No Connection

I followed the xposed modded google play store instructions to the letter, got everything installed and running. Google Play Store opens and lets me login just fine. But when it opens, it says "No Connection - Retry". Anyone having the same issue or have a solution?

I was on ethernet and I tried turning ethernet off. Maybe I just need to unplug it and try again. Or try a different access point. Any other ideas?
Today, I'm going to try and install the StockPlus rom that comes with everything all ready for you. If that work's I'll let all you know.

Had this problem the other night, I fixed it by loading Xposed framework first in Adb, then installing with ADb command, after open Xposed framework and go to modules use the mouse to tick the ouya box. after this I ran the script to install google play and bam I was running. the batch file would time out on my network copy and the xposed framework so I bypassed it and it solved my issues.

Could you be more clear on what you did? More detailed instructions please, less pronouns. I've installed the framework and ticked the box for the play store mod. Should I wipe my ouya and start fresh?

I have had this issue also, did you see the license agreement for googIe Play when you first opened the play store? I never got the license pop-up so I went back into Exposed are re-ran the installer and then rebooted. Once the ouya came back up I went back into google play and the license agreement screen appeared. Once I accepted the license, google play store loaded without issue.

Is there anyway to uninstall Google Play on the Ouya? I also get the no connection error. I tried clearing the cache, disabling it/re-enable it. All have no luck. Anyone know a better way to fix this?
No Connection(Custom Rom) Fix
For custom roms, just Wipe Dalvik Cache and Flash Gapps. Fixed for me
*easy step by step solution*!!!
1. CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR TIMEZONE MATCHES YOUR OWN TIMEZONE(USE NETWORK PROVIDED TIME
2. CLEAR DATA AND CACHE, FORCE STOP! BLAH BLAH BLAH...
3. REBOOT
AT FIRST THIS SOLUTION DIDN'T WORK FOR ME SO, HERE IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME
*ROOT REQUIRED*
1. DOWNLOAD ROOT EXPLORER or ROOT BROWSER
2. NAVIGATE TO A FOLDER CALLED "etc' (LOWER CASE)
3. THEN, SELECT A FILE NAMED "host"

What did you use? I have just used WinDroid Universal Toolkit to unlock bootloader, flash TWRP and root the phone. It worked, although it did take me a while to get it sorted due to issues with the drivers.
Everything seems to be working.
I hope it can help.
I have the same model, chinese version.
open HTC market, and look for GMS.... app.
download it, launch it, and when required enter the code *#*#.....
it will download somethink like 150M, your mobile will reboot, and at the end you'll find all google app in your mobile.
done.
without root, unlock or other
PLease can you write detaily ? What you said is unclear for me.
1. What do you mean with HTC Market ? I do not have HTC Market. It is called AppMarket and all in Chinese.
2. There are lots of GSM apps there and nothing worked in AppMarket.
Can you put url here ?

Hi,
No official international rom so far (I doubt if it's planned, this phone's target is Asia)
Convenient solution is to flash GAPPS on top of existing software (without erase, just clear cache). Base package can be found at htcui[dot]com//androidrom/htc_820_rom [replace dot] - look for BillGates-li tread (you may need to use chrome with translation, as it's all Chinese). I'm sorry for confusion, but due to rookie rank, I'm not allowed to post external links.
Beware, each major upgrade (that flashes, not patches) will erase those GAPPS.
You'll need:
- customer recovery .img (can be found in orygnial android development section)
- fastboot (to flash i.e. install it)
- (suggested) original recovery.img (to enable future upgrades from HTC, that will download but not install on custom recovery)
Don't forget to backup before flashing - "just'n'case".

