Question IMEI's are gone after Android update - OnePlus 11

Hi, I bought my OnePlus 11 from China, it came with OxygenOS into it, and the system identified an update to be performed.
It was working just fine, but after flashing the update the phone no longer identified my sim card and lost the IMEI numbers.
When I dial *#06#, the screen display 'null' to IMEI1 and IMEI2.
In contact to oneplus support, the guy said that I've got the indian version of the firmware, and that's why my IMEI's are lost.
He gave me no solution to my problem, and I really don't know what to do, because in Brazil we have no support.
Please, anyone help me. I'm only using it for 2 days and its completely useless to me without a sim card installed.

I actually never flashed any firmware myself. All I did was installing the new OTA update the phone provided.
Furthermore, now I know that my Phone is a Chinese version and The seller from aliexpress installed a global or indian firmware into it. Is there any form to install a correct firmware and get rid of this problem?

Ola Melvin, have you tried to factory reset your device?
If you have a Chinese OP11 converted to Oxygen11 chances are you shouldn't be able to OTA unless ocdt.img from CPH2449 is being flashed (Please refer to https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ues-after-converting-color-to-oxygen.4583321/ for more details).
My understanding is IMEI is stored on devices only and not affected by OTAs, therefore chances are it's still intact and the problem was caused by a corrupted/unsupported radio firmware. Try to flash the Chinese modem from fastbootEnhance see if that solves your problem.

I've paid a technician who did it for me via remote assistance. It actually fixed the IMEI problem, but now I got a region lock issue.

As are its users buying phones from different regions and from sellers that are flashing different software.
There is plenty of information about chinese version of the phone and what to expect and people still are jumping of f the cliff and after that complaining it was not their fault lol

There are links to kdzs for e975s everywhere so an e977 one shouldn't be that hard to find

After that bull**** on facebook, it`s difficult to believe in LG say. But hopefully it comes out so I can upgrade my baseband. Some ROM already having problem with the old baseband.
LG even updated the crappy G Pro Lite before G Pro and the OG.

People think new=better so yeah, I guess they take priority with even models like that, since those are newer. Your English is fine btw.
Just lost all hope, let's just commit suicide and stop waiting for an update:T
These employees on FB are instructed to say that by LG. Everytime I read a different prediction: july, august, september, 2nd semester and so on. The truh is that they know jack sh*t and people should not believe that, it's actually funny to see those naive people getting excited with those responses. Just install an E975 ROM because we'll die waiting for an Android update. The truth is that only Google and some Motorola phones (Nexus, Moto G/X) are almost guaranteed to receive an Android update.

I emailed them :V but I guess it isn't that much different, did you flash a Kdz? If so which one? I think I'll just go and do the same. Some dude reported losing his imei tho, I have my efs backup but it is still kind of scary when it comes to a kdz file since this is my only phone.
I'm one step away from flashing a SFR kdz, because I think modem will work just out of the box, and a did find any kdz from France or Germany that is not from a carrier. But I'm afraid that flashing a kdz from a carrier will sim lock my GF phone.

I'm on stock ROM. The safest and most stable stock ROM to flash seems to be KK 4.4.2 EUR V20A. I didn't try to install it again because I read some reports that attempting to go back to stock Jelly Bean ROM after flashing this KK ROM fuc*ed the internal memory (can't mount internal SD card), which the only solution is to replace the board. I had my phone board replaced last week because I followed a tutorial which simply didn't work, and I simply don't trust almost any tutorial anymore. Installing custom ROMs on this phone is gambling; even if you're 110% sure you follow the tutorial instructions verbatim, there is a high chances of you'll ending up with a brick only fixed by board replacement.
About losing IMEI, you must indeed have EFS partitions and modem backup (not only on the phone but on PC as well), otherwise it's pretty much impossible to restore the phone's IMEI or get network signal.

Don't blame tutorials for you bricking your phone, instead search and learn everything possible related to that before choosing about do it or not. That's why I flashed only a kitkat custom rom nothing but boot.img and system, all safe with cyanogennod 11 times and efs backups. Tho i don't want to leave stock kk, at least not for other kk. The is just an opinion, if someone disagrees, or didn't like. Well. We all been there so we know why it happened, making this a good thing to print and paste on your head till you understand.
Joke joke joke.

bnd-l21 firmware on bnd-al10?

Sorry for the dumb Question but can i install the bnd-l21 on the bnd-al10 version?
Firmware bnd-l21 on bnd-al10 band?
Have the same thing going here. Have you figured out what's the deal with that? Ive went on a 2 day Google hunt and kinda gave up. If you have learned anything about it, please clue me in. Thank you.
I purchased an honor 7x from geekbuying and it was the bnd al10 phone but it is running the bnd l21 firmware so it must be possible. My concern is now around getting updates for the firmware as I haven't had any OTA updates whatsoever since purchasing the phone in December. I'm in the UK by the way.
I bought it from Amazon.in, but since no update after buy, still on B101, please help , model: BND-AL10
IN my device its written BND- AL10 as model, but here why telling as L-21/L-22 /L-34 whats the relation
My config: Honor 7X, Ram 4GB, Rom: 32 GB
Has anybody tried to stuff an updated AL10 or L21 software on this from the Firmware Finder APP? I have the same thing, L21***B101 inside an AL10 device. No effin' update whatsoever since crap knows when.
Looks like you guys need to get in touch with huawei/honor website(hihonors). Let them know the software's wrong for your model. Maybe they can look up your model by serial no.

