Themes/Morphs for AOSP 2.2 OTA Froyo

I've been trying to install Morphs or a blackbar for the new (rooted) OTA Update. I'm using the ROM that was (claimed to be in the thread) deodexed (look here: h t t p://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=811620). I've either had boot loops or blank screens after boot. Have you guys managed to get any morphs to work? I'm just looking for a smooth black statusbar.

I'm guessing (since you didn't post a link to the theme) that it flashes services.jar in /system/framework, if you remove that and edit the xml accordingly it will work, but the time will remain black. You'll need to manually edit your services.jar to fix that.

I tried flashing themes that were CM6 compatible (Simplicity), and just the browser and the framework_res.apk. I haven't tried any others.

And those bootlooped? It's probably a much better idea to get support in the release threads for those themes.

i just downloaded that build you posted a link too and it is still odex'd unless you deodexed it yourself or something

Sorry to bump this, but I'm also looking for a themed version of the 2.2.1 OTA rom, but in particular i want the black bar with white letters, such as the Community Hero Mix has. Is there something like this? Aside from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=848791, because I prefer the green on black and a simple OTA rom

Looking for slightly different stock theme

Hello,
I'm trying to find a theme sticking really close to the original stock theme, with the following changes:
- support for most unlock screens
- support for unlock screen picture
- battery display in %
- not overwriting the parameters colors
- not installing launcher pro
LitePro was really in this spirit, but ... blue, and parameters where all white.
Stock themes for Doc & Stephunel rom are not allowing unlock screens change.
Last, but not least, i tryed to cook a custom framework-res.apk on UOT kitchen, it was an epic fail
Any advices about this ?

**splash screen**

anyone have a collection of "flashable in recovery only" splash screens?? would greatly appreciate it! i am a noob and not understanding adb or other methods of changing splash screens. thanks

i don't think many people make recovery flashable splashes (even though i think they might be possible with an advanced updater script) check the link in my signature, it's a perfect noob guide. works every time.

thanks for your advice..but i dont have a pc to do all the editing..i download and flash roms n bootanimations right from my phone..i found 1 flashable splash n that was it..and its gettin old real quick lol..someone needs to make an app like rom manager but for splash screens! a donate version

Samsung Theme Designer 2.0 - revisited

I take no credit for this as it was already posted on another part of the site, I'm just sharing it here for all you creative types.
I was looking for a way to create boot animations and ran across this awesome little tool! I hope it helps you as much as it does me.

On the page of the tool it says it doesn't support Android phones. So to what extent will it allow the creation of android themes...? I'd love to get busy with making a theme for my favourite phone, so what does this let me do...?

I'm not sure if it allows android themes or not, I personally haven't used it, I was going to test it out tonite after work, but I haven't even played with it at all. It says in the postings that it will allow you to make new qmg files for your boot animations but that's all I had researched into it thus far.. and if it don't support Android tw themes, why would they have pictures of themes in tw manager up? Curious..
I will check into other programs as well, like I said I was looking into qmg video conversion and this was the second link that popped up when hunting. I know you may like a twlauncher theme editor, but for now this is the best I can do on short notice:
I will investigate further, but I'm certain those screenshots on Samsung site for this app had modded twlauncher screens..
The makers of go launcher ex have that allow you to build custom themes.. one sec and I can pull that up.
It is Go Theme Editor.

The go theme editor maybe in japanese, there is an English translation if you look in the upper corner either left or right.

hope you can help this is the part where i get stuck,
when i click Export I get a popup saying, "Please check your theme data. -> Idle Background Animation Object" and i followed the steps to the "T" what am i doing wrong?
(btw the only thing i notice different is that the pics goto the "Animation Object Windows" section but you can only see the first one in the first box but it says there all there on the right panel)

Question Fonts Location

Anybody know the folder location of the OnePlus 9 Pro systemwide fonts? Want to overwrite them with a custom font using the default font names after backing them up.

Nevermind, I have finally found the way to change my fonts to a custom font! With a custom boot animation, I finally have my phone the way I want it!!!! Yippee!!!!

Be prepared for your lock screen clock to likely show squares cos half the fonts don't show : correctly

How did you changed the font ? You rooted the phone ?
