from yesterday my phone stop connecting with my Mobile Provider.I am didnt drop it or install new software during this time.I try to change my SIM card with new one and with SIM from other Provider but the problem still exist. Today i try first reset and after that I install wm v_6.5 set up all options for my country ,again try with 3 different SIM but...
i still can't use it like phone.Can't connect to my Operator.

I have the same problem. Tried to install different ROM`s but it seems that phone connectivity is gone. It is not able to connect to cellular network (searching connection forever) but BT and WIFI works fine as well as all other stuff. This is not an issue with location since I tried it in different places where other phones working fine and shows excelent signal.
Odd, my data connection suddenly quit yesterday as well (had the EVO series ROM loaded). I loaded on the new build from today and it worked for a few, but then stopped again.
Any ideas? I can make/receive phone calls, but the data connection is no longer responding.

As of a few days ago my EDGE/3G connection stopped connecting. All the settings are correct, even re-entered them manually a few times, still get the 'cannot connect' error, even though signal strength is more than adequate.
Even stranger, however, is when I use a .cab to automatically inject the settings everything works fine for a matter of minutes, then the connection problems resume.
Running CUSTEL's 2.5, problem started a couple weeks after the flash, and the only thing I have installed since is the Palm Threader, which makes no sense that it would be the culprit.
So this is not a WM6 issue correct? Its an issue with you messing up your connection settings... WRONG THREAD
Pardon me, it is not an issue with my settings, as I said in the first post even if I use a Settings Cab to inject them the data connection still quits after a few minutes even if i have not changed any settings. This never happend with WM5 and it is the first time it's happened with WM6, I would take it into a Cingular store, but I'm concerned the reps would see WM6 and just nullify any support.
Need more info to diagnose. What apps are you experiencing the problem in? Which cingular plan are you on? Which cab did you use to inject the settings.
There is some problem with the lastest wm6 roms for using cingular and pie if you are on the isp plan. Make sure your DNS is hard coded and it will fix it if its the same problem. Seach the forums and like most probs you will find your answer.

yeah pure data access seems to be going alright, but for some bizarre reason i can't send/receive email without a synch error (will have to see if this relates to the Palm SMS Threader app though).

Detais: I was connecting internet at home via my own WIFI router well before I flashed the ROM. But afterwards, I can logon skype, and use check windows updates. However, I cannot use IE to go to any webpage. Also, I cannot logon windows live messager. They just simply resposnes that "The page cannot be dispalyed or downloaded because the connection was lost. check the connection and try again later." But the connection is fine all the time.
Can somebody help?

Never mind. fixed. just disable the proxy
I too am on at&t usa and every time I experience problems with internet access I simply hard reset and load the "cingular" settings cab. This way your setting are pre configured and it works everytime. The only other thing I could recommend is checking your connection settings under connections and of course email as well . Beyond this, I dunno maybe try and load another rom.
My Internet connection was working fine... then I installed Meschle's WM6.1 Touch, which I like very much...
... but I lost the ability to reach the Internet. All my settings are correct for a WAP connection to T-Mobile, I tried it with and without a proxy, I tried changing ports on the proxy... but I keep getting the HTTP ERROR message regardless of what changes I make. It happens on any and all sites.
I know the GPRS connection is made, because after that the browser shows the "locating..connecting..opening" sequence... and then the error.

this has been happening on my brothers phone for some time. I have tried 3 different roms and 2 tmobile settings as well as the network wizzard. Any fix out there? One rom actually after the setup wizzard let him connect for a few hours now this is back.
first call the T-mobile and ask them if the service is activated for you.

Hi guys, after installing the latest radio on my Hero I get the feeling that my mobile internet connection (both HSDPA, 3G and 2G) seem to be dropping more often than before. I haven't monitored this prior to upgrades so I can't say for sure. But is anybody having the same experience?
Also is it possible to downgrade the radio? Do you just reinstall the old radio?

yes i have the same issue. my mobile internet and also the gps stops to work after a while of not using the phone. i have to restart the phone to get gps back to work.
mobile internet can also be reactivated by activating and deactivating the "only 2g networks" option.
this failure sucks because i just recognize that the mobile internet is down because i didn't get push mails for a while.

No need. It could be the APN settings. I was having problems on T-Mobile with HSDPA dropping and read in another post to go to the T-Mobile support page for the G2 and select Connecting to the Internet --> Set up the phone for internet surfing --> and follow the instuctions to set up a new APN. Worked for me

Mobile network has been unstable since I bought it.
When I turn it off for a while and turn it on again, I can't see the icon on the top bar. What I have to do is going to Settings - Wireless controls - Mobile network settings - Network operators - Select automatically.
Sometimes the connection is lost while using. I have to do the same thing like above to make it work again.
I also contacted HTC's customer service, but I haven't got any response.

I find if I leave it then it comes back. Every so often it goes...then the firmware eventually notices and it reconnects. Annoying. Hopefully this will be fixed when T-Mobile release thier version of the ROM update later this week.
I have the same issue, but it seems like it only happens when I leave a wirelss-zone (and not every time I do that either).
When I leave home, it will maybe 1 of 3 times not connect to 3G before I manually connect again (Settings - Wireless controls - Mobile network settings - Network operators - Select automatically)
I've just used AnyCut to create a shortcut to this menu-option so it is less annoying, but a more permanent and official fix would be great.

TheBrit's settings appear to have resolved the issue. have been logged into instant messenger for more than an hour without the connection dropping off give it a go guys.

It runs Runs modaco 2.6 with the newest Radio. Dont know the number it ends on 0708.
I have the prob with dopping connections. But i cant download the settings from tmo germany, because there are no settings to download. Can anyone help me? Or Can i flash the old Radio back? And where can i get it for tmo germany?

I have now a HTC HD7 surround, i am from Argentina, and my cellphone company is Claro Argentina.
My HTC is free from factory (at&t) , so any SIM is running well, but i have a navigation problem:
I can´t browse the web with 3G, i can via WIFI, but not 3G.
I have a iPhone 4 2, and i can browse the web with that phone and same SIM.
I already added differents APN´s and downloaded the Connection Setup via Marketplace.
I reseted the phone 3 times
The problem still here.
when i try to use the IE, in the navigation bar, i type some address, and after less than 1 second i see this :

Hi sandrobber, I have a LG Optimus 7 and the same problem, the wifi and EDGE and Wifi works without problem, I've checked and my mobile operator uses 850UMTS band for 3G and the phone works with that band, I've set the correct APN but I still without 3G and EDGE really sucks!
I've check the post #150 in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=839154 but I can't find any place to use these codes in order to set up my 3G automatically, that codes works with my LG Phone? How can I enter those codes?

The thing is, I don't have 3G 2100 in the country I live in
I can only rely on EDGE, so activating/deactivating 3G is useless for me.
I didn't flash. Just upgraded to 7392 two weeks ago.
I'm looking for a way to completely reset the network stack (equivalent to a reset) in order to re-establish a fresh connection.
My old Nokia E63 with the same SIM card had no problem establishing data. The only problem was the sometimes, the connection was really slow to attach (something like 15 seconds). I therefore suspect that WP7 phones have a too stringent timeout problem, i.e. the phone gives up trying to establish a connection after a failed first attempt (the phone didn't wait long enough).

Yeah you can try that. I have the gut feeling that it's firmware-dependant. If someone can try with the latest Samsung FW that's been posted recently... I'm a bit lazy to lose all my settings
