Great
Waiting for stylus fix

Waiting for the stylus support. Thanks!

Thanks!
Will this stay official. and have a Long Life time?
edit : Full OTA supported?

Works great, only had it running for 2 days, but love it so far.
Pro:
- super smooth, had some lag on MIUI und even Arrow in some of my apps, all good here
- WiFi works fine, had some problems with that before
- Netflix reports widevine L1
- saftynet passes, even banking app likes it (no root though)
- sound: well equalizer in YouTube music work, which is enough for me
Cons
- had to setup face recognition, cancel only brought me back to Google setup, which then wants to setup face unlock again
Big thanks to devs!

Hi, I really like the rom, everything works fine for now but I noticed two shortcomings,
AwakenOS customizations and features: the rom is missing various features, such as floating windows and some customizations (i think)
Audio: the audio quality is a bit poor and low, i would recommend the developer to add an app like dolby atmos or something else for enhancing the audio quality.
Fast charge: the tab doesnt charge at 20-30w
This is my feedback, I'm not forcing
anyone to follow my advice, but I think this rom has a lot of potential on this device.
Found a lil bug: the battery widget doesnt work, it shows an infinite “loading” screen.

Sending images through Facebook messenger is not possible

Should work. He says flash permessiver to fix. You just need root. But is this a Magisk Module?

Hello. Did you install this ROM? Everytime I try to do this command: adb sideload AwakenOS.zip I get xfer 0 and it immediately stops. Maybe you can help me...
Edit: I've accidentally downloaded the version for another device. I thought it's the correct one because the download link automatically redirects you to the file. So to all others: Pay attention which File you are downloading.

miracast isnt working how to fix

I hope this helps anybody: The ROM seems to be the best one for this device so far for me. The developer says the Pen doesn't work but it does work for me and i don't know why. The keyboard actually didn't work, even after flashing the Permessive File in Magisk which was attached. It only caused a bootloop. For anyone who wants to use the Xiaomi Keyboard anyway: There is still a way to do that. You just need to have your device rooted. I did it easily via Sideload. Just my attached file. It worked for me after rebooting twice.

And maybe somebody wans to know... I use those Magisk Modules which are very important for me because they add some essential feautures. They are attached.
1. BlockAds: Removes many ads systemwide.
2. Magisk Bootloop Protector: Turns off every Magisk Module when a Bootloop which is caused by Magisk is detected. The attached ones are safe but I recommend using it if you install other Magisk Modules.
3. Magisk Xiaomi Keyboard: Enables the Xiaomi Keyboard in any other ROM than MIUI.
4. Mi Sound: Enables MIUI Dolby Atmos for better Sound Quality and adds the equalizer.
5. Miui Core: You need it to use the Mi Sound Magisk Module
6. Xperia Music: Adds the Xperia Music Player which is usefull for me because there isn't any integrated Music Player in this ROM
Hope it helps anybody
IMPORTANT EDIT: It seems like MIUI Core and Sound Module doesn't work with Magisk Delta and somebody has bricked his device by using the Modules! I can only confirm that they work for me and I even attached some Screenshots in another comment so you can see that they work.
YOU ARE CHOOSING TO USE THESE MODULES AND I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DEVICE BRICKS!
EDIT 2: Now someone else didn't got it working until trying to use Magisk Delta. I'm was using Magisk 25.2 and now 26.1 and both are working. It means you need to look yourself what works for you and what not. Anyway you may need more then one try because you may get stuck in a bootloop and need to reflash your device.

Hi everyone, here is my port of Oreo on OnePlus 5. Source is based on AOSP android-8.0.0_r3 (r9 since 20170916, r15 for 20171008), as it's for Pixel. Device repo, kernel and vendor etc are available at the end of the post.
And the same note as before: this ROM is highly experimental, and only meant for the brave ones. I may not update this work regularly.
Hardware features:
Things went more smoothly than before.Majority of hardware features are working, including mobile network, WiFi, Bluetooth (file transfer, network, audio etc), GPS, camera / camcorder, fingerprint, sensors, HW-based encryption etc.
There are some minor issues regarding HW:
1. Virtual keys and hardware keys are enabled altogether. You can disable hardware keys at /proc/touchpanel/key_disable and /sys/module/fpc1020_tee/parameters/ignor_home_for_ESD . If you do want the virtual keys to hide, read first several pages of replies and there are some solutions.
2. Slider is not working, but it produces key event. There are lots of tools that can be used to customize actions for key events, and examples can be found in the first several pages of replies as well.
3. No offscreen gestures.
4. No option for color profile switching (default, sRGB, DCI-P3). You can switch that manually at /sys/class/graphics/fb0/color_profile
Known bugs:
1. Permissive SELinux, and init allows services without a SELinux domain to start
2. Behavior of camera is not consistent - it works on my phone, but it may crash yours. If your phone reboots into EDL/9008 mode after flashing this ROM, use recovery or fastboot to flash back to other ROMs IMMEDIATELY!
3. Sometimes the system does not show charging status (no flash sign in battery icon, but LED lights up as usual), while the battery is being charged just fine.
4. No UI shown when alarm clock goes off. This is an AOSP bug (missing NotificationChannel parameters). Use Google Clock from Play Store instead.
5. VoLTE is broken. Maybe we need to wait for an official release for updated blobs.
And as you may have already known, AOSP does not include a fully functional browser nor a file manager. An `adb install` may be needed after flashing.

