Android calendar sync with MS Outlook - Desire General

I am synchronizing the Desire's "PC calendar" with MS Outlook through HTC Sync.
However i see, that the custom ROMs based on Froyo (Android 2.2) don't include HTC Sync, as they are ported from Nexus One.
Is there any alternative solution for syncing the Android calendar directly with MS Outlook ?
For security reasons (my company doesn't like to post internal, including confidental , data on Google and making it in fact a public information) i can't use these methods:
- sync Outlook calendar with Google calendar directly through internet
- use Google calendar instead of Outlook calendar
- sync Desire calendar directly with Exchange server
Does anybody else have this issue ?
I don't understand why Google hasn't already addressed this issue. May be they don't wont to see the Android in corporate environment ?

In your situation I don't think so.

I had a problem syncing with Outlook but discovered by using Google calendar you can skip the outlook sync and have your calendar whenever you are when you log on,
Joe

How about this:

As i wrote, i need to synchronize with the Outlook calendar in my work.
I can't really force may company (including all the 50.000 employees worldwide) to use Google calendar instead of Outlook calendar (MS Exchange).
There is no way to sync the Google calendar with my Outlook calendar, for security reasons (confidential data is sent in the Outlook invitations). The whole Google calendar is blocked in my company and i can't even connect the server (for security reasons).

The stock mail app has native Exchange support - or you can use Touchdown which is more feature rich. Google doesn't need to be involved - it's a secure (SSL) connection between your phone and your company's Exchange server.

As I mentioned before, the company Exchange policy doesn't allow direct syncing. For some reason only the access over https://owa.company.com/... is working.
Direct access from Android to OWA Exchange server doesn't work (some ambiguous error appears, probably the Exchange server prohibits this kind of connections at all).

I have tried Exchange for Android 2.0/ 2.1 from NitroDesk, Inc. and after much struggle it was able to detect correct settings for my corporate Exchange.
Apperently i can sync all the folders now (i am not completely sure, as i have played with this soft only for few hours), read email, sync calendar, private folders, notes etc.
It's only a 30 day trial, i hope the official Froyo 2.2 from HTC will come before the trial period expires and then i could use the updated Mail application with extended Exchange capabilities delivered by default in Android.

Hallo,
I am also a newcomer to Desire HTC Sync/outlook 2003. I have downloaded the latest htc version and installed. Everything working fine (basic calender and contacts) except:
1. The contacts are synced on the prename instead of the lastname, although in outlook on last name.
2. I have in the contacts submenus. How do I sync those?
Could somebody help me?

Regarding your first point I think when you are in your contact list and you press menu then settings you can change that (don't have my phone at the moment so can't check it on mine)

I have looked everywhere. I am not able to find in the menu the possibility to rearrange the sorting on lastname. This is perhaps somewhere in the general setup.
Can someone help me?
By the way, I purchased The missing sync. But this is to be discussed in a completely separate thread.

I use outlook 2010, (it's great) and I am not having this issue, the only place I can change this setting is not in my phone but in outlook 2010, go to file>Options>Contacts>names and filing>default "File As" make sure is says last, first
hope this helps

I am using Outlook 2003. The file is set as you have described. All my contacts are arranged in Outlook on the last name.
Perhaps there is really no way to get this arranged in Desire/HTC Sync. I could not find anything in the manual concerning this item.
Many thanks for your effort.

Just got my phone back today, but unfortunatly I'm not able to find the setting anymore. (you can change the display form of names frome first name last name to last name, first name but you can only do that when you edit the contacts name, which is way to much work for all your contacts)

Ditto!
Do NOT go for missing sync. Its very unprofessionally run and full of bus.
Ive had the product for about 6 months and they havent been able to fix my issues. Originally I had problems on Xperia X8 in that my contacts were being removed form the PC when synchronising.
Logged the issue with MarkSpace (which by the way appears to be a two man outfit). I would get a reply every so often to say a new version has been released and I should try it. When askign if the new version was actually a fix for my issue i was told no and that I should 'jut try it'. Good job I backed up my outlook data file first as it deleted my contacts again.
Eventually decided to change my phone and now have a different issue; missing sync is preventing google synchronisation. Also the contacts on my phone which were written to the phone from PC do not synchronise if I edit them. Not only that but if I edit a google contact on the phone that too does not synchronise with google.
These people dont seem to care that there are real users in the field with real data. Once again Im told to 'try the new version' - same result. Problem not fixed
Missing sync would have been better of 'Missing'

