T-Mobile supports 7,25 1700/1900
So it wont.

No tmobile lte. Bands aren't supported. But you should still get service. At least HSDPA I believe.

NO its not about having LTE its about which band the phone supports and if your area supports the same band. The Korean phone does not support the T-Mobile bands.

Ask you T-Mobile related questions here: http://support.t-mobile.com/message/283148
I posted asking about the ATT version but you can see in T-Mobile's reply is shows what bands they do/don't support. Hope this helps.

It needs to be 3845#*850# because its the D850 not the 855
My M7 had an option to switch from LTE auot to WCDMA/GSM Auto - no such luck on the G3?
LTE at work is so over saturated I get better speeds on WCDMA but I can't get my phone to switch besides doing the dialer method.

Tasker should be able to do this for you if the magic menu does not. You can even configure Tasker to automatically sense cell phone towers at work and convert to WCDMA, then auto-switch back to LTE once you are no longer in the vicinity of the cell phone towers. Just one of the many, many amazing and useful things Tasker can do for you.

I have LG G4 F500L model (and I guess it is the South Korean model).
Could you please let me know how can I select network options like 2g, 3g, 4g in the settings. I can't find such options.

You can try using an app like LTE Discovery but normally manually switching the band your phone is connected to requires that your phone be rooted and I'm not sure it's possible on newer versions of Android even if you do have root access.
Resetting your network connection or putting your phone in airplane mode for 5 minutes then turning airplane mode off might result in a better network connection since it will be refreshed.
However, phones are usually programmed to default to the strongest network signal rather than the fastest so you might end up back on the same band even though you are unhappy with the speed.

Open the Phone dialer and enter ##3282# (##DATA#)
Then click Edit
Then enter the MSL which is 000000 (6 zeros)
Then click LTE
Then click Band Priority
Select the band giving you problems and move it to the bottom of the list.( By assigning it the bottom priority number which in my case is 18.)
I added screenshots with the options circled

They're primarily LTE now like everyone else. HDVoice (VOLTE), and RCS via Android Messages app. They're moving to all 4G and eventually 5G whenever there network owner King Street Wireless starts building it.
Switched to Sprint for the faster speeds otherwise they do work good in the middle of nowhere.

Yes the code ##3282# definitely only works on Sprint firmware which is a clusterf*ck of CDMA/WiMax/LTE mess. lol
It's one of the last carriers in the US (and MetroPCS) where you have to call them every time you want to move your sim card to another phone, because they have to "update" your MEID/IMEI in their network.
Oh, and that LTE priority band settings only applies to Sprint sim cards, as soon as you change it to another carrier, those settings are not being utilized at all.