I already posted there long ago and not a single response was produced.
Also
I also purchased the BND-L21 from China (Aliexpress) (says AL10 on tag but L21 internal) and no updates. I asked Aliexpress about the difference between AL10 and L21. They said they converted my phone from the AL10, Chinese version to the L21 international version so I guess they're identical. I contacted Huawei and they said I would be getting an update over the next couple months and to check for it every few days. Even though I've only had the phone a short time, I'm very impatient to get the update. Does anyone know where to manually get it?
Full firmware is not available from my knowledge

I think that the full firmware is not still available to download for Honor 7X (I saw many guys complaining about it in the community). If the full firmware is available it will be possible to flash your device.

On the contrary, I contacted Huawei support and they told me that the seller altered the software. They said that the seller installed a custom-ROM on my phone that's why it's not getting an update. The AL-10 model is only for China. I'm finding it hard to believe though. That the seller will alter this software.
What about your phone packet?

Yes
Yes, my phone package had been opened. I asked Aliexpress about that and they said they needed to do that to replace the A10 (chinese) version with the L21 (international) version.
I found a site online where I can get the files to do a manual update. They won't let me post the link here (yet). If I don't get an automatic update within the next week or two I may go ahead with this. I really want the gyroscope to work!

is there a way to set it to the correct number?
There's a way to do it, but any discussion about it isn't allowed on this forum. I guess your current IMEI is blacklisted, isn't it?
In your case I'd return it to the seller.

If you still have the original box or the IMEI written somewhere you can use root to change it but as far as I know it's illegal. I'm not 100% sure if it's illegal in this situation tho.

Hi everybody. I am from India. I to have the same issue for which i had a replacement done. But the new phone also has the same issue in which the imei shows null or only one imei shows and network doesn't work it shows service disabled. This issue happens several times a day to get back the network i have to restart the phone which is very hectic. The technical support team doesn't known anything about fixing the phone.
You should just get the refund.
Strange sittuation here. My G7 got repaired some weeks ago by a official repair center tru t mobile Netherland. They replaced my battery and motherboard. It came with new imei and a sticker on the back of the phone like it was a new one. Also a official report with the new imei and parts that got replaced so if i sell my phone in the future the next buyer is save. I recently even updated without problems
Sent from my LM-G710 using XDA Labs
When i reset(format) the handset ot worked fine for 13 days after that the same problem happened again and still happens

The bnd-l24 part should be the easy part.
The firmwares are here. Both the "bnd" and "bond" are OK to use.
But I recently worked with someone else who did rebrand to USA version, and found out the modems do not work correct on us / western frequency's.
And need to know of the phone is unlocked boot loader or not.

Cannot get system upgrade for G710ULM

I got my new unlocked G7 from ebay. I cannot get any over-the-air software update. I am using it in T-Mobile have no problem of using wi-fi calling, and HD calling.
Its software version is still G710ULM11g, Security patch level is Nov 1, 2018.
The Hardware info: Model number: LM-G710ULM, but the S/N displays nothing in it.
Any suggestion how to upgrade the software?
You need to upgrade manually.your phone most likely was sprint and the seller flashed with ulm software thats why you cannot update ota.
Use this procedure on this thead
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g7-thinq/how-to/cross-flash-oreo-pie-firmwares-lg-g7-g7-t3915303
And flash pie ulm.

Like the others have said, more than likely it was a Sprint phone (g710PM) flashed to a g710ULM. Go to IMEIPro or a similar IMEI checking site, enter your IMEI, and most likely it'll say g710PM. Literally just went thru this 2 days ago with a phone from Ebay, but I'm sending the phone back. Seller never disclosed it and I don't want to bother with some of the potential issues/shortcomings. Like they also said, you should be able to flash other roms on it, but be aware that future over the air updates are not going to happen, and others have had varying levels of success with getting Google Pay to work on the phone. This might be no big deal, but just putting it out there. Good luck dude.

Hi,
I also bought one of the PM to ULM crossflashed phones from eBay.
I managed to flash newest ULM firmware, but still have the missing S/N issue and the phone is not passing Safetynet CTS check. So I can‘t install Netflix on the phone.
Has anybody a solution to fix theses Issues? Manual flashing instead of OTA is no problem, but Safetynet sucks.

re, but still have the missing S/N issue and the phone is not passing Safetynet CTS check. So I can‘t install Netflix on the phone.
Has anybody a solution to fix theses Issues? Manual flashing instead of OTA is no problem, but Safetynet sucks.

How did you flash the latest firmware and are there any side effects besides netflix?
Can you provide a link to the thread if there is one for flashing this.

No S/N, Its a cross flashed variant. Flash manually. But if you wanna fix S/N you have to send it to LG authorized service center:fingers-crossed:
You can use your IMEI to get the right firmware. https://lg-firmwares.com/series/lg-g7-thinq/ search here. Flash it manually using lg up

I tried my IMEI its not in the DB 8(
I searched several different imei sites and didn't gain any success. The ulm I got was straight from a reputable distributor(sealed in box) as a carrier unlocked phone. I'm wanting to get back in to development after about 10 years hiatus.
I have however enabled "OEM unlock" in developer settings on the phone, so that's at least a good step forward.
Ok so guyz...

Well---I went back to 20f because of WiFi calling. I had flashed the Canadian 30d (AWM)--worked very well everywhere but no WiFi calling. I live where there is little to no signal, so........
I would be interested if the EU rom has that......

Well---I could backup the phone & try it.....Happy with the WiFi calling right now, so I'll wait a bit. Would REALLY like to see a ULM 10 upgrade though.......Most of the other models have already got it---why not this one?
did anyone ever figure out how these sellers have ‘new in box’ sealed box g7’s that have 710ULm barcode on the box and all
But are sprint g7 variants
Is this something lg did as a refurb type tactic themself and sent them out
Like sprint overstock and they dumped em off to resellers ....