You will lose Magisk and GAPPS after upgrading since boot and system partitions are overwritte. Better flash GAPPS right after the firmware, otherwise apps depend on GAPPS will FC even if GAPPS are re-installed.
This is NOT a flashable zip. Use fastboot to flash:
Code:
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
And wipe data before usage.
NOTE: This ROM requires encrypted data partition. If your data partition is not encrypted, format it. Moreover, OxygenOS 4.5.10 4.5.12 firmwares are required.
Changelog:
20171008
Since proper development on Oreo has started, this ROM has served its purpose as an experimental (or first-taste-only) ROM, and thus will not receive any updates anymore.
Updated blobs to OxygenOS 4.5.12 (baseband version was not changed, but better use the new firmware bundled with 4.5.12)
Updated to android-8.0.0_r15
Switched to new kernel source used by MoKee (may solve some WiFi issue, and possibly some others)
Some minor cosmetic changes
No new patches applied, the 0924 archive would be fine.
20170924
Fixed voice translation in Google Translate (maybe other apps as well)
Add a power HAL and double tap to wake is available in settings now (wondering if it actually works)
Use RenderScript driver from OnePlus 3 Oreo beta. Stock one is too old for Oreo, thus it was not loading at all.
Included navigation bar fix from this post
(Also tried new kernel used in MoKee and Lineage OS, but it still causes stalls when remounting so I switched back to the old kernel)
20170916
Bluetooth address should be correct
Fixed broken compress_offload feature (some music player (or ringtones) rely on this)
Make DASH chargers recognized as standard AC charger with fast charging support
Update to android-8.0.0_r9
20170910
Fixed Bluetooth audio. Now LDAC, AAC and SBC all work. If you want aptX / HD, find libaptX{,HD}_encoder.so elsewhere and push them to the phone.
Fixed AOSP keyboard crash when switching to symbol / numbers panel: https://android-review.googlesource.com/#/c/platform/packages/inputmethods/LatinIME/+/469478/

Initial build

Kernel: https://github.com/updateing/android_kernel_oneplus_msm8998 (aosp-o-new branch)
Device: https://github.com/updateing/android_device_oneplus_cheeseburger (aosp-o branch)
Vendor: https://github.com/updateing/android_vendor_oneplus_cheeseburger (aosp-o branch)
In order to build kernel with AOSP, you need build/core/tasks/{kernel,dt}.mk from other ROMs build system. And external/{libnfnetlink,libnetfilter_conntrack} needs to be forwarded to AOSP master.
Source patches are attached to this post.

It's labelled "EXPERIMENTAL" so it's highly unlikely, you really think that would be a priority to get it working with multiboot when the rom isn't even fully working?
niceeeeee
Nice to see some OREO love for our device. Thanks Developer for your hard work.

TWRP should work fine. Personally I'm using TWRP 3.1.1, official build, and haven't noticed any issue.
There should not be any issue when going back to 7.x ROMs (though I have not tried myself), but as wiping data is always involved when changing ROMs, do make a backup of everything including internal storage!
I have not tried any unoffical build of Gapps, and the only official build available now is DeltaGapps. It doesn't work OOB however, I need to extract some libs from APKs to get it to work.

