The reason I made this forum was because the forum has an explanation to use the HTC Launcher as well as may of the HTC features to include blinkfeed which functions great. But all I really wanted was the weather and it's really simple. I did some playing around to see exactly what I needed to get it to function.

Installation:
1. Download HTC Weather Animations zip file
2. Go Here to download HtcServicePack.apk and Weather.apk
3. Copy the APKs to your SD Card

Note* - It will determine location if you have wifi / battery saving GPS enabled. It all works great for me. Hope this is something people actually want.
APP SETTINGS & TROUBLESHOOTING:
1. Setup Weather Settings
To edit these settings, click the 3 dot menu in the top right and ensure Auto detect my location is on. I just prefer 2 hrs, but you can set it up however you like. Do not add Weather to be blocked by Servicely, Greenify or disable location requests with AP OPs. See Screen Shots below to help with Troubleshooting

Hey
My weather animations work when I open up weather but the animations on the clock itself or the home screen/lock screen don't work...
What did I do wrong?

The clock and lock screen are LG Weather, just configure LG Weather on the lock screen and you will be good to go!

I only set up the OP for HTC weather, so when you open weather, you see the animations... You are asking for information that is not even part of what the thread is about... There is no HTC flip clock in this forum... Literally just weather... There is a thread dedicated to porting the HTC elements to work.. This is weather app only

OK so got everything working except the animations. Could the installation be different for marshmallow? I unzipped and placed the weather folder into the android folder and restarted phone but still no animations or sound.

Works nicely on the LG G5, thanks.

Made an updated flashable.zip. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=67947183

The server is down. Does any one know where to find these APK's? needed on step 2.
editL: it was found on link listed on previous post.

[GUIDE] HTC Sense Clock On Any ROM

HTC Sense Clock On Any ROM
**Note that in this tutorial I will be teaching you how to get the HTC Sense Clock on any ROM using a simple and noob friendly method. I am not responsible for any pirated software used during this method nor will I support it. Please use the market apps for this method. Applanet steals apps from the developers and is a illegal step to the method and xda-developers don't support this.
Are you trying to get this? then follow these steps!
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Step 1: Go to your Market App and search for the app Fancy Widgets Pro and download it.
(Before you proceed this app costs US$1.99 and with out the Pro version this method will not work correctly!)
Step 2: After the download has finished launch the Fancy Widgets Pro app and follow the next few steps.
Step 3: Start by going to Appearance Settings --> Widget Style and selecting Flip Clock if not already selected.
Step 4: Now you want to go back once and go to Clock Skin. From here you will need to go to the All Tab and find "H7C Clock" which is the last clock on the list. Download and apply this Clock Skin.
Step 5: Once you have all of this applied you will need it to act more like the HTC Sense Clock, So now you will go back once and go to Weather Skin. From here you will need to go to the All Tab and find "H7C Weather" which is the second last from the bottom of the list. Download and apply this Weather Skin.
Additional Methods ---> If you want this clock to act more like the HTC Sense clock were it acts as a launcher, you can change this in the settings. You can have the clock launch things like Deluxe Moon, Weather Channel, Calenders. etc.
------------------------------------------------
**If you have any questions or problems with this method please inform me here on xda-developers. If you think this method helped a little or could help others in the future, please support me by thanking me with the Thanks Button or informing your friends who have the same problem. Thanks! VS4 <3

Bro u know any way by which we can make sure that the screen won't unlock by pressing the home button. Cos I installed agile lock and when I hit the home button it unlocks. Also my beautiful widget unlock animation stops working with agile clock.
I don't mean to change the topic, but with more attention to this project here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1217752 we might actually get a working sense rom ! spread the word haha

Go to Agile lock settings and check wheather animations after unlock if at all you missed checking it.If that doesnt work, follow below.
uninstall agile lock and reinstall.
As an alternative, clear the data and cache of Agile lock and restart your phone.
Then configure the agile lock.
It should work fine then.

