Lose of gyro control while playing games - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Guides, News, & Discussion

Sometimes it just happens, rarely and randomly. Makes a gyro aimed game useless. The figure 8 recal doesn't resolve it. Solution?
Simply invert the display. It will then work normally and will continue to work in the normal position in the next game. Stupid simple easy

Touch screen stops working

I'm the [almost] happy owner of a Defy whose digitizer, from time to time, stops working or goes crazy.
The "goes crazy" part it's obvious and it only happens in Angry birds. The game keeps on zooming in and out like, beside the finger that I am putting on the screen, there's an invisible one that shifts on the screen. Seems to be app related as this doesn't seem to happen in any other app.
On the other hand, from time to time, the digitizer seems to stop out of nothing. I haven't noticed any particular pattern on this but it might be driver/app dependent too.
Both of these situations are resolved with a blanking of the screen (top button).
Does anybody else have this kind of problems? Any idea where is the problem?
PS: If I get any more patterns I'll get back.
Yes, very rarely. Screen will not respond and have to time out screen and then it's fine. Usually happens while on charger.
I have trouble with most multi-touch games. After a while, the screen stops responding. Sometimes if I release my touch temporarily it will work again, but by then I'm dead or have crashed Not sure if it's just my fingers sweating onto the screen or something!!
I tried the multi-touch tester app in the market, and it tracks two touches without a problem; so it only seems to happen during games.
eg
Gun Bros
Mini Squadron
The multitouch tester also does the bug. Just try to simulate playing in the tester and you'll see sometimes one finger not responding. But I think there are very few phones with perfect touch screen for playing games. So not a big bug for me.

[Q] Possible to reset the Accelerometer or Touchscreen?

I have 2 annoyances with my Xperia Play -
1) The Accelerometer is off-level. When i start an accelerometer game, the thing affected by the accelerometer normally starts to tilt forwards. I need to angle the phone to make it "level" properly. Games that can reset the accelerometer work fine obviously, since i can reset it, but games that do not have that option are unplayable as everything tilts the wrong way and is not level.
Anyway i can reset the accelerometer?
2) Sometimes when i touch the very right hand side of the screen in landscape mode, the left hand side of the screen activates. Very annoying when typing as wrong letter appear. And some games get annoying. Any way to reset the touch points of the touchscreen?
Also, does the Xperi Play have a Gyroscope? some say yes, others say no. If yes, can i perform a reset on this too?
Thanks for any answers.
Most games are made that the neutral position is under an angle and not when the device is flat. This is done because most often you hold the phone in your hands a bit before you and you look at it from above with an angle. I don;t know of a way to reset this.
Also I don;t know how to calibrate the touchscreen. You can use this app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1045374 to check where the touchscreen is faulty.
Hi, I have a similar problem with xperia x8. When playing e.g. the 'Falldown' game from the market, the ball goes to the left in neutral position. It's quite annoying...

asphalt 7 gyroscope control

I'm experiencing a weird.. problem when I play asphalt 7. When I set the control scheme to A(gyroscope) in the middle of gameplay, the car just starts turning left. And it's not in a mild degree. It just basically starts to turn left and hug the left wall and becomes nearly uncontrollable. I doubt that this is my hardware because asphalt 6's gyroscope controls or any other games of that matter have no problems with controls whatsoever. any ideas?

Compass Calibration - Help!

I've installed both the 3d Compass app and the CompassX app, both great apps, the 3d Compass is awesome - however, after restarting the watch every day, the Compass reads zero, I try moving it in all 3 axes with rotation and figure of eight motions, but nothing happens, then eventually it kicks in and works, but there is no rhyme or reason to what I'm doing to suddenly start working. After that it continues to work until I restart the watch. Can anybody shed light on this, what is the most effective way to calibrate this thing, or what is triggering it to start working? It's driving me nuts!

Huwawei smartwatch screen sometimes goes full black

Hello,
My huwawei smartwatch sometimes turns off its screen automatically to full black, not the screens saver mode. So I need to touch my watch again to get the display on again.
What can I do about it?
Thank you for reading,
Genezing
This is a new energy saving feature. It will switch off the display if the watch doesn't move for a certain time. I also experience this sometimes, especially when playing with my Playstation. I usually rest my arms and mainly move only my fingers while playing. This causes my watch to go to sleep.
Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. But it should not happen during normal activities, when you move your arm from time to time at least a little.
Happens to me when playing games, I figured it had to be some energy saving tech., glad to hear confirmation.
