having an 02 account executive what benefits?

Got a strange call this week from 02, seems my bill is so high (£1000+ per month) that they've now assigned me my own account executive to support me!
Anyone got experience of this and any ideas on what I might be able to get out of them for my orbit?
£1000+ Mobile Bill
Would think you'll get your own private room in hospital with all that high level radio your putting through your brain!!
1000+ a month!
What are you spending 1000+ per month on? Calls, data?
That sort of volume warrants an acocunt manager and business tarriff... if you're using lots of data, it's worht looking at switching to t-mobile business tarriff - I have been offered ten lines, 10,000 minutes of talk time and unlimited data for £400 a month (Currently spend about 1200/month with o2)
Would you mind asking your account executive if he/she could chase up exactly when the new wm6 rom will be released to end users.
I personally have never gone over my £25 a month's worth of calls and am really impressed by your huge bills. Your one bill would pay all mine and then some.
Thanks JamieC.
Maybe also a car charger would be nice for you.

[Q] Sprint Discounts...Where to get one?

I've read random posts throughout threads from people asking about discounts or people saying where you can find one. I personally have a 25% discount from a thread on slickdeals.net that went into effect in June. I am unsure if the deal I got is still good but I'll post the link at the bottom. I've also seen threads like the 23% off student rate discount but not all schools are eligible.
I recently found out a friend was paying almost $250 for 4 lines and I've been looking around trying to find some way of lowering that for her. I'm sure everyone here would appreciate some way of lowering their bill though so that's why I'm posting this.
The inspiration for this thread came from some posts I read in the CM7 thread and I thought it would help to open the question up to the entire community. Does anyone have any discounts they know of that haven't been previously mentioned?
As many know, Sprint changed their Terms of Service to only discount the first 2 lines

It really depends on who you talk to. If you go in the store they maybe will be a bit more leinent to get the discount. IF you are looking to upgrade soon or add a line I know starting sunday that are doing instant rebates.

When I worked for a Sprint store, a few moons ago (now I install the towers) we had a list of company's that offered discounts, the percentage, and the code to put on your account. As a salesman if your gonna be adding a line, or upgrading your phone to a phone that has an awesome "spiff" I was gonna go on that list and give you some kinda discount. Those days are probably done. When I left there were the 2 billing systems and migrating everyone over. But I am sure with a little persuading the right sales person can get you a discount if they are gonna gain from it...
I found this info about 2 years ago. The method I am posting works for either Time/Warner or Cox Communications. If you follow the directions you can receive upto a 27% discount like me. I personally used these basic directions to set up my discount. I don't know about the the time warner discount personally but according to the post I read it works in the same manner. I used this method for cox communications. Due to the wording in their contract with sprint anyone qualifies.
I'm not sure if this was ever posted before but I have found a way to get up to 27% discount off most Sprint plans.
A) sign up for an AIM Mail email account

B) go to the corp discount page on the sprint site and enter your aim mail account as your business email address.
http://sprint.p.delivery.net/m/p/nxt/ais/wdyw.asp?id12=UHPCHP_Link_EmployeeDiscounts
Sprint will then send you an e-mail with a link to a private store that says you are a Time Warner employee and you get a 25% discount.
Plans with this discount cost less than on the current sero plans.
Remember to use coupon code save50 to get a $50 invoice credit on newservice! ( I didn't do this)
Thats it
let me know how it works out.
This takes up to 2 months to kick in. I have had this discount since 07 and it works for everyone that has tried it.
Btw I don't take credit for this exploit. I stumbled upon it.

I'd like to know this as well. I'm going over to my friends house today to help her sign up for the Time Warner discount (not very tech savvy, she gets confused easily), we'll see if it works.
Well, for the record, I was denied. I received an email saying that so-and-so sprint employee reviewed my discount request. They determined that "my current plan provides me with the best value available, making my account ineligible for the additional employee discounts I requested"... No harm done I guess.

Sprint employee discount change

I don't know if everyone heard but if you have a employee discount with Sprint get ready to pay more than you prevously did. Sprint will start applying the discount to the primary line only, not the plan. I have the family plan thats $129 I get a 15% discount which is $19.50. When this goes into effect I will be only getting 15% on $109.
I know whooppee a few extra bucks I have to pay. But if we don't say anything next will be our unlimited data.
Thanks,

Actually it hasn't. This is a new change.
The previous change was they stopped applying the discount to lines 3-5, but they did apply it to the base plan which includes both lines 1&2.
Now they are restructuring the base plan so it only includes line 1 and splitting out line #2 separate. The purpose of this restructuring is a back-door way of reducing your discount without changing the advertised percentage discount.
This is considered an ETF waiving event by Sprint. You can leave ETF-free if you'd like.