Exchange 2010 = no calendar sync

I've had my 2 Desires for about 3 weeks now. When I first received them we were using MS Exchange 2003, and Mail/Contacts/Calendar all synced perfectly.
Since then, we have upgraded our Exchange Server to Exchange 2010, which is lovely, BUT it turns out that the Desire Calendar will not sync with Exchange 2010. It would seem to be a Desire/HTC issue, as our iPhones/iPod Touches still sync Calendar fine with Exchange 2010.
I also note that a colleague is syncing the Desire Calendar with Exchange 2007 without problems.
So it is the combination of Desire Calendar and Exchange 2010 which fails. If I go to Settings/Accounts & Sync/Exchange Activesync and enable Calendar Sync I can see error messages saying "Syncronization is experiencing problems". If I leave Calenday sync enabled, it causes Mail and Contacts to sync poorly too, but if I disable Calendar sync, Mail and Contacts sync fine.
Has anyone else got Calendar sync working with Exchange 2010?
Desire Exchange 2010 Calendar
I recieved my Desire yesterday after reading quite a bit about it. Yes it can Sync with Exchange and all is what i read.
I set it up to Sync with the Exchange 2010 server and to my surprise it didn't sync the existing calendar items. Contacts and Mail is no problem.
If i add e new Calendar item on the Desire it does show in Outlook on my pc so Exchange does have a sort of sync with the Calendar. Adding a new item in Outlook never shows on the Desire. It seems like a one way sync or something. The Desire can sync to Exchange but it seems Exchange cannot sync to the Desire
I have a test account on one of our clients Managed Exchange 2007 servers. Setting up ActiveSync to the Exchange 2007 server works like a charm. Full sync both ways.
Just modify all your calendar items, for example by adding an additonal category by change your view to "list" or "list all active" and selecting all your appointments. Add a category, remove the category and switch back your view. Now you can happy sync your calendar with E2k10
Whoa! Steady there.
Can you give me some background to this before I apply it to my 12 year calendar history? How did you discover this, and have you actually successfully done this?
It worked and now not anymore
Strangest thing. My girlfriend planned a few appointments in here Calendar and invited me. So I accepted those invites on my Desire and all of a sudden the 2way sync worked. I could add items on my Desire and they popped up in the Exchange/Outlook Calendar and vice versa.
But that was unitil I rooted my device this morning...meaning new flash and standard factory reset. Now it will not sync the Calendar anymore. Tried sending new invites from a different account without any luck.
So...the calendar sync does work eventually...dont know why or how I did it.
Other thing you could do is, is install HTC Sync and manually do an Outlook sync of only the Calendar items (all items). I did this and they all showed up on my Desire. I did a one time sync.
Trying to figure out how to get the sync working again.

