Find X2 CPH2023 EU - Demo mode and OTA. - OPPO Find X2 Questions & Answers

Hi all,
I brought some handsets which came from a phone store that closed down recently.
One of those handsets is an Oppo Find X2 CPH2023 and it is stuck in demo mode.
Steps I have run through to remove:
Installed different launcher and tried to remove demo app using it. (Won't uninstall, it starts and just fails).
Install application from https://www.martview-forum.com/threads/oppo-all-model-demo-live-remove-gift-for-all-oppo-user.2519/ (Does wipe handset but leaves lots in tact including demo app).
Use ADB PM to try and remove package (Connects but won't let me remove).
Use ADB PM to disable package (Demo mode is still running).
Boot into recovery (There is no option to wipe).
The handset is not stolen and I have receipts for it!
The handset works but it is stuck on Android 10 and I can't upgrade it etc.
Does anybody have any idea how to go about removing demo mode? I would be happy to use a paid for service if someone can point me in the right direction, I am in the UK.
Also would anybody have a link to the ozip file for the full Android 11 for this model. I have used the search engine but haven't been able to locate one.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] no more market access in Witstech A81G

Hello,
I need help for my new Witstech A81G. After I had to do factory reset and then flashing it, the following features do not work:
- when I go to market and try to download anything, the download stalls on "starting download"
- I also don't manage to sign into Google Talk.
(the two might be connected...?)
My specs:
- This is a Witstech A81G with full USB bought from Merimobiles in January
http://www.merimobiles.com/Witstech_A81G_New_Version_with_Full_USB_p/meri0544.htm
- It says model number MID, Android version 2.2, Kernel 2.6.32 Android MID #290, Build number MID-eng 2.2 JIEVIS eng.MID.20101124.105136 test-keys
- I have a 16GB mini SD card
- I am using it over wifi
- otherwise I am on W7 64 bits.
- Myself am quite computer proficient, but this is first time I use android.
The history how things happened (it is about 3 weeks I am fighting with it):
1> Started all fine
I got the device and it was working fine. I have set up wifi, my Google account, and checked apps.
I performed the "Witstech A81E Market full access fixed" proposed by Merimobiles, clearing cache and data, and got the Market working fully.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l-nySibzeA
Then I installed few more apps, including App 2SD free, that let me move apps to my sd card.
Everything was fine, except I also installed apps for kids and let my son use it.
2> Factory reset
My son badly messed up and I could not understand much how to fiw what he did. So I thought I rather do a factory reset from the tablet, and I did (settings/privacy). This is when the trouble started.
After that, I did the market fix again, and could see all apps... but never could download any.
3> Flashing the A81
I went one step further and flashed the device, following instructions from Gadgets and tablets (http://www.gadgetsandtablets.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=33)and using Android 2.2-1208 Firmware they propose (http://www.gadgetsandtablets.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=16).
I backed up the apps I had into my PC. I used another 8GB sd card and formatted it FAT 32 using HP formatting tool (that is only difference with the described process, they say 1GB and FAT), copied the mlo file to my SD card and then other files, and flashed it into the A81G: the flash worked. I had to do recalibration, reset wifi and google accounts.
And again, no download in Market.
4> Several variation attempts
I tried different things:
- flashed again and tried another Google account
- installed WitsSetup.apk proposed by the same forum, that is supposed to optimize the device to the firmware or opposite
http://www.gadgetsandtablets.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=33
- installed z4root
In any case, and even without trying the "market access fix", I can not downlaod anything from Market.
Also, in the course of these attempts I realized my Talk does not work (I did not try before).
5> More aborted attempts
Browsing around, I realize this might be because of a wrong ID suggesting this device could not work with Market. (although it should, even in limited mode, as it didout of the factory!)
I also have on my PC a backup of froyo.zip which I think is the one originally installed. I tried to copy / paste it into android system, of course did not work.
So I would like to try the more complicate fix (changing ID) as proposed here for example
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=687371
But I run into 2 difficulties:
a> using the emulator: I don't have any keyboard access so can't type in
b> I installed Android SDK manager on my PC in order to run ADB. I installed Android SDK tools revision 9, android SDK platform tools revision 2, Google USB driver package revision 4. W>hen I connect it, I now see in my device manager under "other devices" a "A81E" with no drivers - and it does not find drivers neither in the above package nor on the web.
So I am blocked again.
6> What more?
Well... i pray for help, because without any apps this device is just useless.
I would like to manage::
- either fix market & google talk access
- or somehow retsore factory set uyp the way it was - with market access (even limited).
Note that I am with limited capacities, since:
- I dont have many programmes on and can't download anything from Market (though I have the backup of few Witstech original appps)
- I can't type into the emulator nor got ADB to work.
I hope you can support me or this device will be thrown through the window without even beeing used 1 full week.
Thanks