The discount applies to the initial plan, no add ons... so as a for instance, if you are paying 129.99 for your family plan with 2 people plus you both have smart phones which would give you 2 $10 premium data charges that would bring you to a grand total of 149.99 a month before tax, now that initial 129.99 is what the discount will come off of. Also if you have more phones than that you will have your additional 19.99 per phone... the discount will come off of that as well.
EDIT: I am looking into this further, I have someone on the inside who knows all about this.
I don't think you can cancel the ETF fee with this change.

Your request has been approved and you will soon begin receiving Sprint discounts through State of New Jersey - Higher Education - NJ1 Contract, including:
? 15% on your Sprint monthly service charges.
These discounts are also applied to your add-on services that have a monthly service charge of $30 or more. Your discounts will be applied to the monthly service charges on the first line of your shared plane.
It takes 1 to 2 bill cycles for you to see the new discounts on your invoice. You will be able to view them under the heading "Service Discounts/Charges" with the description "Employ Discount Sprint/Nextel.

What will renew your contract?
a) there is a huge thread in this very forum that covered this topic.
b) discount is not contractual. You will not be able to get out of the contract ETF fee. You may with a lot of complaining and getting lucky with customer care roulette, but getting a discount is not part of your contract. You do have to re-sign a 2 year agreement if you add a discount in the middle of your current contract, and for people who did this, you may be able to use it to get out, but I am not sure.
c) All this changes is that you will no longer get your discount on an additional 19.99 of your plan. For people on the 129.99 EDS 1500 plan, you will be getting your discount on the first 110, and not the next 19.99. There is no other difference. So you will be losing 15% on the 19.99, which is 3 dollars per month.
d) Sprint will still be far and away the cheapest of any national provider (well, T-mo is close). The maximum this change will cost any customer is $6 per month, if they are on the 27% discount that a very limited number of companies offer.
e) If you are in an area where Sprint is really terrible, this is a convenient excuse to at least try and get out of your contract, but don't be upset if it doesn't work. The 2-6 bucks ain't gonna break anyone. I think you are very likely to get a $2-6 monthly recurring credit for the length of your current contract, and very unlikely to get waived without ETF.
I didn't want to quote your entire post, but in that other link that was just posted "Slick deals" I believe that I read that a few people did have their etf waived because of this.
In addition, people said that you wouldnt be able to get your etf waived the last time Sprint changed something, which I believe was this past July. And three people I know was able to get their etf's waived as well as a bunch of people around here.
It don't hurt to try and that's what I'm gonna do.

Change to Everything Shared Data 1500 mins?

Sprint change my plan without telling me. So instead of getting a discount on $130 now its only a discount on $110....which means I'm paying an extra 5 bucks more per month now. Can they do this?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
I'd say no but a little more info would probably help.
We've been customers for about 14 months and mine is unchanged as of my last bill:
Shared Plan
Everything Data - 1500 Shared Anytime Minutes Included $129.99
Employee Discount Sprint 25% -$32.50
Sprint changed my plan as well = I only get the Company Discount on MY line , so it's 110.00 ( minus 22 % company discount ) , 19.99 + 10.00 on my 2 other lines
Yeah this change has been coming for awhile. Doubt you will find it on here, but I think I read about it on phonedog.com

Yes Sprint can and will do this, and has done this in the past.
From my reading, it is not enough to get out w/o an ETF, as it seems somewhere int he fine print, Sprint is authorized to do this sort of thing.
nothing changed about the plan besiddes the way they calculate the discount.
this thread explains in more detail.

Just wanted to point this out regarding discounts. If this has been posted already, I apologize:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459640
Long story short, Sprint is changing the discount and/or have changed it whereas the discount only applies to the first phone on he family plan. Therefore, you now will have to pay the 19.99 for the second phone. But they mark it down to like 2.99 or something like that.
But anyway, this move will allow you to get out of your contract and have the ETF waived. You have to contact them within 30 days after the change. I currently have 5 lines, 1 for my wife, 1 for me and the other 3 for our daughters. I contacted Sprint last month to cancel my daughters lines because we're getting them prepaid phones.
Im quite sure what you're seeing on your bill is probably a result of this new change.