Not really any background information, sorry. I've done some research on it but did not find anything, including analysing the extended sync protocols, everything looks ok, but there's no sync.
I've got this solution from a swiss-forum "android.pocketpc.ch" (sorry I can't post links since no moderator removed the restrictions yet) and it worked like a charm. I've tried it since I'm the Exchange-Admin myself and I now I've a functional backup;-)
Same problem here. Cannot get calendar to Sync with Exchange 2010.
If I add a new meeting to the Desire it appears in Outlook.
If I modify this meeting in Outlook then it appears as 2 separate meetings on the Desire.
If I delete an appointment on the Desire then it comes back once the sync runs.
All in all very disappointing for a State of the art phone.
Anyone got a real fix for the Exchange 2010 calendar problem?
A huge thanks to dab_ch for posting above the workaround to get the Calendar syncing to Exchange 2010. This is now working perfect to two Desires here.
If you have this problem, follow the advice in the post above. It worked for me, twice.
dab_ch fix is only working in part for me.
Some of the Exchange calendar items still do not appear on the Phone.
If I modify an appointment on Exchange the change is not reflected on the next sync from Exchange
Also, While Exchange Contacts are appearing on the phone. If I add a new contact to the Phone this does not appear in exchange.
The Sync Process still reports "Synchronization is experiencing problems."
A Further update.
I setup a new account on Exchange2010 and then transferred the Calendar using export and import.
Now my Calendar Synch in both directions is working fine.
It looks like my problem was related to a problem with my account on Exchange or some appointment in it.
Contact Sync problems
While the calendar is working 100%.
I still have a problem, that if I create a contact on the phone it does not sync to Exchange 2010.
There are no errors from the ActiveSync process.
Is anybody else having this issue?
Please note that if your Desktop Outlook client is using 'Cached Mailbox', then after adding the temporary category to each item, you MUST wait for the local Outlook database to sync completely back to the Exchange before you then remove the temporary category and then again wait for the completion of the sync back to exchange from Outlook.
Failure to comply with this will leave you with only a partially synced database - the part which did manage to sync back to Exchange.
You can tell when it is still syncing by watching the satus bar at the bottom of Outlook - it will say 'Updating Calendar', then after a few minutes return to 'All folders are up to date'.
Note the sync doesnt start immediately, so you wil see the 'All folders are up to date' message for perhaps 15 seconds before the sync starts. Wait for the 'Updating...' message etc.
Contact sync does seem slow, but it does work here eventually. It ought to be fast tho, so something is not right. I even tried the temporary category trick, but it didnt speed it up.
XDAgeek you are right.
I tried a number of different accounts to reproduce the problem with the Calendar and it seems Cache mode was my issue.
The Calendar sync is now working 100%.
On the Contact Sync from Phone issue, this still seems to be not working. I added a contact to one of my test Desire phones two days ago and it is still not in exchange.
For me it was not the cache mode.
I did an export-mailbox on the Exchange 2010 server.
Deleted my mailbox...recreated it so it was blank....no synch issue of course (So it is definitely not an Exchange 2010 issue)
I created 1 item in the Calendar in Outlook 2007 and that popped up nicely on the Desire. Great...so I thought.
Did an import-mailbox with the backed up pst...and Sync had problems again.
Started filtering out where the problem came from.
Turns out I had some Items (birthdays and such) with recurrence that the ActiveSync in Android is not happy about (Same Items sync fine with a WinMo 6.1 device). So I deleted all the recurrence itmes and copying them back 1 by 1. Syncing was still going fine until a certain item. So I edited that item by removing the recurrence pattern and reapplying it making sure it was an All Day event (that is a Birthday usually ). And Presto...everthing is syncing fine now.
Better logging is needed?

Very strange that so many people are having the same issue.
after a few beers
sorry this post is under the influence but...
there is a subtle problem with my synching. overall the calender syncs fine. with one exception: any diary entry i type directly into outlook, (with receipients also), does not synch. if i am sent and then accept an entry, or if i make the entry on my phone it syncs. direct outlook entry does not work. pants.

I have exactly the same problem. If a collegue invites me, my calendar syncs fine, but if I add items myself, the sync is almost random (some items dissappear) and the new item does not show/sync.
I really do not want to delete all recurring items, but maybe i'll give it a try. Google Calendar Sync does not seem to be a great solution either.
HTC answered me (i have a Legend) that Exchange 2010 is currently NOT supported.
Thanks all, I follow the "category" method and it works like charm now!!! )))
Category.. No category... SYNC!
Thanks!
Also for me the assign category then undo worked.
Now my whole calendar is synced and I'm ready to go!

Android multi Calendar confusion ...

I'm getting mighty confused by these multiple calendars that have appeared on my device and getting them to sync with my Google calendar.
Here's my set up. I have all contacts and calendars on my Google account before I started. I set up my Desire to sync with them using Google account.
All seemed fine but I found the Gmail app on Desire pretty limiting so I set up an Exchange activesync account linked to my gmail account for my mail (always worked well on my HD) and set it to sync calendar and contacts too. I then disabled all the syncing through the google account to avoid complications.
Unfortunately the exchange account doesn't seem to be configured for push and has no option to change this but that's not why I'm here.
Coming from WM, I'm used to having one calendar that is in sync between Outlook on PC, Google calendar and mobile device.
When I co to calendars on my Desire now I have no less than 4:
My Calendar
xxx @ gmail.com
Exchange
PC Sync
What's going on here? Which is which? So far HTC Sync connects but will not swap any contacts or calendar items with device and vice versa. Nor do appointments I add to the device show up on Google Calendar.
I suspect that this is because these different profiles seem to be associated with one platform - outlook / google / desire - or another.
Can anyone shed any light?
Many thanks, M1.
For anyone else trying to work this out there is a useful (bit old) thread here:
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Google Mobile/thread?tid=6d1605a796be89fd&hl=en
It seems you need to be careful which calendar you add entries too if you want them to sync with cloud mail - I unticked the box next to My Calendar so now entries I add on the Desire default to the google account calendar and sync as expected.
Now have to get to grips with the PC Sync calendar and work out why none of my events and contacts are syncing with out look. Sigh - it's just another learning curve i guess ...