Hello, thank you so much, I'm interested in that many features :good:.
I'm After flashing LOS. Can you help me - how can I get flashable official firmware before installing your custom roms?
Flash all firmware 11.228 via newflasher, start up your phone. When you see first setup window you can turnoff your phone. Then flash custom recovery and see how to install in this OP

Thank You, I'll do it asap
Hello, unfortunately i experienced bug after flashing aex, crDroid and after all them LOS in twrp. Previously I had downloaded stock, deleted all ta files create partition folder and then flashed stock firmware by newflasher (dedicated to my country). That was fine, also fastboot reboot bootloader and fastboot boot twrp was ok. I wiped indicated in instruction partitions/format them, and after booting to system. I was uneable to use it. I'll attach pictures. I could only one think. Use power button to see power options and navbar (in crproblem.jpg file you can see superimposed navbars... strange). (after i firstly saw problem i wiped them all and tried to reinstall ROM with same result new thing is not working LOS) Maybe I should choose other firmware from newflasher (maybe uniwersal, working in all country?). Now I'm forced to use stock, because of custom ROMs doesn't work.
While I was flashing stock, newflasher asked me "if I want to flash persist partition" I chose n
I really need help, (stock rom sucks and I don't want to use GApps because of privacy issues.)
if you have same problems on all custom roms than you do something wrong.
try flash stock rom and start your phone, make a first settings and other thing.

Thank you, I succefully installed taht wonderful ROM . I think it'd be good to mention in a main post that before you install zip yoru device must be fully configured (first configuration is enough, not needed to look in Google account) and have set pattern (it worked for me) without it did not work, you can see only black screen like in a previous post.
Maybe it took part, maybe not but after first configuration I copied twrp.img to SD card and booted twrp from fastboot "fastboot reboot bootloader" then "fastboot boot path_to_img_file/twrp.img" after boot I installed twrp by install ==> install ==> install image ==> twrp.img as a recovery only then I started with next steps
Thank you for supporting me with device problems and answering noob questions I'll test that ROM and give feedback if I have time.

Love, love, loving this ROM! The level of customization is awesome and it is such a beautiful display. I haven't been able to test every setting but I will continue to tinker with it. Thank you so much for the hard work!
P.S. - Sent you some juice money
One thing I noticed, I can no longer send mms without having mobile data on. I was always able to send mms without it on stock fw, cricket/att network but now it has to be on to send and receive pictures and other mms. Is there a setting I'm missing?
Thanks
First, big thanks for juice.
Today I will update rom, seems VoLTE has been fixed.
About your problem, don't know, mms is so old feature never used it. Check your apn or try reset your internet option.
Thread updated, see post #2
Still testing things but I used my phone for work today and really liked the responsiveness of this ROM. I use Google Maps a lot and there was always some lag on the stock fw but none that I could notice on the crDroid. This ROM boots quick and loads resources quick.
I flashed update after work and it seems more stable. I had one minor freeze on v1 and home screen would crash when I was trying to set it up but I also have nova launcher and that might have conflicted. V2 has had no crashes and after setting up the home screen, I just might ditch nova for a bit. Again, I love this ROM.
As far as the MMS goes, I can't find an option to download new internet settings like stock had. I reset apn but still can't send mms without data. It's not a deal breaker but now I'm super curious. Could it be related to the RIL? I honestly don't know, I'm just learning as I go but if that's the case is there anyway to restore the stock RIL? Like replacing the telephony-common.jar?
Thanks again for all your hard work
I'm interested to get the best sound on our device (I created another thread about that).
Here I just want to confirm that rom works with dolby digital plus from here, after freeze audiofx: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/mm-p-dolby-digital-plus-arise-20181115-t3868192
Next is xperia keyboard, I flashed it successfully (but remember to mount system in twrp before install process). Note: After updating rom it is always disappears (it's mentioned in its thread)
Here is it: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/sony-z3-keyboard-lollipop-update-t3056448
Hello,
I want to report that "long press home" doesn't work when swipe-up gestures are enabled
I tried to upload video where I tried to use it but xda app treats mp4 file as invalid.
VoLTE don't work for me.
ROM is very fast and very customized but sometimes WhatsApp and others apps don't show correctly the notifications.
How to install new fonts??

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Important
If you are using this ROM first time, wipe data. Wipe data completely. I mean the option where you need to enter "yes". Use this option and then flash the rom.
This ROM only works with the TWRP I added.
If you want to use GAPPS, flash it directly after flashing ROM. Don't let the ROM boot. Otherwise your device will not get certification, so you will not have Google Access.
Instructions (thx @matshias, just changed few lines to get ROM flashing working)
Put your ROM (and GApps) onto your sdcard (sdcard must be exfat or fat32, NTFS not supported)
Install fastboot and adb on your PC, e.g. from here
Enable developer options and in there select to unlock your bootloader by enabling OEM unlock and enable USB debugging
Unlock your bootloader using this tutorial: https://www.dc-unlocker.com/how-to-read-huawei-bootloader-unlock-code This will factory reset your device
Don't setup, cause you will need to format your phone later again. Shutdown tablet. Hold volume up and power button to start to bootloader
Then run
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.1-0-<your-filename>.img
to flash TWRP
Select with volume buttons "Recovery Mode" and press power button
Select to write to system, otherwise you can't flash ROM
Backup at least system and boot partitions to your sdcard cause you will wipe data in next step. Choose "System Image" for the system partition backup.
Format data using this tutorial
Flash ROM
Optionally flash SuperSU or Magisk in TWRP which should install system less. Keep OEM unlock enabled if you flash or modify anything
Restart