Hi, you seem to have tried everthing except using the firmware from the official Witstech web site?
This might be worth a try.
Go to http://www.witstech.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1#post1 & download the correct format tool hpusbfw.rar. Format your sd card to FAT
Then go to http://witstech.net/download.html & down load the correct firmware for your tablet. Follow the correct proceedure to flash the device. Best of luck.
Maybe the MarketEnabler would help? Google said before use the market, user should login the Gtalk once.
better follow #2 suggestions, reflash the official firmware

Fly audio android car system

Hi guys,
I hope i am in the right place...
I have an android system installed in my Mitsubishi, but the local importer of the system, has "locked" the system by removing the Google play app, file manager and all ability to make any changes.
Is there a way I can add back the Google play so i can add a few apps to the system? The system has a USB port.

no not really
without a file manager
I was going to say - put a file manager app on to the usb - I would have provided you with a file manager app
wait for usb files to show up and install app but
a file manager would be needed to show the USB and install an app manually anyway
I mod android and I have my own rom but I can't think of anyway other than....
having another type of app store on there
This unit has a full thread on 4pda.

You should find all your answers there. Since googling it only returns results in Russian I presume it is a unit only sold there.
Installing APK
Hi,
Did you manage to install an APK?? Or did you get any answers regarding this issue?
Just an idea because I don't have this in my car:
connect it to a laptop, and use "adb" tool to install the APK files you wish.
Question is, how would you root it after that, and whether converting apps into system apps would work in order to install play-services and play-store.
In order to fetch the APK files from a normal device, you can use my app :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lb.app_manager
Can I reply here?

Hello Goamir,
Does this android work properly with the 2016 mitsubishi outlander can you use your original gps antenna, rear & side view camera are you able to get your cars A/c settings etc on the screen? If not can anyone recommend a proper android system?
I managed to activate developer options
Today I managed to activate developer options in my car (Mitsubishi Outlander) by going to input devices -> Voice input, I played a bit with it, I set the default to English and downloaded offline recognition, afterwards I pressed the small question mark in the upper corner and there it tells you that you don't have google services, there's a button there that suggest to install it, I pressed it and later I noticed that I have developer options (not sure which step actually enabled it, If someone can repeat it step-by-step and tell it will be great).
Anyhow now i'm stuck again since I can't connect usb and push apk, I tried with male-male usb but it didn't worked.
If anyone got any idea please share.
Details I have on the device:
When you reboot it and long press the screen it takes you to fastboot mode, when you hold volume up in the steering wheel it takes you to recovery .
The model I have is Flyaudio G8508

I am trying to contact someone from Russian forum for the solution they already have experience. Will update.
I saw today how tech entering the recovery mode. I think it was like that:

I will try to update today.
Any news?
Hi,
I got my system on my Mitsubishi updated - unfortunately i payed for it...
Still if I could help in this forum I will.
I can install any app and have full access to google play.
However some option are still missing.
e.g. when i connect my PC to the system it is not show at all.
i was thinking i could somehow create a full system backup (image) and then turn the backup to an update file.
If anyone can offer a way to enable the use option, that is that my system would appear on my pc i could try it.
I have developer option and usb debugging on via an app i downloaded.
If i can do it in any other way I can try.
Another thing i was thinking of is to create a full backup and later restore, from the recovery mode but there are only option for update in the recovery mode.
Is it possible to allow/add the restore/backup option ?

Help rooting a BLU Dash M

I need some assistance trying to find a method to root my Dash M (which appears to be extremely rare to find a rooting method for).
I already tried framaroot (tool I used to root my tablet before) and Kingroot and such, but none were able to do it (and all google searches led to videos on rooting a BLU Dash 5.0 or another device from the Dash range, which isn't what I needed).
The Dash M is running Android 5.1 and custom build BLU_D030U_V16_GENERIC 28-01-2016 15:41
If anyone could help it'd be very much appreciated c:

