I'm using embedded Visual Basic 3.0 with the SDK for Pocket PC 2002
I have a program which creates an ADOCE database.
Seems like people having XDA can not create the DB.
Would it be their running Pocket PC Windows CE and not the
Pocket PC 2002 thing?
Is there a SDK for the o2 XDA that I could download and use with
MS eVB 3.0.
I'm quite unfamiliar with O2 xda using a Fujitsu Siemens
Pocket Loox 600 running Pocket PC 2002 myself

How can I capture the XDA within my asp program? I want to be able to offer restricted functionality to an XDA user.
If it's a web application then you can use the browser info... It's not very only XDA but Pocket Internet Explorer 2002 browsers only.

Nope. Toshiba is not in the PDA industry anymore and it's pretty sure they won't release any updates for the e740 series.

no. well not that i know of. i suggest just upgrading ur device to 2005 using helmi's version with the new increased page pool or whatever.
to be honest it runs as quick as 2003se on my b.a and it runs all 2005 software, etc.

Free alternative is Embedded Visual C++,but IMHO it needs much more experiences with object programming,but if you understand the principle,it is also good to develop something. Actually,it is designed for old WM2003,but apps developed there are working also under newest WM versions. Additionally to evC++ you do need WM 6.1 SDK with emulators and latest ServicePack for evC++.
Main problem there is,that the emulator for WM5+ doesn't work directly with evC++ and it cannot connect to the device directly via ActiveSync(because since WM5 it is using TCP/IP communication instead of regular serial as before). However,these are minor problems.