my device is h60-12, should i flash marshmellow stock firmware first before flashing this rom?
Wow thanks for sharing this ROM.
Exzellent Work. Thank you!
I flashed it.
Amazing for the first build.
Let's hope that the rest can be fixed.
I also found another bug, the flashlight is broken.
Magisk 20.3 works fine with pass SafetyNet.
Thanks a lot for the ROM!
I love it!

@yener90 This ROM isn't for Honor 6 , please post to the right forum!
Good!
Everything is set! The firmware is quite stable, nothing is buggy, everything works well. I hope that this version of the firmware on the Honor 6C will not be abandoned and you will make a working camera. I wish you success in your development!
i flashed twrp and i got blackscreen when i try to reboot to recovery and system, i have a nova smart DIG-L21 (not HN but it shouldnt matter because its the same thing) 16GB/2GB, no idea whats happening
rebooting to recovery from system with adb reboot recovery results a blackscreen, then rebooting to bootloader and doing fastboot reboot results a reboot to "your phone is unlocked" screen and going to that black screen again, rebooting to erecovery and clicking reboot from there works and reboots to system after the your phone is unlocked screen
edit: so i just saw what was the device getting reconized as when i do "adb reboot recovery" and, well: Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E, from there only blackscreen, i can hold power button and vol down to reboot to bootloader, from there:
1. if i do fastboot reboot i will reboot, see that your device is unlocked screen for a second and go in that blackscreen again
2. hold power and vol up to reboot in erecovery and click reboot, after that i pass the device is unlocked screen and go to emui
another edit: fastboot boot twrp_3.3.1.0_blabla.img is stuck on booting...

Thank you for the update
Edit:
update works perfectly.
I think i have fixed the reboot issues
I discharged my phone to 0% and skipped two days.
After that I charged it to 100% and since then the reboot function is working now.
Sorry, but I'm a bit confused.
Is this rom suitable for Honor 6 Plus PE-TL10 too?
tnx
No.
I was really thrilled to see that there is a new ROM for the 6C, great to see that.
One question though:

Does "Broken" mean that the three features don't work at all or do they somehow work with bugs?
I'd really like to update my phone but no working camera at all would be quite a problem.
Fix the camera please
Did someone manage to fix the camera? If so, how? I tried to fix it myself - bootloop

It's work on my DIG-AL00(Enjoy 6S). You shouldn't flash SuperSU after you flashed the system. Just LineageOS + OpenGapps is fine. Wait for a while and you can enjoy it.
I have noticed that the Notification LED will turn on (Yellow colored, never appears on EMUI) some times when I plugging in the charging, but not stable, only flashes for a few times. And my Reboot function is working normally too, but my fingerprint is broken. This is unlike @yener90 's description.
Interesting, right?

1. Starting screen casting/mirroring causes a reboot.
2. The in-built screen recorder also causes a reboot when started.
Dodgy Screen Recorder Fix : Download and install the attached apk below, change the quick setting tile to the new one at the bottom of the list, and you should be able to record. (Its the screen recorder app from BlissRom, nothing malicious )
3. Let me know :good:
If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Thanks op for my favorite rom RR.
Only issue is whats reported in the o.p.
Not really a problem since regional models have faceunlock, but faceunlock feature not operable.
I noticed any of the custom roms faceunlock feature works on them. only the stock rom... hope thers a fix. A Motorola update has some bug fixes stock build retus dated 11/16/2020.
I also love how the stock moto camera works by downloading the apk from the playstore (moto camera2)
The stock camera has action cam which i use.
I don't use screen recording anyways.
Great job!!! I appreciate your work.
I cant find the three finger screenshot.
I did see a setting in RR settings but only to use volume keys or drag option. the drag option screenshot works but i cant get the volime key combo to work.

Removed built-in Screen Recorder QS Tile. (only the working one appears now)
Removed Recorder app as it links to in-built broken screen recorder.
Added HavocOS audio recorder app.
Added update steps to post #2.

