but i had stuck in my computer I stoped flashing but my mobile is not working and not charging
it's not macking boot loade mode

Hi bro, hold on the voice-dail button (record button), & hold the power button at the sametime. then wait several seconds, you'll get the multi-color screen.
now it's time to plugin the usb for upgrading or recovering.
I met the problem that it always failed when the progress was 3%. i downloaded several roms from internet. how could i know which rom is correct for my device(p800 in China). Besides, my device could just enter the boot mode, so it's impossible to unlock spl for it.
and The worst thing is that there are several hours(not minutes) between each time to power on it. It means i should wait 1 or 2 or 3 hours (who the hell know) to re-flash it after i was failed to flash previously.
is anybody had the same experience. that's really make me crazy.

Hi,
you've removed the microSD, right?
If yes, did you try with the original ROM for the P3300?
p800=p3300, but i'm not 100% sure...

I have the same problem with my P3300.
The problem is that the phone do not start and I cant put in the cooked rom because I did not make the Uspl when it was still alive.
Is it possible to USPL the rom also if is not connected whit activesync?

I had the original ROM, but now the phone is broken, if I try to switch it on the system go in crash in few seconds.
i tried to put in in bootloader mode (colored screen), but i can not load in ROM because the process crash when is at 3%, can I USPL the ROM from the sd card or when is off?

Are you sure that have you removed the SD card when you flash?

somebody please help ... just flashed my xda exec with the latest rom and now it won't start... When trying to hard reset it and just after pressing "0" in the white screen it won't boot... I plug in the mains charger and the orange light won't show either (so I can't know if it's charging). I'm not quite sure but I suspect that the main battery's red plastic lock-switch was in the "unlock" position during the flashing (but the battery was 100% full just before). Is that relevant ? Could this have drained the backup battery and that's the reason that it won't boot now ?? please help...

hello there..i've also got the same problem....i've download he rom update software from 02 uk...after install in my exec...and hard reset..it hang in the boot screenn...

i've also got the same problem...i've update the rom after dwnloas the rom software update from o2 uk....after suceesfull install to my exec...i've hard reset as per instruction.....but..it just hang in the boot screen mode...

... what's the "bootloader mode" ??... (it's not documented in the user guide, is that a sequence after pressing 2-3 buttons together or something like that ?)
Put the Universal in bootloader mode by pressing Power + Light + Reset, which brings up an un-backlit screen with "Serial" at the top, and "v0.XX" at the bottom. (A lot of people get an error message if they are not in bootloader mode. They can install the ROM a second time. If you are in bootloader mode, you won't get an error message.)

dear kumar..i've tried for a few times...eventually i've tried to reinstall using the old rom..but its still hang....
i've contact o2 custpmer support ..they asked me to send it to the service centre...then i ask how to send and the charge would be (eventully i'm in malaysia right now) but they ask me to call the service and warranty centre personnally..
i've called them but the line was so bad and can't hear them clearly. Even so i've given my email address for them to email me their correct address for me to sent it..and their email address for me to communicate..but until now..no news....
please help me sir!!!

What ROM did you guys flash? My suspicion is rising that one of the new AKU3.2 ROMS is the culprate, and that there is something wrong with one of them.

hi.. i had installed WM6 on my o2 exec, i dont know why but had some signal issues with it, so i tried to roll back to 1.30 from the official O2 site... 1st time i tried to update, the PDA got reset just at the begining of the checking process... i tried again 2nd time this timed it just died.. now hard reset as well as the bootloader both just get stuck at the same damn screen "Seria" on top and "1.00" at the bottom.. i've kept the piece on charging for several hours now... no matter what i do, nothing happens.. just the same screne for hrs and hrs and hrs.. i removed the battrey and put it back... stil the same screen... someone pls advice... its just breaking my heart..
trouble with rom update
Like Acer, my device has a trouble with the rom too. In this case, I'm trying in bootloader mode but the rom doesn't instal. The first screen shows only the rom which is going to upgrade and when instalation finishes nothing was upgraded. Can you help me?

Now, my Uni cannot boot at all
I have tried to enter to bootloader ..... but it still does not work at all

I do not know how, but now my Uni work again
and now, I install Pdaviet 2.10.10
It's working now .....
I had the same problem, i had to send it to the O2 repair canter, they fixed it, but was returned with out the up grade, now im afraid to re-try.

