Regarding Performance of Picture Picker Control - Windows Mobile Software Development

Hello All,
Suppose u've around 20-30 images and you are using Picture Picker control to display them as thumbnails.
You can navigate from one thumbnail to another using arrow (up-down-left-right) keys. As long as you are pressing keys at normal speed focused of currently selected thumbnails move accordingly and stops when you stop but if you are rapidly pressing keys it takes around 1-3 sec to stop the movement of currently selected thumbnail.
In same windows mobile on program screen (display list of all installed application icons) even you are rapidly pressing keys it stops within second. I don't have numerical data for supporting my statement but it can easily verified.
I've few questions :
1) why there is this flickering in picture picker control and how can i overcome it ?
2) Is modal dialog based application are slow in performance than window based application.
with above lines I tried to explain the problem facing in my native application. In My application too I've created the modal dialog box in a window and then entire application running on that dialog box.The very first screen shows the icons of downloaded apps n having the same problem ie on rapidly pressing navigation keys, focus of currently selected icons stops after 2-4 seconds. I've also run fexploreext205.CAB which is a third party application provide the extra functionalty to explorer like icon view of current directory items. This app does not have that flicker on Icon View screen. Undoubtly there is some better way to do this which overcome this flickering.... any pointer or any reference most welcome

[Q] Android 4.3: How to screen-capture with delay and temporary elements?

Hi, Is there a hassle-free, decent app, that captures screens in Android 4.3 on Samsung S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1/2014
- without interpolating
- with 5 seconds delay
- also capturing screen elements that appear only while screen is touched?
I will happily pay for that app.
I would like to take Screenshots in that fashion:
1. press on-screen button in screenshot app
2. five seconds later, the whole screen will be saved as a PNG file (or TIFF or BMP).
But:
My two Android 4.3 devices create screenshots ONLY in those ways:
- wipe screen with hand horizontally (it's activated in settings)
- press Home- and Off-buttons
- on tablet, with S-Pen and screenshot-note (results look interpolated, even though they have the screen's resolution of 2560x1600px)
These methods are troublesome, the wiping changes app states and generally i cannot record elements that only appear when the screen is touched (for instance, the editing controls that appear when you touch a photo in an image-editing app).
Last year, i had some ways that all don't work now with Android 4.3. After pressing the Off-button for a while, i do get the usual menue, but there is no screenshot option (i don't see where i can activate the option in the settings).
I also tried around five apps recommended in many articles, including Screenshot Free, Screenshot UX Trial and Screenshot Ultimate. They do NOT capture anything. Screenshot Ultimate has a Screenshot Auto Detect telling me there is no easy way to capture screens; followed by a very long and complicated explanation how to capture screens anyway, but i don't want to follow this long explanation and i don't want to "root".
In short: Is there a hassle-free, decent app, that captures screens in Android 4.3
- without interpolating
- with 5 seconds delay
- also capturing screen elements that appear only while screen is touched?
I will happily pay for that app.
Thanks!

[Q] Full screen from split window?

Galaxy Pro 8.4 NE3 BTU firmware
If I am using Facebook app (for example) and I click a YouTube video to watch, a secondary 'split' window opens, allowing me to watch the video.
However, there are times I'd like this to become the focus window, and run full screen.
I see you can drag the blue dot to increase/decrease window size, but is there a way to make the window full screen (maybe with a gesture?) and actually lose the blue dot altogether? Much like you'd do on a Windows computer using the maximize button, for example.
If you press the blue dot, there's a button to go full screen (2nd from bottom).

Upgraded to 4.4...few questions having to do with apps and settings

1. How much has inverted apps given as far as battery life and economy. Is there a study that verifies it advantages in terms of battery percent? For an app like Gmail (low processing power) or Youtube (high processing power), both with high frequency useage how long is the wait for a typical blackout app, is it worth it? What's the easiest way to automate its flashing other thna going into recovery for each version and manually flashing, then deleting the files?
2. Am I crazy or do the gapps and blacked out apps come with extra features. Some of the menus have gotten harder to navigate and I cannot find a swipe to delete option or selective label display in GMAIL. I also liked the persistant side menu on my pervious gmail, not the tab in and out. The message headers look too wide. I also can't find an LED notifier for GMAIL
3. Is there a way to swipe the brightness on the top keeping it persistantly in the navigation bar (instead of having to press it or slide it as the notification menu drops awkwardly down)?
4. In Task650's rom, are these features easily available (control animation at bootup, control led color, led blink on bootup, the ability to dim lower than the default aokp low seting)? I can't seem to find them easily?

