Question CDC swap to enable eSim? - Samsung Galaxy A54 5G

I am looking at getting an A54 but the only thing stopping me is no eSim support for the Aus/Oceanic/Asia version. I see that the US version does come with eSim. Am I able to somehow use the Samsung Tool Kit https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ray.samsungtoolkit to change regions and unlock the eSim feature? Or any other ideas on how to get eSim on my regions phone

eSim on Galaxy S20 5G, SM - G 9810.

I recently got the Galaxy S20 5G, SM - G 9810.
The menu item "eSim" is missing in the SIM card management for the mobile phone.
Thought all S20 can also eSim?
Does anyone have any idea how to get the menu displayed?
Maybe with a different firmware? There is firmware from China on it.
Wanted to run an eSim, SD card and another real Sim in the cell phone.

You might have the Hong-Kong or Taiwan model which seems to only support physical sim.

There is Chinese firmware on it. maybe you can change it to another firmware. All S20 should have the eSim. Just locked by the software.

The G9810ZCU1ATCT is on the phone.
The G9810ZCU1ATCT is on the phone. Provider software version BRI. If I put another firmware on it, should the eSim work?

You have the S20 Hong Kong Variant. eSim isn't available on your device and changing firmware from TGY, which is the CSC on your device, to a different CSC usually creates more problems than it solves. The Forum is littered with users who have numerous issues after changing firmware. Firmware is CSC specific so altering this compatibility can have adverse effects. Carrier Aggeration, Wifi Calling, Samsung Pay, Samsung Health, Secure Folder as well as your Warranty may be at risk.
Another option if you want to have Dual SIM and SD Card is adding an adapter. I wouldn't consider that since it's a pretty funky setup.
https://www.simore.com/en/dual-sim-adapter-galaxy-s20-ultra-samsung-speed-zx-twin.html
On my Galaxy S8 I shaved a SIM Card, fixed it to the back of my SD Card to facilitate the setup you're hoping to achieve however Samsung squashed that option on S9's and likely S10's and S20's. I'm curious why you feel eSim is vital? It's much easier just to swap out the SD Card with a SIM when Dual SIM is beneficial.

Which S20 Snapdragon variant can support Nano Sim + eSim + Micro SD? I thought the HK version could do that and was about to buy.

According to Samsung Support, which I would take with a grain of salt, a future update may enable eSim on Snapdragon Devices. The Snapdragon 855 SOC is compatible with eSim as evidenced on the Galaxy Fold and I would think the 865 SOC on the S20's is as well, however at this time I'm not aware of any eSim enabled S20's with Snapdragon SOC's.

Question: Convert US unlocked to EU unlocked

Hello flashers.
Question here.
I have a US unlocked version G781U1/DS. Is it possible to convert to G781B/DS? The reason for this is European B version has dual sim support, whereas apparently it is disabled on US models. Otherwise why would Samsung put DS into model name for U1 and snap in a dual sim tray?
I think both devices have same hardware specs.
Will it work?
Thanks.
No, it will not.

Why would you want to do this? The U1 version is a multi-CSC firmware and should work as needed in any country. I have not been able to secure a FW set for the S20 FE5G as of yet, but if it was available, it could be confirmed or denied that the specific CSC you need is contained within. Again, I'm rather curious about the issue you're facing to lead you to want to do this. Technically, you should be able to flash any Snapdragon CSC that is built for the same device. That is speculative as ive not confirmed this, but that is how it has been historically from the S8 onward
I have tried all CSC versions available in CSC menu, none of them enables dual sim. Note CSC available are most for US carriers like TMB and ATT. There is XAA (international apparently) available as well but does not enable dual sim either.

Enable eSIM feature on Samsung S20+ SM-G986W

Hello Experts,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G purchased in Canada and not associated with any service provider. I am planning to use it in India and I have 2 SIM's in India. Samsung Canada Firmware does not have eSIM feature and there is no SIM Card Manager function in settings. Can I flash any other region firmware and have the eSIM feature enabled ?
The question should b e, does the snapdragon variant support e-sim, cos am stuck with a S20 +5g purchased in usa but no e-sim
Galaxy devices in India are typically Exynos variants which offer eSIM functionality. Flashing different firmware on a Galaxy S Series Snapdragon variant won't enable eSIM. None of Galaxy's Snapdragon variants except The Fold are eSIM capable.

Hi guys, I finally got rid of my G986W. I've converted it to G986U1:
Firmware: https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G986U1/TMB/G986U1UES3GWA2
SAMFW Odin Flash: https://samfw.com/blog/samfw-frp-tool-1-0-remove-samsung-frp-one-click
Just flash firmware with included Odin Flash (Add all files except HOME_CSC and don't use USERDATA.
I've flashed and my S20+ reborn as a true phone with eSim functionality and etc.

It does, bit esim is disabled in Canada, by soft. Instal U1(xaa) instead of W soft, esim will be enabled.
Have u tried installing a Esim? Is it working fully?

all s20+ 5g should support esim. (esim is inegrated to a snapdragon chip) BUT some of them are dissabled by software. but such a models like 986U or 986V, for example, were lock by operator and you could not install a software from U1, that includes esim support. i might be wrong. i installed U1 soft to a 986W model (that was without esim support. Now, esim works perfect. s20+ updates online. samsung pay works correct, knox works as well)

Extract esim related stuff from Note 20 T-Mobile firmware?

T-mobile firmware for Note 20 has enabled esim for some time and there is still no information on US unlocked s20 or s21. Is it possible that someone find the main difference between unlocked note 20 firmware and t-mobile note 20 firmware? If it is just a package/app, maybe we can extract it and install it on our own to see if that enables esim?

Even if one could extract and install the e-Sim related code it still requires e-Sim activation by the service provider. Very unlikely T-mobile would make an exception without Samsung's acquiescese.

It's not about the big four three. There are plenty of esim service providers which you can find on esimdb.com. Enabling esim allows people to have more choices of plans.

Anyway to enable Esim on SM-S9080 (S22 Ultra Taiwan Varient)

I tried everything:
Changing CSC : Only 3 CSC available and none have esim
Tried to flash other Firmware: Tried to flash US, Global Vairent but Odin always failed
And many more solution but i reached no where.
Please help me, it'll mean a lot. Have my Esim and now can't use it!
If anyone with rooted device and with multiple CSC can send me their optics folder would be really amazing!
I got the Galaxy Fold 1 on Feb 2020 in Saudi Arabia. It was the best phone I've ever had. Not being able to use the e-sim was annoying the hell out of me. However, after one of the updates, the functionality for (SIM Manager) was activated and I was able to add an e-sim card. I did nothing! One of the updates enabled it. Now, I have Fold 3 and e-sim support is enabled by default from day one.