Got the same problem here after using PDAVIET...
No upgrade working
This happens with the uni sometimes regardless of rom. Remove the battery wait 5 minutes enter bootloader and reflash. If it doesnt work reflash again just the CE os rom. It will kick out in one of those. It usually helps to flash to operator stock rom first then back to wm6 or cooked WM5. (You have not hurt the device, the uni is a picky girl but always comes back

So I launched the updating program, clicked next several time, then answered 'YES' to the warning message on the PDA, the program stops on the instant saying:
[ERROR 246] DEVICE NOT RESPONDING
battery is 100%, USB is connected. Don't really know what is the problem. It happens with ALL cooked ROMs in any language

I've a HUGE problem now.
Something goes wrong in the updating process. Now my P3600 is stuck at splash screen.
Completely frozen at the power up!!!
What can I do now ? Can I use (power+camera+reset) in order to retry the ROM update ?

Press power+voice speed dial button together and soft reset.
Then connect USB and flash the shipped ROM

I can't do nothing! It's stuck!? omg! people help me to resolve this!? I try up a new rom but isn't work cause the phone don't connect with windows to change or execute other program, cause the phone are stuck on boot screen!

Here's what you need to do:
Hold down the "Volume Down" button and press reset with the stylus. You will enter the Boot Loader. Now plug in your USB cable connecting it to you PC. On the bottom part of the screen (phone) you'll see USB. Now your PC recognizes the phone.
Start a ROM update through the RUU executable and flash your phone with a different ROM.

i have the same problem where my phone freezes at the boot screen, where it says touch diamond and thw orange writing in the corner. It was working fine, happened all of a sudden after i soft reset it, when the phone initally froze on an incoming call
Any suggestions?

I think not. Don't know if you have a lot of apps installed after flashing. What you could do is find a ROM that's UC2/sUC compliant. If you create a folder structure on your internal storage like this:
ROOT > Backup and Restore > CAB > CABi
Put all the cabs you want on your device in the CAB folder and all the cabs you want on internal storage in CABi folder. After flashin and initial customization you will find yourself in User Customization (UC). It will state that it found a CAB folder, choose to install. After this it will state that it found a CABi folder, install as well. This reduces the effort of installing all apps after a hard-reset. As for messages, contacts e.g. I suggest you use PPCPimBackup.

Try flashing through bootloader. Press reset with stylus while holding volume down. After you're in the bootloader plugin USB cable and start flashing.

tried and didnt work. made it worst in fact :S
startet update trough bootloader, started, updated to 13% and then I was told the update didnt work with my device (or something similar, in norwegian). tried an older update, same problem... :/
when I now boot the phone I'm directly in bootloader, and with the funny message

Before you try to flash anything other then a stock ROM, I suggest you take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416211
You need to have Hard-SPL flashed before flashing any custom ROM. My advice would be to use this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=93362&d=1213719705

On My New Diamond having 1.37 Asian HTC ROM i Flashed 1.93 Asian HTC ROM. It flashed successfully then after installing some programs i have done the soft reset after that It hangs on Operator (Airtel) Logo and my phone doesn't start. I have not installed
any Hard SPL.
I have done Vol.Down + Softreset button but nothing appears on screen.
I tried to Hard Reset but nothing Happens

Did you hold the volume down button while pressing reset? After pressing reset you should keep holding the volume down button until the tri-color bootscreen appears.

I've been trying to cook a WM6.5 in Portuguese (I used some files rom WM6.1PTG and I translated some others) with Visual Diamond Kitchen and in the cooking part all went well, I have the .ndh file generated and without errors.
Then I flash the Diamond and after the flashing is concluded the diamond makes itself a reboot and stops after the first boot screen with TouchDiamond and the red information about the versions.
I tried to do a hard restart, soft, remove and out again the batery without success.
Does anybody have the same problem?
I'll appreciate help.

Try to restore first your original shipped rom and then reflash your own rom.
Hi All,
I have the same problem, I flashed MightygroovyROM, after first boot, it stops, there is only "Touch Diamond" on the screen. I tried hard reset but doesnt work. Since activesync connection couldnt establish, I couldnt do anything.
Anyone know another technique to connect without activesync ? or is there any other way to go back old rom any flaeshing a new rom ?
