How do you become a senior member without knowing the rules? go to the thread, read the post, see the part that says that it may work on other devices but it is geared to the HTC TyTN II and then slap yourself...
I thought I was dissapointed when a certain BlackBerry forum went all universal for most devices, but this place rocks, as long as you 1) Read before posting. 2) OBEY THE RULES!
Now grant it this don't belong here, but I would be interested in this app, I searched, and can't find it, where is this post?

For those of you who don't know, both of the questions in those two threads have been answered umpteen times in the Hermes WM6 Forum. What really impressed me was the way this Peti_ (who is probably a mod in disguise) dealt with them. No whining about searching using Google, no RTFW, he just answered the question and locked the thread. Bravo.

I really don't understand... It says "Senior Member" in your nick, and you still don't now how to use search button... Nice...
I don't think he really "applied" for that title. It's given to members automatically as soon as they have posted 200 times if I remember correctly. Or should we all put "Newbie" in our signatures as I did to clarify that we don't feel that senior yet?

Personally i Would thx you both because I never take a look on "artemis upgrade" part of forum but just on "Artemis mobile 6" because this is the most active part of artemis section so if he didn't post here I'll perhaps see it but in a few moments when all the people had change it in their signature.

Y_bother, elegantly corrected his post, but i think your post is totally useless.
As a senior member u show know better, that all of us users should read before posting.
ARTEMIS MOBILE 6, ARTEMIS UPGRADING, discover the differences.
I tell u that radio 3.34.90 works with wm5 also.

Maybe we should all dedicate at least a week to intensely answering questions here and ignoring them in the dev section. perhaps people would get it. or maybe punish them for posting in the wrong forum (i know some forums have a probation setting so you don't have to ban them, they just can't post for a certain amount of time or something)
Most people posting in the wrong section are here for quick answers and prob dont read the site too much. You won't change anything, there are hordes of them.
Morph, this is a forum. This is where everyone anonymously shows how less awesome they are than you. Each post should increase your awesomeness.
It's hard to deal with but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. lol
Oh and as long as there are new people who don't read the rules we will always have this problem. Sounds like the probation suggestion might be a way to battle this problem.

Honestly, just no one should answer any questions that are created in the Dev section. The only thing that should be posted if one is made is that it is not in the correct forum. People always complain that "people are so mean", thats not the case. It's about reading the rules and using common sense.
You post a QUESTION in the Q&A section, no one can be "mean" about you posting it there, thats why we have a Q&A forum... for questions that need answers.
I managed to crack the glass on my GSM (GT-i9250) Galaxy Nexus.
Can I disassemble a Sprint (SPH-L700) Galaxy Nexus and use its screen on my GSM one?
no. cables are in different places.
And please use the search function, it have been answered at least 3 times.

I've searched before posting, and only found it answered in response to different combinations - I didn't find any "Sprint->GSM" post.
For example, this guy even managed to do it (CDMA->GSM) even if not perfectly:

Point of the link you posted is to warn others not to do it unless they want to do some heavy modding. I'm willing to bet the end results ain't pretty, even though it works, i won't call it perfect.
