Ive bought an mi5s last week and the default rom that was on it when i bought it was the rom you see in the picture below.
Now i want to update it but when i go to updator and check for updates it says no updates available.can you tell me whats the problem ?
Welcome to the club. I am in the same situation.
Can't update normally - no OTA and downloading through website, updating says "Couldn't verify update package".
Can't use recovery fastboot because not unlocked.
Can't unlock because MIUI is lower than 8.1 (missing the option for unlock in developer options).
This is a disgrace. I have unlock permissions but have no way of doing it without a deep flash cable lol. Anyone?

Last update with oxygen updater made my phone bootloop, so I would like to install the update by official OTA.
Do you know in which country the OTA is out? I would like to install it with a VPN connection.

Just install oxygen updater from play store. Not official, but works fine.

Which country are you in, what device model ( region Etc ) do you have and is it stock? If not can you list out the current mods that are in place?

As karimrim is also from France ( from the earlier post in this thread ), it could be that at some point the update will arrive OTA without the need to use a VPN. Hopefully on the info you provided, someone more knowledgeable will be able to help!

I have a Realme X3 superzoom stuck with Android 10 and UI.1.0 on firmware RMX2081_11_A.53, I would like to upgrade to UI 2.0 and Android 11 but any time I check for updates it tell me that the last update is already installed, the device is locked and I have no idea why I'm not getting OTA updates, I also check on internet for a flashable OZIP to update manually but I haven't found anything, just old firmware with Android 10 and UI 1.0, anyone got an idea why I'm am not getting OTA? Or where to find the update to do it manually? The bootloader is locked. Thanks for your reply! I'm driving crazy with this!

In realme page the only flashable OZIP update is lower than mine, so I can't flash it, and also there's the last firmware in .ofp, but apparently the official tool does not support X3 superzoom "yet" and only way I found to flash it is through MSM download tool who ask you for a login.. that I have to pay for make someone else doing it with TeamViewer.. I am pretty frustrated.. never have similar problems with any other device

I know that we can manually download the stable A13 update and upgrade our phones
I understand that OnePlus are rolling out the OTA to those which took part in the open beta having priority
My question is, is it preferred to wait for the OTA and if so, will that OTA be a different version of the ones that can be downloaded?

You have the option to install the latest stable A13 versions.

Thinking back on the message, I was clearly overthinking it!
I'm on the latest A12 .c66 so from what I've read, it should be fine to upgrade to A13.

I have been trying to download the OTA - but it gets stuck and fails installation, any help with the installation or just the OTA zip file so i can manually load it locally.
I got the OTA, but didn't realize I had to grab the zip before installing. I'm trying to get the boot.img out so I can root, so I'm looking for the OTA as well.
Do not install it , I updated it and since then can not find system update in settings , nothing at all
That's the one that takes you to A12, I just spent yesterday downgrading back to 11, rerooting, etc
I personally don't recommend it if you're satisfied with your phone now, unless there is something about OOS 11 you really dislike or an A 12 feature you really want.
Can anyone confirm that the new update does in fact fix the connection issues that the previous update had? And possibly the automatic brightness issue as well. Those were really the only two issues I had with Android 12 and if those are fixed, I wouldn't mind updating again.
