[Q] HTC Desire NO USB CONNECTION, NO SOUND S-ON NOT ROOTED

Hello. I searched forum thoroughly and I couldn't find solution for my problem.
I have HTC Desire, and the sound is not working at all, media and calls. mic is not working, no service, and there is no usb connection.
I changed speaker and microphone, tried different cables, usb ports and computers, it only charges. I turned on usb debugging, and chose disk drive in "connect to PC options and still nothing. I took my phone to servis and they said that it's bricked and that nothing can be done. I've been trying to fix it for weeks now, and at one point I got usb connectivity, but then I lost it when I restored factory settings.
Please help if you can.

HTC One M8 looping in Reset screen. No PC connectivity. Just after Update ?

Hi,
Iv a HTC One M8. Its stuck in the Android Recovery screen.
I noted it queued a system download today and started when I was on WiFi but then queued this when I left for work. I think it did more when data was on and it looks like completed this evening and rebooted.
I was not watching this but left in my bag as was attending parents evening.
Iv tried the options of reboot, connecting to a PC etc just keeps coming back to this screen. Devastated as was a christmas present so only a month old.

Connecting to the PC using the original cable nothing, different ports etc nothing. using different cables nothing, and these cables worked fine with my old HTC one+ no problems.
It seemed to download and apply existing updates OK.
Any ideas gratefully accepted.
Many Thanks Abbie
My mate just gave me a a M8 to fix with this issues, I actually found this post by searching the cid-111111111 in google. Strange CID. Don't really want to root the phone, going to try and side load it somehow.

thanks

Unit not connecting to mobile network on startup.

Hi,
This is my first post here, but I did search and couldn't find any relevant results, so here goes...
I recently installed a Zeepin DY7098 in my car. It seems to be a MTCD unit, as far as I can tell.
The details I managed to find are as follows:
Android version: 6.0.1
Baseband version: SF3GR_M-26.3_cpeg_rk_r2p_bc2_20160629_111639
Kernel version: 3.14.0+ [email protected] #15 Wed Jun 21 20:17:52 CST 2017
Version: sofia3gr_car_64_userdebug_6.0.1 MMB29M eng.hct.20170705.123915 release-keys
MCU version: MTCD_LM_V2.55_1 Jun 23 2017 13:42:21
The unit has a built in 3G modem and a SIM card slot. I've bought data for the SIM card and installed it. I can enter settings and connect to the mobile network automatically, but I have to do it every time I start the unit. Fast boot is enabled, and it has constant power, so it only takes about five seconds to boot.
What can I do to get the 3G modem to connect to the default network on startup?
Thanks in advance!
/Fredrik
Edit: No replies, but no worries! I entered tha admin settings of the unit, changed the boot logo and when it made a full reboot, somehow the connection started working as intended.
