is there a way to 'remove' the messages from the messages tab (win mobile 6.5) without actually delete the 'related' sms-es?
So I only see the new messages on the tab, and keep all the incoming sms-es.
Some ideas for you:
1. Delete individual messages via the Messages tab in Manila/Sense/TF3D
2. Turn off threaded messaging. Then you can delete individual messages in the WinMo Messaging application. Or perhaps try to move them to a new folder if you don't want to delete them.
3. Sync your messages with MyPhone. Then log in using a desktop and archive your messages rather than deleting them.

Recently upgraded to 6.1. Honestly, I hate the threaded SMS feature. I disabled it through the registry but not until I accidentaly opened my Inbox and it started to consolidate my SMS.
My question is, deos it somehow store them in a DB? If i delete all my SMS, will the DB also be cleared? If I disable threaded SMS, would I recover the used space?
Also, I know there's an app that allows you to enable/disable threades SMS on the fly. can you point me to that app?
This may be a stupid question, but is there a way to delete ALL messages in one sweep? Deleting msgs one by one is very cumbersome...Thanks

click you messages or email tab, then click "all messages" or "inbox" then click Menu>select messages>all then click menu>delete.
The quick way Menu>Tools>Clear
Yupe there are several ways, what I usually use is by using the qwerty keyboard:
Go to inbox, Ctrl+A, Delete --> this will delete all messages
If you only want to delete from someone particular,
Directly input the name, the inbox will be filtered only by your search, then again, Ctrl+A, Delete --> this will only delete from your search results. Really handy.
is there a way to delete texts immediately like emails do when you check "delete off server" i dont like how the text still saves in the delete folder.

ANyone know the name of text messages account?
I'm trying backup my sms to pc with birdiesync, i can backup all mail accounts after set the current account name, but with text messages i never get the correct name...

or open notepad and rewrite all of them...
When I am in the Messages application, I can click on the icon to attach things to my recipient. However, when I try to attach a vcard, it shows all the vcards but myself.
I have to exit the Messages application and go over to the People application to send my own vcard. Is this a bug?