This will allow you to get of your contract and have the etf waived. However, you only have until your next billing cycle to contact them and let them know.
Also when I called them, they spoke to me about the rates of other carriers etc. But in the end, I asked them can I cancel my lines and have the etf waived...and their response was, "Yes...you can."
Also read the link in my other post that I just made. I believe some members, instead of canceling their service..opted to have their account credit for x amount of time.
So just call them and see what they say. This change was mentioned on the January bill that's due due this month. So if your bill is generated on July 19, you still have time.

Here is another running thread about this and who is getting deals/credits/contract fulfillment, etc due to this change to terms of service:
http://slickdeals.net/f/3839688-SPRINT-Changing-T-C-again-Feb-2012-Get-out-of-Contract-ETF-free
For those of you with Family or Corporate Share Plans... Say you are paying a base rate of 129.99 (with a 25% or 32.50 off) It will affect your account. Line 1 will be charged $110.00 and all the other lines will be charged $19.99. You will get the 25% discount on $110.00 instead of $129.99 so your bill will increase $5.00 in February.
"ETF waivers granted for:
1) Customers requesting to disconnect within 30 days of receiving their first invoice showing an increase because of this change. As a courtesy, Sprint allows up to 45 days from bill date, so final eligibility date is 4/15/2012 for customers with 2/28 bill end date.
2) After official notification and before first bill with change.
Lines on individual plans on the same account are not eligible for ETF waiver. Customers with no bill increase, only a change in invoice display, are not eligible for ETF waiver.
For new customers activated on share plan and wishing to cancel because of this change, 14-day return policy is extended to 30 days and the phones must be returned.
MAKE SURE you have alternative ready when you call in case you actually need to leave Sprint!!
Those who are successful please post with your results - are you being noted as:
1) 'CONTRACT FULFILLED'
2) You have to leave by certain date
3) ETF credit back to you when you leave

Security deposit

I have a 200 security deposit for new service. My question is when will I get the money back if it's no contact
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
All you had to do was type your question into Google.
As for the "no contract", I'm not sure how that would work. Call T-Mobile and see what they say. Since there aren't contracts, it might go by two things: you are up to date on your payments and the phone is paid off. As long as those things are taken care of you should be able to request and get the whole amount of the deposit. If those things aren't taken care of, they will take the money you owe from the deposit and you get what's leftover. Like I said, call T-Mobile and ask them.
"You can request a refund for the deposit you paid at activation, as well as any credit balance or overpayment that may be made to your T-Mobile account. We refund deposits on final credit balances upon request, unless otherwise required by law. Interest is applied on deposits at the rate the law requires.
Note: If you have an outstanding balance, the deposit may be applied in any order to any amount you owe on any account. You also may be required to increase or replace your deposit amount.
If you would like to request a refund, please contact Customer Care. You will need to be the billing responsible party or an authorized user and we will need you to verify the following information:
The password for the account or the last four digits of the Social Security number that was used to activate the account
The mobile number for the account
The current billing address for the account
Note: Canceled accounts must wait 30 days before the credit balance can be refunded due to final charges that may post to the account. You can call Customer Care to request a refund for any remaining credit balance.
For deposit refunds:
You may request a return of your deposit after 12 months of active service with T-Mobile.
During those 12 months, your account must remain in good standing.
Your account must be current for the deposit to be refunded.
Customer Care will release the funds toward your account balance to cover any charges and then request a refund for any credit balance remaining.
It usually takes 2-3 days via electronic refund (preferred method due to time/cost) or 6-10 days via prepaid card once you have filed a request for the remaining credit balance to be refunded.
For credit balance or overpayment refunds:
If your payment was made by check, electronic check, cash, money order, or through a sales office, your refund request will generally be processed within 1-2 business days.
If you request a prepaid card refund, it will be sent in the mail 6-10 business days after your refund was processed.
Note: Check payments must wait 10 days before a refund can be requested to allow time for the payment to process through the bank.
If your payment was made by credit or debit card, your refund request will generally be processed within 2-3 business days and will be reflected on your credit or bank account within 1-3 business days.
For debit, credit card payments, the refund must be sent back to the original account
Note: Mailed refunds can only be sent to the billing responsible party.
Exception: Prepaid Service is non-refundable (even if returned during the return period), and no refunds or other compensation will be given for the unused airtime balances, lost or stolen prepaid cards or coupons."
