Question Xiaomi 11T low sound (speakers) - anything to try? - Xiaomi 11T

Hi.
Just bought a used Xiaomi 11T 5G, thatworks great in all ways except speaker volumen.
I've searched through posts about volumen here, but couldn't find any of the subject.
Audio (music) is loud, using Bluetooth is okay, but when calling and using speakers the volumen is way to low.
I've tried what I could find on the internet, from "use a toothbrush" over div settings to change location to USA + reboot.
Nothing seems to help.
The eq settings are not doing any difference for speaker calls.
I was about to try to use the 14.0.4 ROM last night, but suddently that version was available by update!
No difference at all
Any version, ROM, tweak, mod or whatever I can do to bring life into the speakers?
Sorry in advance if this is not the right place to post
(Totally noob about this.. sorry)

Accoustic Parameters

Anyone know how set accounstic parameters works?
I am trying to adjust the fact that full volume on the Phone via the speaker is fine, but then when I listen to music via the wired headphones, I have to turn it dwn to say 35%, then I get a call and volume jumps right up to max and it sound slike the other person is shouting right in my ear.
(Ok that is probably the effect the wife is trying to achieve, but even so....)
I was wondering if this can be achieved by tweaking the set accoustic parameters files.
The first hurdle seems to be that a different file is used per operator - how do I know what my operator ID is?
If anyone can help or make any other suggestions I would be most grateful.

doesn't really help and relates to bt headphones?
Bump? Anyone?
OK really no one knows anything? Just give me a few hints about how this all worls and I will tr and find time to play around with it and work out the rest.
IIRC set accoustic parameters runs on the first setup ? Does it run each soft reset ?
Any info would give me a useful starting point.
Cheers

How to increase BT audio ?

Hi all I went through endless posts and realized many people complain about the BT audio quality during calls being too low. But it seems no one has found a reg edit to play around with the volume control. It this still the case ?
I am using a Moto S9, the stereo sound is excellent, but the call auto is far to low...

Try the fixs that shogunmark has here. I use them both, and have excellent clear, loud sound with my Jawbone on my Tilt.
Hey Cushcalc, wow thanx! So I suppose when installing that volume.cab it just changes a reg setting, but you dont actually find an application where you change the volume, right ? cause I canĀ“t find it anywhere after installing....
I will soon post, what the result is!

Ways to improve the speakerphone/general volume level?

Hello,
I find that the headphone amplifier is very anemic compared to the iphone 5 (sorry that's what I am used to).
Surpisingly, it makes a difference to me regarding the sound quality from the device.
Also, the speakerphone sounds very quiet, as does the GPS voice in google maps.
Are there any volume related tweaks on the way for the Z1c?
Otherwise I'm pretty pleased with this device.
Confused now lol! Just last week I saw a thread someone made complaining about the volume being too loud. Now I saw this one complaining it's too quiet lol!
Anyways there's a volume mod posted in this forum. It should boost your volume louder than normal.

Hey, you can flash this mod:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/themes-apps/mod-extra-volume-boost-increase-t2302748
I'm using it right now :good:
I have an XPERIA Z though. I would do a CWM backup (not sure if you guys have this yet) and then flash this mod. If all is well your problem is sorted!

Is there any real audio issue with Mi Max (Prime)?

Premise: I know I just opened another topic (but this is a completely different question) and that there are several articles (and potential "fixes") around on XDA and elsewhere, but I see people having the following issues and others not (especially in reviews)
Hi everyone,
I have a simple question: is Mi Max Prime suffering from low sound volume (i.e. below the average)? if yes, is that probleme so severe that - for example - you may not hear the alarm clock or a phone call in speaker mode?
I know there are a couple of fixes around but I also saw many people not solving the issue with those.
Thank you in advance

For me is ok, not problem at all. Not best, not the more strong, but good.

Thanks for your answer.
Would you say the sound is possible to hear from some distance? (like a few meters or another floor)

Thanks again for your answer.
I'd say, testing any alarm (default one should work) and a pop song music (at your choice).
Here too is night. Feel free to do it when you have a moment
I'm a good guy to ask. Quite deaf, use my phone for an alarm clock. I can hear people when they "force" their voice in close proximity, otherwise break out the pen and paper if I don't have fresh hearing aid batteries.
Alarm clock (alarmy) scares me so bad I try to beat my rise time just to turn it off. Loud, oh hell yea, it's loud.
Talking on the phone I can just make out sounds, without my hearing aids. That's says good things about the phone, because normally I get nothing.
You can always root and edit the mixer_paths in system_ect. Done it many times on my Samsung phones, but as I say, no need (for me) on the Max.
Just got a Mi Max a few days ago, the ring volume I will call it just enough, The only issue is when I hear music with headphone and turn on the Mi Sound effect then the volume will drop a lot, I need to turn off the effect and re-plug the headphone to resume the volume.
The volume has gotten better since Miui 8 and it's good on my RR ROM. YouTube is hit or miss depending on the video you watch. A lot of videos are uploaded with low sound and some with louder sound. Everything else seems okay to me although nothing compares to the sheer loudness of the speakers on my Nexus 6P.

Hi i have a question. Could someone tell me where to edit files that increase the headphone volume output? I had Mi 5X and it was in system/etc/mixer_path but in 9se i dont see anything like this, i would like to increase headphone volume cause on Miui eu its lowered than in global.
Thanks for replies and any help !!