Untick them all except Exchange and you'll just see Calendar entries updated by Exchange. I don't have an Exchange option incidentally, so just untick them all and it still shows.
xx @gmail.com is using the Google Sync interface but you said you dislike the Gmail App. PC Sync is for using HTC Sync via Outlook. This is really for non-Google Calendars/people locked into using Outlook. As you're using Google, you're better off updating direct from Google.
You can in theory use Exchange ActiveSync for E-Mail and Google for Calendar/Contacts or visa versa but obviously it makes more sense to use one method or the other. As Gmail supports Exchange ActiveSync, there is basically crossover between using Exchange ActiveSync (and the HTC Mail App) or Google Sync (and the Gmail App).

I presume, so you have them in Outlook too? Don't bother.
I use GSyncit to update Outlook. This talks directly to Google and gets Contacts/Calendar. It's well worth the $10-15. For me it goes:
* Outlook to Google via GSyncit: Both ways
* Google to HTC Desire via Exchange ActiveSync (or Google Sync if I prefer): Again both ways

HTC Sync - working with Outlook and the Evo

Hey all ! Questions for the lucky ones with Evos already in hand out there.
It's unfortunately mission critical to me to be able to sync my phone with my MS Outlook contacts / calendar / notes (appointments, reminders, etc) and so on. Not running an exchange server... Just need to be able to sync my Outlook personal data every night. It's a work thing, you see...
Anyone out there in the same situation and with experience to share ? How well and reliably does the HTC Sync software work, in general, and more specifically with the Evo ?
Thanks !

It doesn't only support 2000, it only says the latest version (2.0.33) supports 2000 - it previously wasn't the case.
Also, given that v2.0.33 supports the Incredible and the fact that I've read a couple times that HTC Sync actually comes with the EVO (on the SD card - EVO owners, what say you?), I don't think it's a stretch to assume it probably works with the device... All I want to know is how well HTC Sync works and how reliable & seamless the sync is; if EVO users have experience with it, then it's ideal and I'd love to hear !

I have the same issue and don't like the HTC sync tool. messes with other things. I sync the contact manually with Google contacts once a month. i do this with a CSV file. I then loaded Googles calendar sync app which syncs my Work outlook calendar to my Google Calendar.
I created a second Google caledar which i use as my person calendar to keep them seperate.
Not pretty but works and is not phone or brand dependant
Google Calendar has a tool on its website ( dub-dub-dub-dot google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=89955 ) to sync with Outlook automatically. I know it does Calendar, but I'm not sure about Contacts. I'm pretty sure I've seen something for Calendar contacts.

That's great guys but I'm not looking for workarounds through Google Calendar - I don't use Calendar, or Gmail. Putting my data in the cloud would breach confidentiality agreements with clients, unfortunately. So I need to know how well the straight-up PC to phone sync works... Until now I've been with WinMo (on HTC, of course) since it just works so seamlessly (well, the synching part), but I'm way overdue for a jump to Android...

I am also making the switch from WinMo to Android, here is what I did to "sync" my contacts. I am not sure what I am going to do in the future, but mine don't change much anymore (4 years of working with outlook contacts, they are pretty up to date).
Sync'd phone with Outlook Contacts
Used PIM Backup to backup Contacts
Established OTA sync with Google (selected contacts only). This will remove contacts from phone.
Restored Contacts using PIM Backup
They then Sync'd with Google Contacts.
You might want to delete all your contacts on Google first or make sure you setup what has priority for the sync in the direction you want. Only takes about 10 minutes and ALL info is then sync'd properly.
HTC Sync 2.0.33 works fine with EVO. It can sync Outlook Contacts and Calendar items. Despite the fact HTC sync application says you can only sync Outlook 2000/2003/2007 I'm using Outlook 2010 and it works fine. Automatic/manual sync options are configurable. It's more stable than microsoft's active stink...err sync, or windows mobile device center.
on the SD card
HTC Sync 2.0.31 is included on the EVO sd card - works fine for me with contacts and calendar on Outlook 2007 - a little slower than active sync but it works and I'm happy with it.
I'm running XP
Mule
There is a new version made for the EVO on HTC website. It is version HTCSync2.0.35.
Here is the link:

