Micro USB - Captivate Accessories

fyi
I have been able to purchase cheap micro Usb cables made for the blackberry storm or bold on ebay. Some of the car chargers and cables are a little fat to fit the curve of the captivate but you just have to shave an angle down the back of the connector with a utility knife.

Accessories Case

Now I have an MHL cable, spare battery, spare MicroSD card, I'm thinking I need a little accessories travel case/pouch/bag.
With the MHL cable I guess I would also need it to fit a HDMI cable and of course a USB cable, optionally (because I realise it will increase the needed thickness somewhat) a plug for the USB cable (to charge)
Any suggestions?
i think something common such as hdd case?

I do have a case for a mobile WD HDD which wouldn't be too bad I guess. It's probably a little bigger than I was hoping for, and not really suitable compartments. Things would be rattling round in there.
Does anyone know if you can get one of those clever 3 pin folding plugs with a USB port on it?
**EDIT** Folding plug - http://www.madeinmind.co.uk/plug.php
I guess it's not available yet

Does this difference make a difference in charging?

I've noticed that on the micro USB that comes with the S3 there are connection prongs on both sides of the connector that goues into the phone. There are only prongs on one side on every other micro USB I've seen.
I still have the full size USB to micro USB cable that came with my old Evo 3d that has the 2 prongs like the others. So I tried using it on the S3 and it seemed to charge much slower than the 4 prong cable that came with the S3. Are any car chargers made with the 4 prongs instead of two? Right now I'm using the Evo 3d car charger and it doesn't charge the S3 worth a crap.

Tight Micro USB Port/Cable

Hi. I was just wondering is it safe to use a micro usb cable that is tight on the port? I bought a 3rd party usb otg cable since oem ones weren't available. It works fine but the micro usb end fits so tightly into the port of my note. It takes a bit of force to pull it out. Is that fine or will it eventually damage the port? Funny thing is when I use the cable on my dad's HTC or my mom's blackberry the micro usb cable seems to fit fine and not tight.

OEM Micro-USB cables

I'm trying to find some OEM micro USB cables from either HTC or HP. I've bought cables before from Monoprice, ebay, etc but I find the thicker cables too heavy for the micro USB jack. I think the weight of the cable can ruin the micro USB jack.
I've searched quite a bit and everything either seems to be the cheap thick cables and/or a misrepresentation of what they are selling.
Does anyone know of a seller that sells OEM cables at a fair price?

USB-C to USB 3.1 Adapter

What's everyone's thoughts on this adapter? Think it will work on the OnePlus 2? I'm temped to pick one up since it's so cheap.

Only the original Oneplus Type-C adapter is working with otg. It seems, this is not a bug, it´s a feature.
Other adapters can only be used for standard data transfer and charging.

I got a three micro b to type c adaptors on EBay from the exotic far east. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=301725222332&alt=web
They do reasonably well with power xfer, sketchy to adequate on data xfer (depending on which example), but are a bit fragile with a hard and slightly brittle plastic. Using the OPO cable or a 1m Kopi cable I can sustain 1750+mah until the phone throttles back the charging rate (measured with USB multimeter and Battery Monitor Widget).
I expect that a better quality adaptor would be more rugged but not have huge performance gains outside of connection stability (quite important if you need to xfer large amounts of data in small chunks.