GMS App not working
Hi, just bought an HTC 820us, and just like everyone, no google apps. What's weird is that my phone is not even recognized by HTC sync manager, Windroid, HTC tool, fastboot under command line or any other program.
I'm unable to get this device's token in order to unlock the bootloader and install google apps, root, etc. When I try to install the GMS app I get an "App not installed error". If anyone finds a solution for this i'll be more than happy to donate to the cause.
Thanks for reading!

well, I have the same device since two days and I still try to install google play without success yet. it is possible at all or I can just use a limited version of this smartphone?
this is my first android phone and I have no idea what to do...any suggestions are welcome
found a solution
Ok, so after dealing with this phone for a while I found many solutions for the common problems of having an imported phone from china.
I found solutions for: Google Apps, Root, CallerID mismatch (Contacts not recognized when receiving calls due to chinese format of their CallerID)
- How to install Google Apps
1. Do a Factory Reset of your phone in the recovery screen (volume down+power button)
2. Download the GMS安装器 apk in your computer from google or any other source, make sure it's the apk with the android robot with the google apps logo in it. (app is no longer distributed in the included App Market)
3. Tranfer the downloaded file to a SD card (32gb maximum size or else it wont be recognized)
4. Insert the SD card in your phone
5. Using the "File Transfer" app in your phone copy the GMS app to the phone's "Download" folder.
6. Enable "Unknown Sources" in Settings/Security/Device Administration
7. Install the App, DON'T RUN IT. (Installation failed for me at first, a factory reset solved this)
8. Unmount the SD Card
9. Using the "File Transfer" app, install the GMS apk
10. Follow the instructions the GMS app is giving you, remember to remove the SD card before installation
11. The app will download something like 200mb, after that it will ask you to enter a code in your phone's dialer, enter it, it will automatically will reboot.
12. If you are lucky, the phone will have all Google Apps installed.
- Root
Once you have Google apps installed, it's easier for some root exploits to work.
1. Use Kingo Root for windows, it will try many methods of Rooting your device, the one that worked used an installation of various apps. Kingo root needed "USB Debugging" activated in Settings/Developer Options. If you don't have the Developer options menu enabled, please google it.
Once you have Root access it's easier to remove the Chinese apps that came with the phone.
- How to fix the CallerID not recognizing contacts problem
1. Download and Install "ES File Explorer" using the Google Play Store app.
2. Allow Root access when prompted to.
3. Head over to the "Tools" menu using the button in the upper left corner of the "ES File Explorer" app.
4. Enable "Root Explorer"
5. Click on "Root Explorer"
6. Click on "Mount R/W
7. Set "/system" to the RW value.
8. Press OK
9. Navigate to: Local, then /Device/system
10. Look for file named: "build.prop" and open it
11. Open it using ES Note Editor
12. Edit the file (using the 3 dots menu on the upper right corner)
13. Find the entry named: ro.phone.min_match=11 and change the number to 7.
14. Entry has to be named ro.phone.min_match=7
15. Press the return button, it will ask you to save changes, save them.
16. Just in case, remove the RW access mentioned in step 7.
17. Go to Settings/apps/all/ contacts and force stop, clear data
18. Do the same with the Contact Storage App.
19. Reboot Phone, cross your fingers and problem is solved.
I hope this helps a lot of people.
BTW: My phone is an HTC 820us, China Mobile.

4_: Choose the green button next to blue one and above the other three green ones to download a small file called com.gmainstaller.apk
5_: install it
6_: this apk will download a file of abt. 246MB and needs following code in the dialer which pop-ups automatically [ code: * # * # 442 # * # * ]
7_: The device automatically restart and automatically install GAPPS, after the completion of all applications please check the list.
8_: if needed after all, download separately from "apkmirror.com" following two apk's: Google Play Services and Google Play Store.