Thanks everybody ! Awesome to hear that it works well, especially on 2010 - that was one of my worries, since it's also what I'm running. Sweet !
outlook 2010 beta does not synch- even w 2.0.35

Someone in this forum said it works, but does not say how, also, perhaps they are using the non-beta newly released profession version only available to corp accounts right now????? (consumers can't get RTM until June 14th).
Do I wait til June 14th and hope the RTM works, or does anyone have a work-arround?
Solutions for Outlook Sync
check out the following two solutions. they are both pay to play but will allow a 14 day demo period. Companionlink is a pretty decent google sync that uses google gmail for a conduit. I was skeptical but it does a great job. Seamless with the exception of Outlook notes. It even updates all contact notes etc. Calendar and task sync through google calendar. So far works pretty good. The second program was just was released this a.m. it is from dataviz, and is called roadsync 2.0. It uses exisiting htc contact, mail interface, but uses stand alone, tasks, calendar interface. This seems pretty decent as well just not as used to going to a second program for calendar. It is about a third of the price of the companionlink alternative.
using htc sync off the memory card... syncs great with calendar and contacts of outlook 2003. Wish wish wish it had notes... but with capacitive - is there even a decent notepad app?
People hate on me all the time for this - but sometimes I miss winmo (omnia or x51V)... was a little more mature and business oriented and tied in to outlook/office:
+synced great with outlook (contacts, calendar, email, NOTES - even with audio)
+whole operating screen would to go HDTV/Projector/monitor/tv through VGA or composite
+WMV/MPG/DIVX/XVID... all seemed to just work (TCPMP love!)
+Text to speech didn't sound like Hal while boards being slowly removed...
+Speech recognition - Voice Commander was TITS!!! LOVED IT. Handsfree!
+any bluetooth Keyboard, some mice - my laser keyboard all worked great!!! HID or SPP
+windows/startup let me easily kill off any task I didn't feel was necessary...
there was no amazon MP3 or other **** that felt it NEEDED to be ready to run at any moment if I didn't want it.
+ROOT out of the box!? Sometimes I think - would people really buy a computer if it only came with user and not admin permissions? and they couldn't delete bloatware and stuff?
+SDIO/CFIO? expansion possibilities - REALLY? an SD or even mini is too big?
+CF 32GB + SDHC 32GB = 64?!?
+IR (how fun is that at sports bars and magnolia/best buy, CES?)
+Fully functioning Office - word/excel/pp ... out of the box!
+RD/TSC
+WM mediaplayer(which had it's faults) DRM ecosystem... worked... so you could do rhapsody/amazon vod and stuff...
...
OK - sorry - I've vented. I'm done. X51V love forever! 6.5.3 was sweet! Screw you Dell and MS for killing a great system.

HTC Sync v 2.0.40 syncs my Outlook contacts with no problem, however I keep getting errors attempting to sync the calendar...
Unfortunately HTC Sync doesn't give me any real error message. I did a quick pass and could not locate any error logs either.
Any help? Was hoping this would be as seemless as ActiveSync/WMDC and I could avoid 2 to 3-step syncing.

Has the sync issue with Outlook 2010 64-bit been solved?