I have a Blu Advance 5.0, from the same exact family. In May, they had an OTA sent out to it to update the security. And little did I know, that meant no more root. Before the OTA to V06, I was on V04, and was able to root with Kingroot in less than a minute, perfectly. After the update, nothing good came of it.
For the past months I've tried hundreds of things to flash custom roms and recoveries (which I figured it out eventually) and then it crashed, due to a "damaged OTA". This meant that it couldn't update because I was rooted.
So here's the solution... If there's any older versions of your model or chipset (AKA Mediatek D030UX, D030U {MT6580}), download that firmware to your computer desktop as a (.zip) file. Then download the SP Flash Tool (Smart phone flash tool) from their website, and plug your phone into your computer via Media Transfer (MTK).
If you already have developer's options enabled, skip this.
- Go into your settings, go all the way down to "About Device", and find where it says "Build Number" (which will most likely have the phone brand in the file name). Tap on that about 8 times until it give a toast notification saying "Developer's Mode Enabled".
After you get that done, go back into your regular setting and now there should be a box above your "About Device" button that says "Developer Options". Tap that, then turn them on (press OK/YES if a prompt pops up) and then select the following options ,if available.
-OEM Unlock
-USB Debugging
Now plug your phone into a computer and install the drivers for your phone (it should do it automatically) and launch the SP Flash Tool that you had downloaded (extract to desktop before you launch, or it will show "error"). Now open the SP Flash tool and click on the "Scatter Loading" button. Navigate to your desktop, and find the firmware folder you downloaded. Click on that, then click on "Firmware", and it should bring up a .TXT file (Scatter file) with the desired firmware version you want. Click on it and press open.
A chart will appear in the space below with all the things the firmware has built in. All of them should be checked. Take out your battery now (from your phone) and plug the phone in without the battery. Wait for the model on the left to name your device, and click on the drop down list above the chart, it should give 3 options. Firmware Upgrade, Download only, and Format All + Download. Press Format All + Download. The bar at the bottom will turn a few colors, depending on what it's doing.
Now you're done! It's flashed. From that version, try to figure out a way of rooting it.
WARNING: Flashing erases all data on device, please backup to an external storage (SD CARD), before attempting this, in case you brick your device.

i know this is an old thread but.... i rooted mine (Dash M) with KingoRoot (look it up on Google)... i tried lots of stuff with no results, everything failed (i've already tried to root with KR in windows) but the only thing that worked was rooting with the android app in KR page... i felt really stupid after trying everything with no results when i've been using KR for other "hard phones".... either way, the only downside is that their SU manager displays all the time ads no matter where in the phone you are... but you can freeze the app to fix this and unfreeze it when you need to assign permissions....
BTW: its KingoRoot not kingroot (just in case)

D851 stuck in init setup with corrupt Play Store service message

I've searched thru many posts but did not see one close enough for my comfort, excuse me if I'm double posting.
First time poster, long time supporter, apparent noob who can't root with KingRoot... I ran the desk top version on my LG G3 D851 v10c or e. Idk. Fresh out of the box refurbished from the $130 Woot.com special last month. I used that to experiment before rooting thru my pc because it's faster, easier and it takes an idiot to brick a device like that... I removed some bloatware and most of the GApps and everything was fine before\after reboot. Then I went into core and took out a few that I know I have removed from other devices before, and it was running smooth until I opened (curse it) the Play Store. I get:
Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped.
And forces me to reset. It starts in the initial setup boot menu, can't find a way out thru the menus anywhere so I try to just run it thru init setup. At this point, I do not believe that I actually permanently removed any files, just first step. But I obviously may be wrong.
Start >WiFi login>skip LG SmartShare (Lg's NFC\WiFi transfer protocol) setup:
Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped.
So I try the SmartShare setup:
Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped.
I try no\both wifi\data on\off, KingRoot on\off, everything I could think of. So I factory reset. No change.
So my factors are:
I can supposedly transfer files thru SmartShare because when I try to transfer from G3>G4 it said file type not recognized I believe. I'm not with the device now, but it does not recognize it. I can also send files to the G4, when in transfer mode, if I tap the G3's screen, it seems G4 to Play Store but to unknown address. I can use WiFi\data. I did not set the device into debug mode and do not have drivers or recovery installed. The device was factory fresh when I crashed it, so there's nothing to worry about losing.
My question is:
What is my next step? Try computer debug? I was thinking maybe try file transfer the Play Store and Service files since I could use SmartShare. Or skeet shooting? Add it to my wall of shame with the $40 RCA tablets (Not my fault! If it's not supposed to be cracked, then why is it encrypted?)
Anyways, I'd appreciate any help, advise, more questions, and answers, definitely answers. Thank you in advance.