Again thanks ..
Question. hope you can answer.
The gapps package inside the rom zip when extracted, has apps in .lz format. I tried to re-zip the gapps and size is 1.2GB and I also get the error package "corrupt"
The apps in .lz format has android auto in which I'm trying to get working on custom roms rather than just stock.
I believe the gapps package that is small enough to flash is nano and pico nano like 200mb and pico like 91mb.They both lack android auto support.
Per the gapps page only "super and stock gapps zips" contain android auto support.
For some reason twrp won't let me sideload via cpu. Soon as I swipe to start sideload mode it immediately says failed.
Also twrp on this rom won't let me resize the /system/data partion to gather enough space to flash a large gapps package.
523MB of space on the /system after flashing the rom.
How do I get the gapps package you included flashed?

You rock beetle84!!
Dude, @Beetle84 !! The only reason I got this damned phone was so that I could build an RR for it and you ninjad me!!
No, I'm just kidding. I only have a dual core Pentium with 6 gigs ram atm and would lose my mind tryin to build with it. I friggin love this phone but I was kinda disappointed with the ROMs. Hell, I was about to go back to stock when I saw this, my favorite. And I haven't noticed a bug nor had an unexpected reboot in the 4 or so days since I've been running it and my favorite screen recorder app is working just fine in it as well. It is now the best, and most stable ROM we've got, and ROMs don't get better than RR, IMHO....Check out my homescreen with the only wallpaper I've used since booting my 1st RR like 5 years ago....its from the RR 5.1.1 PitchBlack Theme. Yeah I know. I need an icon pack....I'm on it.....Thanks for my favorite ROM on my favorite phone, Sir. It's outatanding!
And here's that wall, if anyone wants it.

What a fantastic ROM! The best for munch at the moment, in my opinion.
Really like all the customisation options...
Used it for a couple of hours now, no bugs found yet.
When clean flashing for the first time had to do another reset to recovery between flashing the firmware and flashing the ROM.
Tested the vanilla version: signature spoofing enabled, so microG runs basically fine. Just a CTS profile mismatch, so banking apps don't work. Hope this can be altered in the future.
For now using the version with GApps, everything fine there.
The only feature I miss is face unlock.

I have problems with the whatsapp audio I SEND, they are very low in volume while no problems with the audio I receive. Same problem with the audio I send in Telegram. Anyone have similar problems? If I use an app to record the voice and then send the audio in whatsapp then no problem so I rule out microphone problems in general. Very strange.

It's poco f4/redmi k40s topic. what do you think?
I've problems with installing YouTube Vanced app or Revanced (with patches) on that ROM. App won't install because it detects newer package (even with uninstalling via adb) or after patching (latest recommended version in revanced: v17.36.37) app crashes. It didn't happen to me before. Does anyone experience the same problem in SparkOS?
Except it it ROM works smoothly and everything else seems working. I like customization, miss only split screen.

edit: noticed one issue with persistent notifications. I am using Notify for Mi Band, which has permament notification which shows that I am connected to Mi Band, however in that ROM I am able to disable it just by swiping right/left. Never met with such an ability before on any rom in any of my phones.

Hmm, I managed to get work with newer youtube (v17-36-37 from apkmirror) which I patched with "revanced" app however it needed few attempts because of crashes.
And about split screen... well - that's strange.
haptic feedback not triggered from time to time (gboard, back gesture, etc.)
This (v13.1) is by far the best experience I have had on a custom ROM in a long time. But while trying to dirty flash, i was getting some encryption issue and had to format the phone. Anyone tell me why this happened and also how to avoid this in future updates? Thank you in advance. #Davinci

Same problem here
With the 2022-10-25 build the low mic volume is gone for me!
Thanks for the great rom!
Flashed new build (dirty flash).
I am surprised because slow motion mode (960fps/720p) works great with MIUI camera. I didn't manage to get it working on any gcam before. However 64mpx mode causes strange kind of crash - I am getting notification in MIUI camera about not available camera. I cannot switch to other mode except removing app cache.
Not sure whether it's related with dolby configs, but YouTube ReVanced seems to work better. It doesn't crash now with higher amount of patches, before I used only options to keep YouTube in background while playing music and removing general ads.
Also, there is still issue with ability to disable permament notification-bar from Mi Notify app, which shouldn't be possible.
PS. Changelog of build for curious people:
25-Oct-2022
Introduced MiuiCam
Enabled smart Charging
Enabled blur
Enabled smart pixels
Enabled battery health
Reworked some dolby configs