Outlook Sync - Contacts "Files As"

Hey guys,
My MD now has a Desire and I notice something strange happening when he syncs his outlook contacts.
Now I know from both sides (outlook, Android) , it doesn't really matter what you file someone's name as because when you search, it still appears either way. However, he is very particular so here is my problem.
When he syncs his outlook contacts to the device, on outlook they now appear as first name, last name. Even though they are set to File As Lastname, Firstname. Now if I open a contact in Outlook, flip the File As back from and to what it was, it then appears in outlook correctly (well how he wants it to).
However, next sync it will re appear as first, last... although file as is still last, first (Outlook)
Anyone have any ideas or noticed something similar?
I appreciate this is a minor issue but I would like to resolve it for him if possible.
Thanks for reading and any help appreciated.
Tell your MD to stop being so picky!!! LOL!!!
Seriously, though, I don't know - I stopped using Outlook sync and sync to my Gmail account now

i had this issue as well, it took days to sort out and once I had them all as I needed it I just installed gsyncit and uninstalled HTC Sync. Outlook and phone perfectly in sync wirelessly for £9 !
i'm thinking about getting a desire, currently have htc touch 3g wm and have it sync'd to my company exchange server . whats the best way to recreate the same push email & sync functionality on the desire? Would Gsyncit do the job? thanks in advance

no need, it will sync to exchange without anything other than your exchange details. No other software needed

This is what I used:
xxx.slipstick.com/contacts/fileas.asp (change xxx to www)
and it worked perfectly.
I found after I got fed up of change 500 contacts individually (twice)
Thanks for that Redskinblack, looks like it'll be a great work around for us. Anyone have any info as to weather or not HTC are ever likely to fix this though?
outlook sync with htc sync then tried to sync back after wiping the contacts on my phone sent all my contacts screwy, added them to wrong groups, linked them to wrong facebook contacts...
I've found exporting to sd and importing again much easier and works much nicer - lose my groups but that's not as annoying as re-linking them all...
obviously doesnt help the outlook issue though
If it helps, I've been trying to find a reliable method to sync Outlook 2010 contacts with the Desire. I had similar issues with HTC Sync reversing first and last names as well as problems syncing.
Having looked at Gsyncit but not wanting to pay for it, I found MyPhoneExplorer which was originally developed for SE phones but has been updated to include Android. It works well and syncs over wifi. You install the program on your PC and the app from the Market. In the program, you then select Outlook as the source of your contacts.
In order to avoid duplicated contacts, I deleted all phone contacts prior to syncing and it copied all the Outlook contacts to my Desire. The only issue was that the Facebook contact link to the phone contacts was broken. This was resolved by removing the account from HTC Facebook for Sense, logging in again and linking a contact.
Hope this helps someone.

This is a great explanation. Very useful. Thanks.
i had the same problem with windows mobile phones trying to sync to my computer. here is the solution : when to write a new contact in outlook say his name is ( Dave Smith ) open up contact field in outlook express and now point to new contact .where it says FULL Name ,click on this icon usually you would put the first name ,in this instance (Dave) in the box where it says First and (Smith) in the box where it says Last .Don't do that .where is says First just put the whole name in there i.e Dave Smith . save all info ,when you have synced your phone ,it will say Dave Smith in your phone.
hope this helps and you understand.
The free sync tool MyPhoneExplorer works fine for me and you can set the first, last option as well.

Google Sync for WP7?

Hey guys...Just wondering if Google Sync will work with our WP7 devices. I know it worked for Windows Mobile. Ideas?
Thanks.
Pulling two bits of information together, WP7 supports Exchange Activesync, and Google's support for Exchange Activesync is published here:
http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=139652
...which amounts to a "yes", although from memory I thought that they only supported Calendar sync for WP7. Still, I could have remembered wrong or they may have improved things... or I might be right. (I only read it last week.)
You emails will of course sync via the standard mail protocols (I assume).
I mainly concerned with getting all my Google contacts.
If you configure your Google account as an Outlook account in WP7, then it will pull your emails, contacts, tasks and calendar (or your choice of those four) onto your phone really easily.
I have another question. Does Outlook Connector support for sync contact pictures to the Hotmail account? Because when I try to sync my Outlook 2010 contacts with Hotmail (for WP7 Exchange Activesync), then contact photos are not synchronized

Not tasks. There is no concept of "tasks" in WP7.

Can you please explain?
Hello, I have read the above entries, but am still stuck. I have entered my google mail details by selecting the google account option, then have select contacts in the settings, but it still wont sync my contacts, what am I doing wrong?
I want to sync tasks with Google. I am unable to find that option.. Please help...Thank you
tasks in general are not supported natively. you have to find an application to do it. i have seen an article a few days back on it, but i can't seem to dig it up.

there is no need to set it up like that. simply setup google as google and just whatever you choose will be synced. you can check several option after setup when you tap on that account.