Pixel Look Alike Setup Guide Galaxy S7

I AM NOT A DEVELOPER, I in no way claim to have made any of this myself, I'm just here to say how I manage to get as close to having Pixel software on my Galaxy S7 G930V as possible.
Basically I'll divide this into three main areas. ROM, Add-on Mods, and Apps.
Read All the way through before starting so as to not miss anything.
Also the add-on mods are installed at the same time as the ROM. That way you keep safety net and what not.
Lets start with the ROM, I am using Ufirm_QE2_Hybrid_Nougat_Rom_FlashFire_Install Status Official For VZW S7FLAT by CVertigo1 / jrkruse
jrkruse said:
Latest Ufirm QE2 Nougat Firmware For The S7 Flat Only
This well give you a Customizable NonRooted Rom that uses stock boot.img not the eng boot image so there is no lag and it will pass safetynet checks and samsung pay will work
Give this guy @umaro some thanks he worked on this until it became reality even when I gave up
These first 2 step must be done first unless you are on my previous version of this rom or my carrier specific rom that do not have root or if your unsure just do this first
This Will Wipe Your Phone
1. Unzip UFIRM_G930_Odin_Firmware.zip and flash all files in odin
2. Go through setup ignore invalid sim message and skip adding accounts
3. Go to Step 3 Below
Click to collapse
To Flash Files in Odin simply launch Odin (Downloads later)
click on each button (Labeled BL, AP, etc.) and select their respective files that were extracted from the archive.
Each respective file's label has each corresponding label. (AP at the beginning of the file name, means put it in AP slot)
Then boot phone into download mode, press home, download, and volume down keys all simultaneously.
Connect it to computer and press the begin button in Odin.
jrkruse said:
If you are on one of my previous version of this rom or my carrier specific rom
1. Unzip UFIRM_G930_Odin_Firmware.zip
2. Use odin to flash BL and CP
3. Unzip ADB_Root_G930U_QE2Files.zip
4. Flash EngBoot image with odin
5. Root Phone. I'm not going to have half a page about rooting there is an entire rooting thread here. The Eng Boot.img can be found in the UFIRM_QD2_Modified_Nougat_Firmware Folder

Rooting is very simple for this phone once the Eng Kernel has been flashed.

Verizon Stock
NoName System UI Mods
Open Source Ad Blocking
Pixel Boot Animation
Manual Debloat
Removed Every thing except Samsung TTS and Samsung Gallary / Camera (you can remove if you prefer to use google camera, DO NOT REMOVE if you plan on using zero camera.)
I don't use the google camera because on my S7 the video records the audio out of sync with the video, I haven't figured out how to fix it. but zero camera allows me to use Photos app instead of gallary so.... yea. (Requires a purchase of the root app for alt gallery)
That's about it for the ROM install.
**note these were installed in FlashFire with the ROM so as to pass safty net.
Now here are the add-on mods I used:
Open-GApps - to get pixel icons, and connectivity service
Android 8 Emojis
iYTB Vanced (Modded YouTube)
Google Lens
Zero Camera Mod
Copy those mods onto internal storage with the ROM install and add them into FlashFire during the ROM install. Place them after the ROM zip, but before the Format Cache / Wipe System less Super SU.

Comands:
SystemUI Tuner:
adb shell pm grant com.zacharee1.systemuituner android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

THANKS A TON DEVS!!!! :good:  :good:
Let me know if anybody has anything else they have done to get this close!
I appreciate you putting all the links and mods into the same place. I have never flashed using FlashFire before (on a G930V) and this was an excellent guide for me.
My only trip up was I didn't understand the language about Camera/Google Camera/Zero Camera Mod and I tried installing the zero mod while debloating the camera off. So I will have to go back and do that.
I skipped the "flashables" youtube, emoji, lens but may end up going back for those.
Thanks again.
Update: I found a cool way to have the new Google now page in the launcher.
Launcher App:
First is the actual app. Typicaly I would just say use Nova but on the pixel launcher the Google Now page looks different than on other third party apps. I wanted this look, so here is how I found a way to get that new Google Now pag to appear on other launchers.
Step one, if you installed Google lens mod, you should be able to get the pixel launcher from the play store, if not get it from XDA labs or APK mirror. Set Google. Set it as your default launcher. Next you will need any third party launcher and Tasker. I'm using Lawn chair Launcher. (On Google play). Use button mapper pro to map pressing the home button to launch third party app. Go into Tasker and make a task, so that whenever Google pixel launcher is launched, open third party launcher. As long as the pixel launcher is set as your default, the new Google now page will appear in apps like Nova and action launcher.
I'm *loving* this so far. Thanks to you and the devs that have worked on each stage of this.
I'm doing:
Verizon Stock
No UI Mods
No Ad Blocking
Pixel Animation
"PlayStore" Edition (not BS free, not manual)
Flashing GApps
Flashing Emoji
My only issue is like you described with the camera. It was working initially and then it updated and the update is causing problems. Also, the double home button launch doesn't work without a 3rd party app (and with screen off with no root).
So I can either figure out a way to always ignore camera app update and use a 3rd party app for launch (screen on only)
or
Will the S8 camera option include the gallery app and not be cleared by the "PlayStore" option?

