Hi,
I'm posting this here, mainly because it involves new ROM flashing.
I spent nearly a month "converting" my WFS..
So, I hope you'll find this helpful..
Follow the next steps:
1. First you have to unlock your bootloader
(Thanks to theq86 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1432199)
2. Second install this stock ROM
RUU_Marvel_S_HTC_ARA_2.26.415.2_Radio_47.23e.35.30 38H_7.57.39.10M_release_262618_signed.exe - 158.5 MB
It's an Arabic ROM and it supports fully English.
The big advantage of this ROM is that it has "Right to Left" correction built in.
(Thanks to kasra_Qeshm. Original post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1476701)
3. Next step is to install Hebrew keyboard. there are many options.. I personally prefer Keyboard from Android 2.3 (there's also a paid version)
And the Hebrew pack for it Here.
That's it!! You have Hebrew on your WFS!!
Some more goodies:
1. You might want to root you WFS - One Root is an easy and great tool for this task.
(Thanks to rezo609 - Original post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678421)
2. "Bubble like" WildChild Messages app - This one is an add-on the require your phone to be rooted in order to flash it. You can download Here.
(Thanks to Tigger31337. Original post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1652973)
3. BEATS AUDIO
(Thanks to apherio. Original post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587286)
That's it for today.. Hope you'll enjoy!
One last thing.. I only gathered the information and made some tests to see it's all working.. but if you find some of this helpful I think it would be nice go to the original posts and press the "thanks" button..
Cheers!
Maoz.
great to see how it works.. I thought it required more than just flashing. Anyway it's goot that I've got the idea to use the Arabic Rom for our needs.
anyway now I just need to figure out how to add darktremor support so I can use this rom with A2SD GUI and not worry about memory.
btw, what is the memory usage that you see with this ROM?
After installation I had 119MB free internal memory
You might have a problem running the RUU*.exe file since the wildfire's CID is not compatible.
I've found that extracting the boot.img and system.img from the rom.zip (found in window user's temp dir) and flashing manually is a good option as well:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
good luck.
if anyone comes across the VMOBILE's rom (i've seen one with full hebrew) please shout out.
http://iandroid.co.il/forum/topic81886.html
I've got the vmobile rom. the problem is that it doesn't support A2SD and you ran out of space pretty quickly.

Not a bad idea to have this thread but it belongs in the general section
Also I wouldn't even mention click to root apps/programs here, maybe instead link the xda wiki
Probably should add some scripts/mods specific to the vision here like kebezies aroma installer for nik3r's data swap
Or some of the keyboard changes
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda premium
I'm not sure those rooting apps will work with the desire z... have u tested them? I rooted a long while ago, so i might not be up to date with rooting stuff, but afaik to root our device it had be done manually, or ud have a big risk of bricking... As for the other tools, i think having a link to the htc drivers is the most usefull... but anyways, thanks for caring and putting this stuff up, might come in handy some day

[Q] A long shot I know...can anyone help with a copy of a specific ROM for the Bravo?

Hi,
I would really like to get hold of a working Download link for this custom ROM - [ROM][AOSP]dGB v01_28_2012| 2.3.5| 375MB /data| 60MB /system for the HTC Desire Bravo along with the additional downloads linked to the ROM as listed on their website:
https : // sites . google . com / site / dgbbravo / homesite
for my HTC Desire Bravo (namely kernel, hboot & apps etc). I've scoured the net and tried all the links but none of them appear to work any longer.
Ive recently aquired the phone and have been trying out lots of custom roms etc, but have decided the best for this phone is a small rom thats stable and reliable. This one seems to fit the bill judging by the feedback ive seen. I intend to give the phone to my young daughter.
If anyone is able to guide me in the right direction it really would be much appreciated.
Nick
Ps The device is currently S-Off | 4 Ext Touch Recovery | AlphaRev Jellybean HBoot

HTC one X endeavoru - TWRP touch screen is not working ! Please help me :)

Hello
I have a HTC one X endeavoru in very good shape but too old to be used as is => I would like to install an earlier release of android so I can use it again (i need to use playstore but it is impossible in the current release)
It is the first time for me so I followed the instruction on some post of this forum (thanks by the way :good ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-x/general/how-to-unlock-bootlocker-install-t3743270 )
Please find my status :
- I installed the Google android SDK, javaruntime and HTC sync manager from HTCDev
- I made the "unlocking of the bootloader" on htcdev => Everything went well (except I didn't see the "disclaimer" window (step 10 : https://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/unlock-instructions/page-4/) )
- I tried to flash TWRP (many different releases ! ) (Example : twrp-2.4.4.0-endeavoru.img) => Everything fine Except the touch screen isn't working on twrp !! and i'm stuck here
Someone could help me ?
Thanks a lot !