ICS Digital Desk Clock as a Widget

In the stock ICS alarm settings from the stock analogue clock widget you can access a digital "desk clock" mode. If you long touch this desk clock, the screen goes black and you get a very sleek blue version.
members.iinet.net.au/~trinityjayone/ICSclock1.png
I have scoured the web and downloaded countless digital clock apps looking for something that achieves this blue digital clock in widget form. One widget came close ( market.android.com/details?id=com.eightsoft.ICSDigitalClock ), but it has a background that can't be removed and the text doesn't even fit into it properly.
Anyone know of a widget that fits the bill? Am I better off just working out how to make it myself?
Try HD Widgets. it has exactly what you want, with many digital clocks, weather and background options.

Sorry, perhaps I wasn't 100% clear. I'm after a clock that looks identical to the screenshot I posted. Same font, same colour (or the options to set it up as such).
it may not be exactly the same, but i think it's the closest one available at the moment.
If you find wt you looking for please share it with us here as i also like that blue lock clock.
with minimalistic text
In the zip is a .mtpref File. (make a restore wit minimalistic text[free])
fonts: AndroidClock.ttf, Roboto-Regular.ttf
if you mean this
Indeed it is...and I did try Minimalistic Text but I have no idea how to go about inserting different fonts into it. Perhaps if you could dumb it down a notch for me?

1. Create new folder on sd card called 'fonts.' Make sure there are no subfolders within it - just the actual true type font files.
2. Pick folder 'font,' not specific sub font, in the global settings for font selection.
3. Under each text type on each widget - normal, accented, nonaccented - you must select the font, the list should populate when you do as above.
Argh so easy! Don't know how on Earth I missed the "choose fonts" folder before. Thank you kind sir!

I have no idea how to get minimalist text widget onto home screen. No long press for widgets in ICS.
Anybody know how I can get this to work? I installed the app from market but they don't appear in the widgets section...
EDIT: Seems it takes time for newly installed widget apps to populate the widget section. I see them after a while.

[How-To] Android 4.3 Lockscreen - Adding Widgets

Android 4.3 Lockscreen - Adding Widgets/Creating your own Lockscreen
The Android 4.3 Lockscreen is an enigma. For those of you that have it figured out, good for you.
For the rest of us... some things just take a little longer.
- Transparent Weather Clock by Droid27 pictured for demonstration
Step 1. Settings/Lockscreen/Multiple widgets - Check this option
Step 2. Lock the phone
Step 3. Unlock the phone, place your finger near the top and HOLD and swipe down the screen (and release). You should see the Lock symbol at the bottom.
{

}
Step 4. Swipe right until you see the + symbol (You can have multiple lockscreens configured).
Step 5. Add your widget.
Step 6. Press the Lock symbol to save. This is my finished product.
How to make your new lockscreen the default lockscreen:
1. Open locksceen
2. Swipe down like above notes
3. Swipe right to get to your new lockscreen
4. HOLD AND DRAG the entire screen over to the very right of the screen, it will start to scroll right. Let it finish until it is now the HOME lockscreen.
(the lockscreen position indicator at the bottom will move as it drags also until the home icon is highlighted as default, then you can release)
Good idea to write it out. I'll admit that I have never even bothered setting anything but lock screen wallpaper because this is about what I thought was involved, lol, and I "pick my battles" for what to figure out.

I got tired of staring at just the clock and it was hard to find any information on the new 4.3 lockscreen because you can't really add anything to it, you have to create a new one.
Edit: And OMG, that clock weather widget has a ton of neat stuff you can customize the look of the widget with too.
Transparency level, darkness, fonts, icons, notifications, what info displays etc...
Nice write up :good: .

There's a difference between the Multiple Widgets and Lockscreen Widgets.
The Multiple Widgets enables multiple lockscreens where you can add an app shortcut or third party widget and the Lockscreen Widgets doesn't really enable third party widgets, just a few very limited things. I posted a screenie of the sub-menu it provides.