I believe so, however I don't know, this would be a better question to ask in the ROM's Thread. the link is in the OP
It says you flashed open gapps, does it just re write over existing gapps with no problems

[GUIDE][Nougat] No GAPPs using MicroG [Universal]

--Adapted from my previous guide posted Here
All download links as well as a link to a list of Open-Source applications to replace commonly used Play Store apps are in the third post.
*This will NOT work with any future MIUI ROM if one gets released*
I will be continuously updating this guide for everyone as I stumble upon or unofficially release more supported ROMs, more MicroG flashable zips, and other misc. edits. This is made with Android Nougat in mind but I have used it on Marshmallow and Oreo on several devices, and this may work on even older releases of Android with Xposed support or ROMs with Signature Spoofing. This has also only been personally tested on the XT1031 (Moto G1), XT1607 (Moto G4 Play), XT1766 (Moto E4 QCom), and kltedv/kltespr (Samsung Galaxy S5 G900P).
In order to sync calendars and contacts from your Google account, you must flash the Google Sync Addon by ale5000. If you want swipe gesture typing on the AOSP keyboard, you must flash Shadow53's swipelib.zip. Shadow53 also has a No-Gapps zip package that includes F-Droid, Firefox, and several other apps.
One final thing: This is not for everyone. There was a point in time I didn’t ever think I could go without the Play Store, but ever since I have I don't want to go back. There are numerous pros to switching to a Google-free android setup such as much better battery life, more privacy on your device, a world of open-source alternatives to popular applications, and more. If you have any questions, or if any of this seems daunting if you are newer to things of this nature, please do not hesitate to ask for help. I will try the best I can in my free time to help. Thank you for taking the time to read this, let’s go ahead and start.

*This first post is for ROMs without native Signature Spoofing support. A list of those with native spoofing can be found in the second post as well as the guide for ROMs that include native signature spoofing.*
1. Your Phone with at least 80% battery, preferably 100%.
2. A computer to transfer files to phone
3. You must have Root Access. This can be native root, SuperSU or Magisk.
4. Your ROM of choice
5. Download the correct Xposed SDK and Xposed APK for your version of Android. The Xposed SDK version may differ for your device.
6. MicroG Unofficial Installer ZIP and Google Sync Addon (optional) by ale5000 or any of Shadow53's MicroG flashable files (download links in third post)
7. Your favorite backup method if you wish to back up such as Titanium Backup, MyBackup Root/Pro, etc.
8. Third Party App Store/APK downloader such as Yalp Store if not wishing to use all open source apps
9. A working Google account
Click to collapse
Steps:
1. Make sure you have downloaded the requirements.
2. If you wish, backup the data you want. This should not erase any files stored on an SD card, but I cannot guarantee.
3. Boot into a custom recovery, I am using TWRP
4. Use the standard wipe data options
5. Flash the files in the following order:
-Your ROM of choice
-MicroG Unofficial installer
-Xposed SDK
-SuperSU or Magisk, whichever you prefer
-Custom kernel if using one
6. Just to be safe and to avoid any potential complications, boot up your device and set up the basics. Afterwards, reboot into recovery.
7. In recovery, wipe Dalvik/ART cache only (Not really required, I always recommend it though just to be safe)
8. Go into Settings —> Security —> Turn Unknown Sources on to allow for APK installs.
9. Install the Xposed Installer APK
10. Open Xposed, grant any permissions if it asks for any. Go to the download tab, and search for FakeGApps, download and install. Next go into the Modules tab of Xposed, and check the box next to the module. Reboot to activate (A soft reboot may work, but I recommend a full reboot.) Installing this allows MicroG to bind to the system and spoof the required signatures.
11. Open MicroG in the app drawer, and allow all permissions it asks for. While in here, turn on Google Device Registration
12. After allowing all permissions, go into Settings. Go to Accounts —> Add Account —> Google Account. Sign into your Google Account. This is necessary to allow certain applications that require Google Play Services to work properly.
13. After signing in, head back into MicroG, go under Google Cloud Messaging and enable.
14. In MicroG settings, head to the UnifiedNLP settings. Under the Configure location backends section, open WiFi Location Service and select Mozilla Location Service and grant any permissions asked. Under Configure address lookup backends, select Nominatim.
15. Finally, in Settings, go to Location and change the mode to either Battery Saving or High Accuracy
16. Check MicroG's Self-Check to see if everything has been set up properly, and if so, you are good to go!

