[Q] usb connection problem

Hi
i have been trying to upload files from my laptop to my huawei ascend p6 via USB, when it connects its on charging only, i do not receive the notification that asks me to select the mode. Also when i look into the settings the USB tethering is disable, i've tried to do the USB debugging by doing the developer options and enable the usb debugging, but when i tried to connect the mobile to the pc via usb, it is still on charging, i cannot connect my phone. What to do?. Help me out please

Need file default.prop

Hi guys.
I have a GT-I9515 with a broken screen. I tried to change the default.prop file to enable the debugging mode, but after that I can't connect the device to my pc. When I connect the phone to the USB port, the phone just starts to charge, with no signal of connection (like mass storage or debugging mode).
I need the file "default.prop" from GT-I9515 to try to recover this function. Can anyone share this file with me?
UPDATE: Sorry guys. I've created this thread in the wrong place. I'm trrying to move the thread to the "Troubleshooting" section, with no success.

Usb file transfer problem

Since I updated my phone to RR-N-v5.8.3 I am now unable to transfer files to and from a PC. When I connect the USB cable to the PC and choose USB file transfer on my phone nothing happens. It works with the PTP option but the Transfer files option isn't working. Can someone please help out?
USB File transfer was always broken on CM and now LOS. There's an easy workaround though
1. Connect the phone to pc via usb cable
2. Choose "tranfer photos(PTP)"
3. Now change it to "transfer files"
Cheers mate! Been banging my head against the wall about this
Also works if you turn on debugging. For some reason that's the only way mine gets detected.

HiSuite Mounting

Is there a way to stop the HiSuite image from mounting when connecting via USB? Mate SE, Android 8.0 (ota), rooted, macOS.
If you change the developer settings to usb debugging, usb allow adb debugging in charge only, and usb connection to charge only, that will avoid the hi Suite stuff.
If you change the settings and then connect, keep the settings app open, for some reason you have to go back and reset them again after connecting. At least that's what I have to do, they don't seem to stick.

Click to collapse
Thanks!
Just to follow up, I discovered a more permanent solution, if you're rooted:
Rename (or delete) the file autorun.iso located at /data/hw_init/version/region_comm/oversea/cdrom
Can't mount it if it's not there

File transfer problem

Hello,
I've a Mi Mix 2 for 2 years. I never had any worries.
I always plugged my phone into my computer for either file transfers or for USB connection sharing.
Since Monday, more possible. I plug in my phone, and it starts charging directly, and the notification to choose file transfer, photo, or charge only no longer appears. The computer doesn't detect it anymore as my Mi Mix 2, but an unknown device with a problem.
I have already uninstalled / updated drivers, MTP too.
I also tried on another pc, and with other cables, the problem remains the same. I'm starting to lose patience.
I specify, developer mode is enabled, with USB debugging and default file transfer mode.
Has anyone ever encountered this problem? And if so, how to solve it if possible?
Thanks a lot !
Probably you have to change/repair usb c port in your phone
Or have you activate USB Debugging?