[Q] Touch simulating app

This is coming from the following thread:
http://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/55899408
The request:
Would it be possible to create an app, working 'on top' of samsung remote evf (another app used to remotely control samsung cameras), able to simulate serial, sequential touches within a selected area, in a brute force way? (I.e. left to right top to bottom, in given steps).
I'd like to be able to drag a rectangle on top of remote evf (which is showing in real time what the camera 'sees'), and the app should start 'touching', say, with a 50 by 50 pixels shift to the right and, when it reaches the 'eol', it cape returns and starts again since it reaches the lowest opposing edge.
This would require:
- a selectable delay among touches (required to the camera for refocusing and saving the taken shot)
- a selectable area with eg multitouch actions. Top would be a sort of 'lazo' designing tool to drag irregular shapes (think about takimg pics of a flower or an insect with this approach)
- configurable 'stepping' distance among touches
Is it possible? If anybody wants to do it, I'd be more than happy to betatest it. I'd like the app for free (for myself) but it could then be sold to other samsung camera users.

[APP] Arc Lighting - Custom Navigationbar for Galaxy Note 10 (hide chin)

(note to galaxy note 10 users set samsung navigatiomode to gesturemode then go into arc lighting and move the buttons up vertically as they are outside of view using gesture mode will make the bar much thinner than normal, force navbar color to black then change the buttons to a line and push them to the edge, this will hide the chin by causing an illusion of the button being closer to the edge than it actually is, the upside to this is that you both get gesturebased navigation and tapbased, by forcing button size it's also relatively easy to hit the buttons)
Download (xda members get free access, will provide unlock codes to any xda member who asks)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.symetium.arclightingnavigationbar
Full Description:
Arc Lighting Navigation Bar is the most advanced custom navigationbar on the market, you can do everything from setting a custom icon per button coloring it after your current wallpaper or app you use or move the buttons up and down both inside and outside of layers, you can apply a colored layer behind each button individually and you can curve each corner of that layer individually you can also set an outline around each layer invidually and you can curve each corner individually aswell this outline can ofcourse change color after your wallpaper or app you're using and you can ofcourse adjust transparency and color lightness as with all other layers, you can force a custom tapspace for each button individually if you feel it's too small for your finger just increase the space and it will be much easier to tap the button, you can set the each individual layer such as the navigationbar or preset icon to change color after the app you're using or after the wallpaper you have both on the homescreen and inside an app, if you prefer to have the wallpaper color even inside the app you're using you can do that too you can also adjust transparency and color lightness if you prefer a darker or lighter color, you can apply an outline to each colored layer individually you can also curve each corner of this outline individually as well as the layer itself, arc lighting custom navigationbar also features modes that you can create and delete as you wish, you can set a custom configuration for how the bar should look and behave inside an app you can set a custom configuration for how the bar should look and behave inside an app in landscape and in portrait, you can do the same on the homescreen both in landscape and in portrait, arc lighting navigationbar comes with various presets such as pc mode which is designed for mouse and keyboard use and a higher dpi setting simply edit only landscape with this mode and have a pc ui, only enable when in landscape, arc lighting navigationbar also features a lighting system that let's you make each button glow individually you can also adjust the glow or turn it off all together, you can have the home button and or back button and or recent apps button pulse when charging, you can use each button individually as a battery indicator and make them change color depending on your charge, you get all this and much more in the most advanced navigationbar app on the market, arc lighting navbarigationbar also comes with various system modes, if you want the best experience choose advanced mode or rootmode, download the simple to use enabler software to give your device the neccessary permissions for advanced mode so you don't have to mess with adb, if you don't want to do this simply choose simple mode this is slightly more limited than advanced more as it will run ontop of your current navigationbar and it doesn't support transparency.
Features:
- Advanced color system with multiple layers of colors that can be enabled or disabled with adjustable transparency or color lightness and or change depending on wallpaper or app.
- Tap Space customization to adjust how big or small you want the Tap Space to be (smaller is better for a mouse and bigger is better for a finger)
- Movement system for each icon to move icons up and down or side to side both inside a layer or with the layer
- Full support for icon packs per icon and preset white or wallpaper/app colored icons with support for glow and lighting indicators
- Lighting system for each individual icon for notifications and various indicators
- PC mode preset for mouse and keyboard use (try to create Windows XP)
- Modes system that lets you set how the bar behaves in landscape and or portrait in-app and or the home screen by default you edit all so uncheck edit all variants to edit individually
i wanted to update everyone on what happened, the app simply died because the developer i worked with simply vanished, i wanted to post this as many of you have noticed i haven't sent out free codes as i should to xda members, my app arc lighting which i put years of my life in including money died, the person i worked with just disappeared, i am not accusing him he said he had corona so i am trying not to think anything i tried to be considerate but i asked whats been happening, i paid money last year to make changes to the app changes which haven't been made and it ended up just dying because it's broken
the last few days i received strange emails from someone claiming they have the sourcecode for something and wanting to sell it to me but they never said for what so i asked what this was about they refused and eventually when i said i'm not interested i received this

i've had contacts with admins on this website who promoted my app, and some people have helped me in the past i wonder if anyone can help me as i am clueless on what to do, the developer i did work with simply is missing, and i don't believe he would do anything to me, i know two people who have the sourcecode, and i do trust them so i don't really know whats happening, i also have no idea why anyone would even want the sourcecode, the functionality is 5% of competing apps that does exactly the same thing, what people seem to like is my ui design and that can easily be copied.
