How can I use German keyboard of Raph100 in Android System?
The Physical Keyboard layout in Startup.txt can only use for Rhod.
Does anybody can solve this issue?

Oh, My god!-_-!

Get the newest rootfs (I think it's what you need... if not, just get the newest package from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=711692 )
And set in your startup.txt in the "cmd"-line:
physkeyboard=german_raph

Thanks.
try searching wiki - keyword "chinese",or install CE-Star
Thanks a lot! I only used the search function before, that I didn't find anything. Next time, I'll try wiki before post a new thread.

you need to use other wince.nls to get back the regional settings. You can get this from dopod-HK rom, or download a trial copy of CE-Star and looking in it. The size should be 1.x MB
If you know how to dump the rom, you can replace the wince.nls then repack it back to .nbh
if not, you can try to direct replace it from a running hermes. (not sure if this still work; i used to success with this when use LVSW ROMs)
if both not work, you can use CE-Star which it will change all the settings for you.
hope this help.

ASUS P320 (French to English)

I have purchased this Asus P320 from france thinking that it would be a dodle to change the language to English, just a simple swap of roms. But it seems alot more complicated than that, I have read an earlier post which gives me an idea of how to change the roms but this was for chinese to french. It wont seem to work getting it to go from French to english. Any Ideas on what to do?
A little info on what rom I think it has at the moment (original rom)
BTLR 3.1
Rom 4.5.0_0528_FRA_FRA
Asus has released new roms encrypted.
The real problem is the decrypt program (included in download) starts verifing the right version and language...
To solve this problem you need someone with english version that starts decrypting and copy the new file. With this file you can start flash directly.

Just download CHN firmware!
In this version, the file autorun.exe doesn't check version!
You must use the autorun.exe extracted from chinese file and 850_GAX_SD_enc.bin you want.
Put all in your SD in 2577 folder and play!!!!

[Samsung i780] Keyboard layouts for all languages - PLEASE ATTACH HERE!

I'm building a tool to hot switch between different keyboard language layouts with a simple soft reset. Can you help me by giving all different keyboard language dlls here? The two files i need are the zylonite_keyboard_xx.dll and sym.xxxx.txt files from your corresponding language.
Please add all these here, and i'll support those many languages! I currently have russian, swedish, german, english with me right now.

I will give you the korean .dll
I'm interested with having a i780 rom with french keyboard.
I have a windows 6.1 rom and I found zylonite_keypad_Us.dll and sym.040C.txt but I was not able to copy these file from the phone.
The files are read only and it's impossible to change status with totalcommander program.
Any idea to copy files?

yes man its possible. you need to install resco file explorer http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/ this one works, or SOTI http://www.soti.net/default.asp?Cmd=Products&SubCmd=MC
here's a picture from WIP....
currently paused development until i get some time...
Right now, the app switches all registry settings to point to different dlls....so a rom cook needs to embed different language dlls into the rom as modules, and users will have access to different keyboard languages by simply selecting what lang to use
cheers
Thanks for your help Heineken78, I will try.
dreamtheater39, can you give me all registry settings necessary to change keyboard layout?

ufortunately Poirelotto, you will be not able to make it work by replacing only file and cheanging registry settings, replacing can be done only in ROM before cooking.
There is another idea to rename desired zylonite_keyboardUS.dll driver and change registry whereever this filename found to new filename.
Should be working.

Hi,
I've got an i780 with Original Spanish ROM (WM 6.0 sadly)
I've searched the files you are looking for, and I found the txt file, but the Zylonite_keyboard_xx.dll doesn't exist on my rom... I found another file called "zylonite_keypad_us.dll", and I've attached it with the txt file.
Hope it will help you.

I think this is actually hardcoded into the kernel. I've had some looks at the kernel source code (which DZO maintains) as I want to add support for scandinavian keyboard. Shouldn't be that hard to modify once you manage to set up an enviroment that allows you to compile the kernel.
Could you take a photo of your azerty keyboard (detailed enough to also see the Fn alternative for each button) and if time allows I may have a go at it.
I've successfully managed to remap the kernel for my scandinavian keyboard (except for the special nordic characters).
How did you remapped it?