This post is the steps for ROMs that natively support Signature Spoofing. There is a list at the bottom of this post of those that currently support it
What you will need:
-Your Phone
-The ROM that supports Signature Spoofing and the kernel of your choice
-MicroG unofficial installer and (optional) Google Sync Addon by ale5000 or one of Shadow53's MicroG installers
-Magisk Root Manager (Optional)
-About 20-30 minutes of your time

The steps
1. Backup anything you want to have backed up. I recommend backup up your Contacts and Calendar events if you have those synced to Google
2. Boot into Recovery on your phone
3. Perform a standard wipe in TWRP
4. Flash the ROM
5. Flash the chosen microG zip file(s)
6. (Optional) Flash Magisk and your favorite kernel
7. (For crDroid Only)If you are flashing crDroid, you need to head over to Settings --> Miscellaneous and turn on the Signature Spoofing toggle
8. Go into Self-Check in microG, and tap the text that says "System grants signature spoofing permission", and allow microG that permission.
9. Still in MicroG, head back to the main part of the app. Open UnifiedNLP.
10. Select the pre-installed location backends.
11. Sign in to your Google account if you wish
12. You're done!

ROMs with native signature spoofing:
1. AEX - 7.1.2
2. AICP - 7.1.2
3. crDroid - 7.1.2
4. ViperOS - 7.1.2
5. DotOS 2.x - 8.x
6. Ressurection Remix - 7.x-8.x
Flashable Packages and App Replacements
There are several different MicroG flashable zip files to choose from. ale5000 has one that includes MicroG, several location backends, and the Play Store. Shadow53 has MicroG and several other zip files such as an F-Droid package, the Swipe Libs for gesture typing on the AOSP keyboard, and several more.
Downloads:
*MicroG Unofficial Installer - ale5000
*Shadow53's Downloads for MicroG, F-Droid, and more
Now alternatives to apps you might commonly use such as Twitter, Facebook, Gmail, etc. can be a bit difficult to find at first. I stumbled upon a list that a user by the name of Decentralized Peer has compiled on GitLab that has a good collection of alternative open-source applications. Also, you can alternatively download APK files of certain apps such as Netflix, Messenger Lite, etc. if you don't find a suitable replacement.
Some open-source apps that are found on F-Droid I use daily are:
-Flym - RSS Reader
-QK SMS - SMS App
-Twidere - Twitter Client
-Toffeed or MaterialFB- Facebook web-client
-Newpipe - YouTube player
-K9 Material - Mail app
-ApkTrack - Checks for updates on APKs installed
Feel free to let us know what you use if you also use open-source apps, and I'll add them to the list!
