Ansering phone call as sound file - Windows Mobile Software Development

Hi ,
I have requirement to answer the incoming phone call of sound file of device
stored in my device .
Please let me know how i can do ?
Probabaly using TAPI it is possible , but i don't know about the details ?
thank you in advance !!!

By means of Windows Mobile you are unable to send anything to GSM. You can only playback audio file after answer. But this is not good because environment sounds will be heard.

I think he means to make a sound file override the mic.

End a call in progress

Hi,
Is there a way to end a call in progress through the program ?
Or , emulate the end call button (red one) ?
thanks
May be it is not possible after all .....
I suppose you could do it using RIL (take a look at the section in this page), but I´m not sure
Personally I have done this using lineDrop(Handle, NULL, 0), which has always worked. See the TAPI interface in the MS help files.

anybody has VOIP working?

Is there anybody who has got VOIP working on their Artemis?
I am using the B&B3.7 and can get a connection via wifi, however the other party can hear me but I cannot hear them...
I have read a lot on this forum but can't find the correct settings/files/registry hacks ....
thanx

yes, it works with this file installed and SIP settings for "carpo" in Germany. However it worked only in regards to start and receive calls. the call quality was VERY poor, understood only a few words. No idea yet what´s the problem or how to improve.
Is there anybody out there who is able to make calls with acceptable quality?

Skype on LG Ks20...Could we use other msm7200-based device's audio drivers???

One of the most annoying bugs in this phone is that you can't make decent Skype calls, you can only hear intermittent and low-quality voice that doesn't let you understand a single word :S; same thing experienced on Fring...
It seems this is due to Skype incompatibility with Qualcomm MSM7200 chipset "dual core" architecture...someone said that's because Skype doesn't support Qualcomm instruction-set, BUT...what about all other devices with the same CPU??? Why does skype work with them ??? I'm wondering if this is a driver problem, and in this case ...would it possible to extract and use other working audio drivers???
Anyone interested ?? Guys, we own a HSDPA & Wi-fi enabled phone wich doesn't let us make VOIP calls...
+1 to see this solved!
mind to share plz? wot is +1??
please hlp us :'-(
I would like to see this done too.
Please help us if you can , i think this phone don't have good audio drivers , i noticed that and on others voip applications don't work well . I had installed at the past the sjphone and when tested the audio , the mobile phone it sticks .
I'm new here, and I would like to know if anything is happening with this?
I'm planning on buying this phone soon and would like to know if there will be any way to use voip, ever...

[Q] voip sip prgrm for hd mini?

hi everyone,
does anybody know a working voip sip program for htc hd mini?
i've tried without success:
adoresoftphone
SJphone
fring
and sip confg tool - which I manage to make an outgoing call of which I could hear the other side but they only heard digital noises - and the phone got frozen without the ability to make another regular call.
I also tried gizmo5 - which works great on my pc, but I cant config it to do the same on my phone.
that's it I think,
help?
Havent tried voip, but although there is no support anymore, doesnt Skype work? You can still download the WinMo version through the unofficial sites...
what is the winmo version?

skype ofcourse works, but i'm talking about using a different sip provider, with user and pass and server.
what is the winmo version?
as I wrote before I used the operating system option for internet calling - which was only partialy successful, since I managed to make the call, but my voice was distorted.
PORTGO (PortSIP for CE)
Try this, it work for my HD MINI
i tried wm6voip + sipconfig, managed to get it work (at least to call a mobile phone in france from a low speed wifi hotspot in china) but the sound was not very good.
i need to try in better conditions to have an opinion, but it is not very convenient (have to disable HTC Sense to enable/disable internet calls via SIP)
thanks i will try portgo and let you know
i just downloaded the soft here:
w w w .portsip.com/wm-softphone.htm
after installation, it executes, but big slow down (lag) and some parameters makes the phone freeze, i had to reboot!
i have to test it anyway, but another issue is, seems you have to build a new contact list, it does not take the ones from Windows Mobile...
let's see
no incoming audio
