Iphone Icloud ID - Apple iPhone 12 Development and Modification

Is there way to remove icloud id from iphone?
I'm only interested.

As in icloud lock? Is this a phone you reset?
If you bought it, where did you get it from?

No, I didn't buy it, I'm only interested if it possible

Yea I know this, but I'm worried that my insurance may not give me a new phone for any reason so I wanna be safe if this happen my phone still will work with changed IMEI

purchased locked phone.

So my girlfriend just purchased an S6 (sprint) and when she took it to the store to have it activated they couldn't do it because it was "locked"...some kind of carrier lock I'm assuming.. Like they owed sprint money or something? Obviously if it was a normal security lock than we could just do a factory reset but apparently that won't work.
So.. Anyone know anything about this and a way around it? I'm a Verizon user and have never heard of this kind of problem. Thanks for any help in advance.

All carriers, including Verizon, have a carrier BLOCK not lock. A carrier lock means the device is locked to that carrier. What exactly did Sprint say? If the phone is blacklisted, which you can check on any ESN checker online, then it will never work on Sprint.
Where did she buy the phone at?

I'm unsure what they told her exactly, besides that they can't activate it. Now what is the point of a carrier block? She got the phone off Craigslist.

Yup. Its definitely carrier blocked. NEVER buy cell phones from Craigslist without first checking the ESN from Sprint directly. You are better off selling the device on eBay FOR PARTS.
The point of a carrier block is so people who steal, or fail to pay off their device, can not use it anymore, and thus rip off good people on craigslist and eBay.

Joy. Problem with this phone is that it has a none removal back.. Can't look under the battery.. Can't get into the phone to check the ESN either without the previous owners Gmail account information.

That I believe is an FRP lock.. Totally different from a carrier block. But if you go into download mode, you can press the home key to view IMEI. But FRP lock, which is what you just described, can be bypassed.
Check out this video and follow it to a T. You may need to improvise do to different android versions.

Hope it helps! If its just FRP locked, and not carrier blocked, then you should be okay to get it activated.

Ahh it is.. So the phone did have an FRP lock on it but that was an easy fix.. But unfortunately it also has a carrier block due to an unpaid balance. Thanks for everyone's help.

can't you contact the person who sold it to you? threatening to bring the police in might scare them into giving you a refund. If the phone had a FRP lock and its flagged, then im pretty sure the phone was stolen.

Yeah It more than likely was. It's pretty much a dead end.. My gf payed for it but her brother met the person somewhere for pickup.. Only contact information is an email address which they haven't responded too after the sale. Apparently the phone was dead when he picked it up. I personally would have put it on my car charger and powered it on before paying for it.. And got more information.. But oh well.. Now she knows to be more cautious and I'll probably handle any future used phone purchases for her.
Saafir said:
Shady stuff man. I hope you have better luck with Craigslist in the future. I try to steer clear of them, sort of like Ebay. You could always inquire on what the remaining balance is. If it's something stupid like $48, I would just pay it off.

Swappa imei check help

So when I checked the imei it says blocked but activation status is clean, I'm confused.
I dunno, but I believe a blocked IMEI is for reported lost/stolen devices.
Wonder why it says activation ready then.

Perhaps the original owner claimed it was lost, not stolen. Either way don't buy it unless the IMEI is clean and you can register it under your own account.
It is also possible that the phone is not paid off yet, i.e. installment plan from a carrier.
Like the above, look for another clean device...
what device was it ?
if apple you have iCloud
if iCloud is blocked you can't do nothing
so blacklist in GSMa base mean device is lost or stolen
if iCloud is in lost mode you, device was put in lost mode by user on Apple server
You can check it for free at my site
blacklist checker

Question Samsung remotely disabled Fold 3

Long story short, GF and I broke up, she didnt pay the remaining balance of our trade in, I had no idea she did that and now my fold 3 has been remotely disbled by Samsung, is there a way around this ?

Samsung would have entered in to a contract with only one of you. Rather than "our" trade-in, it would have been your girlfriends, I assume.
So, you could contact Samsung and see if you can take over the contract - or start another one?
But, it sounds like the phone isn't fully paid off, so isnt owned by either of you yet.
Thats my delima, its under my exes name and when I called Samsung they refused to talk any further. I tried to pay it off but they dont want to hear me. Is there another way such as rooting ?
Pisses me off, im out a S21 because of this for trading in and using a older iPhone which im no longer fond off since I switched to Android.
Long story short, send it back to your GF as it's hers and get one for yourself ...
Can't places like Cricket Wireless activate them? I guess I'm thinking of a device that's carrier-branded, with it being that Samsung locked it, not sure.

You should check the IMEI against blacklist database. If it was purchased through a provider, chances are it will not work on that carrier, but should on others. If Samsung has it blacklisted, you're basically screwed.
Really frustrating, im trying to pay the balance owed so it can be reinststed, trying to avoid buying another one altogether since I gave up my last phone as part of the trade on this. Samsung doesn't want to talk to me.

Ummm I didn't send my trades in and before samsung sent me emails saying they was gonna disable it i signed out my samsung account before they could disable i aint stupid i just been doing this to save money on phones for years samsung aint getting 2000 out of me and then i crossflashed to verzion rom bc my z fold 3 is unlocked us version and i can prove it that also i am using my z fold 3 to type this now and all i paid samsung is 169 so i got a z fold 3 for 169 bucks

and when you got the email that Samsung was going to disable it you should have signed out of your Samsung account bc you don't need it to get the phone to work bc you can sign in to your google accounts that's a loophole i figured out how on my own bc I didn't know about it until Samsung sent me the emails bc its gotta be signed in on a Samsung account before they can disable it bc its gotta be log in on Samsungs server i got the email in late December and been using it since i have gotten my z fold 3 and also verzions rom splits the iemi number up as it does on Verizon phones bc on gsm the iemi number is all into one and then Samsung can only disable it when your signed in
they can remote lock it if they don't have Samsung account signed in and i also think its doesn't matter what Samsung account i think it only matters to the one that the phone was bought with but i ain't gonna test it tho i don't want a paperweight

I like how you think. Thanks for the info
I'm pretty sure your EX GF the owner of the phone is the only one Samsung can and will talk to.
If you can still reason with her I think your best bet would be to contact her and try and work something out
its in her best interests other wise it's just going against her credit. Maybe she'll let you take over the phone and payments.

Question [CLOSED] Help! Bought dodgy phone

I new it was to good to be true, the reason my phone keeps saying cannot use voice or connot use sim 1, is due to someone selling me a phone that was previously on a contract! And of course there is no trace of this guy, I contacted Google, they need proof of perchase! Yeah that's not going to be simple to get, it's there any way of unlocking this device? I haven't tried any other sim, apparently it's a Three network phone but iv been using my EE sim this hole time for a long time to, can I root to fix this or?
I do not want to lose this phone because of some scammer

Actually illegal in most of the world, not simply the US.
How does that pay work? I though the reason to blacklist IMEI's was because they were reported stolen. Not much point if you can just pay a small ammount to own a stolen phone?
