No other files contain the .exe file to be excuted

Just Download Romupdate utility for artemis and place this nbh file there and falsh it

Thats right. I remember it was 47+ free storage and around 24 mb free program memory after flasing and resetting.

first bug found: hold and slide does not mark multiple files, it only moves the screen up or down!
Downloaded and flashed today. More Diamond in it and just as fast as the 4.4. Will need to use the same cab's to revert back to ENG in dialer etc. Other than that, spot on once again
pocketcm doesnt work for me upto now - contacts aint being taken over

Try a newer version of pocket CM like i did, then add HTC-ish cm (Blue) and you get a nice blue scrollable contacts list buddy. Gonna put the spb shell on it too and upgrade with Greatbal's new theme and will still have load's of memory left. Cheers

i am on cm 0.25 now, newest available, and it still doesnt show contacts. after shortly showing them all, it displays a second vertical row of a,b,c..., tapping on it leads to nothing!

Hi Thormdac, try these mate. You might have some but take them anyway. Been off work with Brain Hemorrhage so all I've been doing really is flashing re-flashing and messing about with ROM'S. Newer Task Manager, BatteryStatus etc. What I've found is not to show contact's on sim with Schap's Advanced then copy to PocketCM and put the blue theme on too, keep the theme on storage then copy to the PocketCM folder when installed. Enjoy !!!

SO there is no way for me to add Opera, Office or MSN to this rom

I have removed Opera and Office from beta 2 to get the size down to 63mb
if it is now working I will try to find a way to get at least Office back in Opera can be installed as a cab so can Office

That was what i've told you. You can't extract that ROM. Only if you ask the cooker for his kitchen.

I just downloaded the diamonish rom to see and it's size is 63 so I would guess that could be it.
I will try to remove some stuff
to get down to around 65 mb
I have removed Opera and Office and will upload the new version now the nbh file is now 63 mb so well know if it's was a size prob or not

The ROM is only the PDA Part. Seems to be working OK till now! All functions working OK. The Mobile feels a bit more fast also. It is the 128 DPI version. All regular functions are there . An addition is the CNN Link in the Programs folder.
Will test it and then post more feedbacks.

hi people,this rom has 128 dpi but i wonder that does it have eboot+pda+phone or just pda section_? is it possible to make .img file to upgrade totally( eboot+pda+phone) ? another question is that as raw files there are 3 files ( raw01 raw02 and raw03) do they refer also raw01=eboot ,raw02= phone?

well i am afraid that it is impossible to get phone and boot section from raw files.but i still wonder that part01.raw and part00.raw refer to phone and boot sections? i know that from part02.raw u can get pda section of rom.by the way drrkgupta, did u try all connections and window live messenger?

benveq I too think that the raw 1 and 3 refer to the phone part. May be if Ahtiang or someone else contacts some senoir member they can guide them too dump full ROM I mean the Phone + PDA part .

Yes I too am of the view that the whole of PDA + Phone are in the dump. The combined file size too is similar to the Asian and the Russian ROMs. May be some senior memebers or the Master Chef EFN can help.

Wait for reboot.

hdubli, according to screenshots, your mxipinit_startmenu_001.provxml does not work, or corrupted, or you had deleted it on purpose. Or you are missing png resources from Base_DPI_96.
No new pretty icons - only old default stuff from shellres.... Looks not good.
I will think about your SMS problem and will give some tips later.

I like the ROM clean and with basic stuff.Phones to b used as a Phone first, later as an entertainment stuff.This is my personal opinion.
Am not a very great cooker, just PPC lover so trying to do best I can.Let's hope, may be you can make it better on behalf of this community

cant write, read sms.. pls help!! i extracted 17 files from smsfix.rar to windows by resco explorer. had to overwrite all as asked by the app. rebooted it. BUT cant write or view any message. pls help..

Basically, it is a stripped-down version of the shipped Asus P565 India ROM. I have tried to remove whatever I could, from the OS and ExtROM partitions.

Further items which could be removed :
1. Windows update
2. Theme Manager
3. Welcome Center
4. Slideshow
5. .NETCF2.0 - Remove and replace with the latest version.
There could be more, just a list to start with...
Please feel free to download & modify the contents of this ROM. Let me know if you face any bugs. I am using this on my phone for the last two days and haven't found any issues so far.
P.S. : Do not change the name of the .abi file. Just extract, copy to your storage card and flash.

Would be bice to also remove UrTime, Asus Zip (worst unzip utility I've seen), Remote Calendar (goes away like Google Maps).
And, is there a way to free up some more RAM?

I modified rishi2504 Rom. I removed UrTime, Asus Zip and Remote Calendar. I udpated .NETCF and SqlCeMobile to 3.5 version.

Thanks buddy, you saved me some flashing attempts....but a few questions :
1. Does the ExtROM Installer run successfully ( without any message "Installation failed !") ?
2. Does the Internet Explorer run without any problems ?
3. Are all shortcuts for other Programs and Control Panel Settings(Personal/System/Connections) there? ( You may lose some while removing some programs).
4. Does adding .NETCF 3.0 result in any improvement in performance ? - I tried adding it but didn't see any difference in performance.
Anyways, thanks for taking it forward.... I am waiting for an official 6.5 update. Will produce the next lite version only after that...

1. yes (I didn't modify extrom from your ROM)
2. I'm not using internet explorer (iris rules), so I didn't check it in "normal" web browsing, but sometimes when I need to use IE, it works well.

4. I didn't benchmarked my device yet, but in normal using I think that there is a little improvement in performance

The free RAM/ROM space is the same like it was in original rishi2504 ROM.
Could anyone kindly explain how to flash this ROM?
Simple. Put it on a microSD card, then hold navipad Down and press Reset.
One questoin: how do you edit ExtROM? What tool do you use?
Upd: Ah, never mind: I used the wrong .img file, so Winimage didn't work. Though, it worked on the right file.

Since I've installed this ROM I can't answer the incoming calls with call button. Is there any fix for this bug?

The only one little problem i found - is absence of "Device lock" option in today screen (Start-->Settings-->Personal-->Today-->Items-->DeviceLock), which can be solved by adding to the registry of the following lines:

Yes....P565 and Zest share same ROMs. There are a number of other P565 ROMs in the forums....have a play
Don't forget...if you break your phone flashing a ROM.....it's your fault