By changing the kernel source.
Edit: /arch/arm/mach-msm/board-kaiser-keypad.c
Then compile your own kernel. I'll send my changes to DZO once they are complete. Right now I have changed the "normal" layout but the correct way would be to add a new setting and make it selectable so it's needs to cleaning up. I also haven't managed to add ÅÄÖ (and the norwegian counterparts) yet. But everything else is mapped correctly so I no longer have to guess where the "slash" is and so on.
Actually my current mappings are posted in the kernel thread in the Vogue forums as I've asked for help for the remaining 5 buttons.
EDIT: Added my experimental kernel as an attachment. Unzip and place in x:\andboot\ (make a backup of your original kernel just in case)
This kernel should be the same as DZO's 29-03-10 kernel except it is partially remapped for nordic hardware keyboard and also have the BT changes that broke bluetooth on Eclair reverted.
EDIT2: Removed attachment, later version (and NAND) available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=660158
Newer version of the Nordic keyboard kernel here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=655512
Edit: fixed the link
Try the attached kernel. Make sure to set board-kaiser-keypad.atttilt to 3 in default.txt/startup.txt.
Please let me know if it works OK asap. I've used a picture that I found on the net of the Kaiser azerty keyboard. Not use about the Fn->S. The picture was a bit blurry so I left the defult mapping for Fn-S which is a ".

[Q] Some problems after installation Android

Good morning,
I have now for two days Android installed (Nand) on my Kaiser and have since some problems which I do not get attacked.
First, my hardware keyboard and my internet does not work. Apparently I have a data traffic but I get only error messages when I start the browser, for example. It is then the browser "Web page not available" or if I want to connect to the Android Market is "Can not establish a reliable data connection to the server."
I have made all operator settings, and it is also the 3G at the top but I'm not checking the Internet.
Can I fix the hardware keyboard with an new Image? Which settings I must choose in aTools? Which Key Map I must choose? Normal, Tilt, Nordic, Azerty or Qwertz? How can I resolve the problem with the Internet? With the GPS I might have problems!
I hope that anybody can help me!!! I despair!

Well, we need to know which build and which kernel you have installed first.
Is that correct?
OS: Android 2.2.1 Froyo
Kernel: 2.6.32.9 - 11/29/10
androidinstall.tgz by clemsyn
Also what do you mean by "my keyboard doesn't work" ? If you talking about wrong layout then you probably should tick "NORMAL" in a-tools unless you have a Tilt in that case go with TILT.

Ok let's focus on keyboard first, as it's kind of strange did it work correctly on windows mobile?
Yes, it works without any problems on wm 6.1 and 6.5!
I had HW Keyboard not working too... I Guess it is caused by Keymapper androidupdate.tar...

Update:
Ok as A.S.J. said maybe it's a problem with keymapper, did you change your keymappings?
forget about installing Not so super froyo for now and try to setup your kernel/build without using keymapper if it won't work then try instructions below.
That's strange to be honest I';ve never heard of anything like that before. Have you considered trying out some other build? Try "Not So Super Froyo" by Kyle just install both system and data to nand.(your data from clemsys build on ext2 partition will be intact so you can always flash back clemsys system and have your settings saved) also while you're at it try '25 kernel instead of '32 I find it much more stable. Did you create your ext2 partitions with a-tools under ubuntu using gparted or in windows? I had plenty of trouble when I created ext2 partitions using some third party software under windows. Maybe your ext2 partition is bad and that's why the keyboard doesn't work. Anyway like I mentioned before install NOT so super froyo to NAND both system and data with '25 kernel at least we will know if your keyboard doesn't work with other builds.

Change the keymapping to normal or to Tilt depending on which device you have.
Tilt doesn't have a front camera European kaiser has.
Okay, I'll install Android again. But how do I get my problem with the Internet in the hand? If I install Android again I will also fix the problem with the Internet.

I have this same issue now too... Must be something new that I didn't catch. I'm still doing some hardware testing on the keyboard itself, and going to find an original querty.kl file from one of my backup builds and do a androidupdate with that file to see if it fixes the hardware mapping.

Can you post content of your install-seq.sh? I have used this build with no problem installing to NAND, so perhaps you changed something regarding the partition size.