Abdroid tv box T9 RK3318 2gb ram 16gb rom stuck on TV logo after unroot with superSU

Hi all!
Some days ago I urooted my TV android tv box with superSU and then I restarted it. From that moment when I plug the device it only reach the T9 logo (not the android one) and don't go further.
I've tried different ways to try to unstuck it, but nothing has worked.
I tried:
- enter recovery boot by holding the button in the av hole -> nothing happens
- install new firmware with adb sideload with both ubuntu and windows 10 -> always get errors (often error: closed, sometime other errors that at the moment don't remember)
- install new firmware with sd card using SDCard Installer -> the device doesn't boot when the sd is inserted
Moreover, with adb in ubuntu sometimes it recognises the device and I can enter the adb shell (but obtain errors when try any tipe of command), and sometimes don't (after adb devices I see list of attached devices: ??????????????? offline)
Now I'm thinking to try to install an ubuntu like on an usb pendrive...
I will be very grateful of any help/suggestion to how to revive my device :fingers-crossed:
Thank you!!!
Does this happen to be a pendoo model? I have a pendoo x10 MAX and i actually simply just installed supersu while it was rooted. Since then, I haven't gotten this thing to boot. Just stays on the boot screen the entire way. I wiped in recovery, knew that'd do nothing. I just wanted a root MANAGER. I tried Magisk, my favorite.. no go.. so then I went a bit old school.. so I tried ChainFire's SuperSU.. and THAT updated the SU binary! It said it succeeded.. it asked to do recovery install or normal install.. on phones, I've always done normal.. so I chose normal. Plus.. this thing has no custom recovery. I found it on Amazon. Overpriced, but great with the controller it had. It looks like I'll need a replacement and maybe a request to ask this guy if he could possibly NOT use something like KingRoot/KingoRoot/AmaraRoot or ANY One click root tool.. they just cause more bloatware, inciting boot issues and problems within the Android box itself. These One Click Root tools are out of control. It's to the point where I need to find a way in to adb and find the firmware for the latest version of this thing... X10Max from Pendoo.. I have not found a thing anywhere regarding firmware, and their website is ****. NOTHING *anywhere* on these things.. hell I'm about to return it as I bought it for $72. I have another one, same model.. wondering if the root method was different. About to boot that up and find out. I'll even swap the board. At this point.. he rooted it.. the WRONG way.. you can MOUNT THE /SYSTEM PARTITION IN RECOVERY. THIS IS ANDROID 9 we're talking about--the recovery supported by API v3.
This can and should have a TWRP custom recovery. If none exists, don't bother. As long as you can mount /system then you have a chance, at least, to root the damn thing.. which is why I'm still messing with it. I have another two weeks to return it. I'll give it another couple of days before I call it off and just switch out the good board for the bad one, return it, then return the other one and just use it until I find a way to use a custom recovery on this thing. There has to be.. unless there is no firmware available in sight (for an RK3318 or 3328, can't tell.. recovery mode says 3328, model name says RK3318. I see no difference at the moment aside from processor naming at this point--maybe speed?)
I'm still a nub with Android TV boxes so don't hold it against me for updating the damn root binary. If I could find a way to just reinstall the entire firmware and delete all previous stuff, I would. It would be worth it to learn. I would then mount /system in recovery and soldier on.
One little issue with this thing.. there's only one USB port that actually works. Same applies for the same exact product, a replication of the same thing.. was a "replacement" that still have/has the same qualities.
I've ranted enough. I vote more research into RK33xx processors and possible custom recoveries. I'm about to look for it based on only the device itself.
Note: Been stuck at boot screen ever since the binary was updated. I felt it was necessary to have a boot manager. I don't know where to even find the firmware. Can.. anyone point me in any direction? Something that MIGHT work on this thing? Android 6 or 7 would even suffice, return or no return, as "stuck on boot screen" will be my complaint. That's.. the actual complaint. I can't just *flash it* like the old days.. and maybe the original Android 9.0 firmware would suffice.. I don't know, but Pendoo.. wouldn't that be preferred?
You will need an SDcard to recover this box. I think the T9 32GB 4GB rom will do the job since its a cut down version.
Make a update SDcard and pop it in and power on the box. It will start the recovery on its own.
hello, sorry for my English I live in France I would have a question about the box: TV T9 RK3318, 4gb / 64gb. the problem is that the time is desynchronized on restart and creates problems to connect to applications when the time is out of order, I tried everything changed the time zone to deactivate and entered the time Manual it goes out of order all the time . is there a custom version or a version 10?
