Question Unlock bootloader and install magisk - Realme GT Master Edition

Hi! I'd like to unlock the bootloader of my RMX3363 and install Magisk.
I have read some of the guides here but they all are installing custom roms.
Which steps should I follow?

Why you want to root your phone?

I need it for ad away and other things

Install DeepTest.apk > unlock bootloader > flash LOS recovery > install Magisk.zip by ADB sideload
or
Install DeepTest.apk > unlock bootloader > extract boot.img from your OFP file > install Magisk.apk > patch boot.img with Magisk > flash patched boot.img
You can find all procedures in this forum.
PS : DeepTest and LOS recovery versions have to match your installed RUI version (3 or 4). For Magisk, take the last version (26.1).

i'd like to boot only LOS recovery instead of flashing it.
is it possibile? how do i do?

If you really only need it for Adaway, why don't you use Netguard? This saves you root and the risk of damaging your device. And you get a firewall on top of that. For all other things like automatic flight mode or anything else, you can use Tasker. Most things now work without root.

Strange to unlock your bootloader and not want to install a custom recovery (keep a stock RUI firmware, I can understand)... If it's to relock your bootloader after rooting, it's a bad idea (it's necessary to flash a stock firmware before relocking the bootloader, to avoid a hard brick).
But if that's your choice (boot.img = file from the LOS recovery ZIP) :
Code:
fastboot boot boot.img
Everything you do is at your own risk, I am not responsible for your actions.

F07 ? You have to wait for custom recovery, developers are working on it. Root access ? You have to extract and patch your F07 boot.img with Magisk.

I had my phone on warranty one day. I totally killed it after flashing a corrupted file. So LG just brought that phone back to life and shipped it back?

Atleast i got TWRP and such working!
Thanks dude!
Your problem seems to be the same as in the following thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/help/unlock-bootloader-n5x-t3290923/page6
Its the same for me after my mainboard was replaced.
I have same situation, warranty changed my motherboard and now I can't fully unlock bootloader. But I find solution how to Root it whit out TWRP.
Thanks to this Phh's root solution.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/wip-selinux-capable-superuser-t3216394
Downloaded https://superuser.phh.me/nexus/bullhead/ su.nocrypt.img
Flashed whit fastboot
After restart install Phh's superuser app!! not chainfires superuser but Phh's. Somehow chainfires app doesn't understand su binary.
But root works whit phh's, installed busybox, root checker apps shows that root is working.
Did full backup whit Flashfire it makes full restore zip which can be used whit fastboot.
Maybe I will not sell this phone..

so flash stock rom whit fastboot whit ph's kernel, don't need stock kernel, after that download ph's app, check if root is working (needs ph's app from playstore, to check if root is working download root checker app), download busybox, set to permissive and flashfire should work, after that you can flash stock rom whit franco kernel and select in flhasfire that it needs to be rooted, after that you should have stock rom whit superuser.
For now I am using stock rom whit superuser and everything works (also otas works perfectly, even updates radio and bootloader, don't need fastboot for that)
Even twrp works but twrp works when it is written from twrp app which is in playstore :good:

also had galaxy nexus :good:
about the downgrade, there isn't newer kernel from phh's website, so thats why you need to downgrade
it needs radio and bootloader from that factory zip (it should boot whit out those two) but I still prefer to flash it, so you will need to do:
fastboot unlock
fastboot flash radio radio.img
reboot the device
again:
fastboot unlock
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
reboot the device
and for last time
fastboot unlock
and flash all the files, don't need to reboot every time, type one command at the line
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash system system.img
oh and don't forget vendor!: fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
and kernel from ph:
fastboot flash boot boot-bullhead-NRD90S-su-nocrypt-r265.img
finally boot to the system :good: I guess you should know how to use fastboot, if not google it

You must flash the oreo Bootloader BRJ6 (only Bootloader BL!) with Odin, restart into system. After that go into Downloader modus and flash the TWRP Image with Odin.
Works everytime on my S9.

3. flash TWRP (twrp-3.2.3-0-starlte ?) with ODIN & go straight (without full reboot) to recovery mode
4. do not allow modification ?
5. wipe data
6. flash No Verify Encrypt zip ? (which version ?)
7. flash RMM Bypass zip ? (which version ?)
8. flash Magisk (latest 18.0 build ?)
Could somebody answer my question marks and post working files? I don't want to wait 7 days more

Help with magisk patched boot image

So I have op7t, with stock oos 10.0.16HD65BA, unlocked bootloader, stock kernel and recovery. Where can I find magisk patched boot image for this deivce and do I need twrp installed? And does it matter if the patched boot image is for global and I have Europe?
I haven't touched these things since op3t and things have changed a lot, and I'm really confused, so feel free to link me about anything related to rooting/installing roms/twrp on this device.

I am due to receive my OP7T in a couple of days and already started reading. I assume oos 10.0.16HD65BA is the latest A10 for 7T.
My goal is to get latest stable Android 10 build for my 1903 EU variant OP7T - Unlock Bootloader, Root with Magisk and then Install No Limits xXx Magisk ROM.
Will appreciate some feedback how to proceed please.
From the post above - it seems that the steps are - Unlock Bootloader, Boot (not flash) TWRP.img , adb push Magisk zip , flash Magisk zip in the loaded twrp and then boot to system.
My doubts -
I have been using adb and drivers for my OP5 - will that old adb and drivers work with OP7T?
Which TWRP.img is recommended
Which version of Magisk.zip can I flash (would v22 be OK?)
Can Magisk be updated via Magisk manager at a later stage?
I assume the system will revert to stock recovery (as TWRP was only loaded, not flashed) - will this cause loss of root?
Have I missed out any crucial points / steps?
Thanks
