Were to buy in USA

Hi All,
I'm new in this forum and I don’t know if this is the write place to ask this kind of question, but any way I'm interested about buy the pro2, can some spare me some information about were to buy in USA for a good price?
Thanks,
the touch pro 2 isn't out for any US carrier yet. people here have to order it from a european website like clove or expansys or something.
Or wait till ends of july and buy it with a local provider wich will include a 3G working version.
Hope local providers do not change it so much as european version is great!

[Q] Galaxy Nexus in Latvia, Estonia, Litva

Hi everyone.
There are a lot of threads about appearing GN in UK, US, Australia and so one.
Does anybody know when GN will appear in The Baltics country (Latvia, Litva, Estonia)? Does anybody know whether any terms of his release? In which stores it will be selling in this countries? How much it will be cost there? I'm interested in stores located in these countries. please do not offer Handtec, Clove, ComputerUniverse. If you got some links to the stores in this countries where GN will be selling- post it here please.
I'm from Estonia and as far as I know it is not sold in Estonia. In fact no Google phone has ever been sold here, so there is not much hope.

I'd like to test phone before buying. Don't want to send it back to the store if I find dead pixels or other bugs on it. It takes a lot of time to send it back and wait for new phone.

It is unlikely that Galaxy Nexus will be sold in Estonia, however it might still happen now that Samsung is trying to make a bigger push with it by naming it 'Galaxy'. It's not just a native-Android type of thing anymore. But Samsung will still want to push their own main handsets in these markets and that might get in the way.
The best bet would be to order online. There is a small chance of something being wrong with the device, but looking at the device in store is not really the way to detect them. At best you can only detect dead pixels there and those are rare on Super AMOLED screens.
I guess that if you want to be an early adopter, you have to take some risks. We have and as a result we have this awesome volume bug.
What is the baseband radio version and build version on Estonian Galaxy Nexus phones (stock ROM) ? Anybody can tell me that?
Thanks!

Windows Phone Marketplace now available in 13 more countries

Windows Phone Marketplace is now available in 13 more countriesBy Michelle Ruhfass on Wednesday March 28, 2012 0 Comments
Microsoft is opening its Windows Phone Marketplace app store to 13 new countries. The new countries where the Marketplace is now available are Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Croatia, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Venezuela. A total of 54 countries are now able to download apps, games, and music for their Windows Phone smartphones. The news comes on the heels of the launch of the Windows Phone powered Nokia Lumia 800c for China, a CDMA variant of the Lumia 800 specifically built for the Chinese market.
source: Microsoft
And soon it will add also UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Israel, Thailand, and Vietnam, bringing a total of 63 countries.
Wow, I didn't know it was unusable here in Venezuela. Ate there a lot of places where it is unavailable? Or just tiny countries?

..y, and they blame us for piracy, but dot give a chance to buy a product hehehe..i dont mind at all xD
So now i can finally investigate how In gods name do I put a custom ROM on my phone, and prepare for the hard reset.
Good thing about the SMS backup app, installing all the apps again will be no problem, since I don't have that many installed in the first place, but loosing all my conversations would be unfortunate.

Nemaš sreće susjed!
i live in Romania and the apps showed up in Marketplace using romanian currency.
But if i try to buy an app and register my debit card it isn't accepted. It's possible that only Visa cards are accepted and not Visa Electron?. When it asks you what type of card you have the options seem to be Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Quite a shame if Visa Electron won't be accepted.
Hopefully it's just a temporary problem with their system since the marketplace just opened. There are also very few apps compared to US or UK, not even basic apps like twitter isn't in the market.
when is the games & music marketplace coming to India?!
As long as they don't cut off the marketplace to Iran, im happy with it. no need for a marketplace for iran.
You know, iTunes and Android market won't allow iranian's to download app from them (ofc we have our own ways (proxy ))
Marketplace in new region EU-Slovenia
The first frustrated attempt in Slovenia
HTC Mozart
I create a new Windows Live Mail, I reset Windows Phone 7, I sign up with a new email and set the region to Slovenia. I go to the marketplace, where my cell phone asking me for the region. I choose again to Slovenia and I'm in.
Marketplace opens with 0.1% of all applications and games. You don´t have Xbox games, music and 99% of nothing else. I don´t have Skype, Ask Ziggy, I'm a WP7, appHTC Hub, SLOWP7APPS, good games, but unfortunately just crap.
What an incredible limited offer
Developers have to make theirs app available in the new countries manually.

Make sure you have the network payment setting enabled on your Visa Electron. I had to manually enable that setting from my netbank, I live in Finland though, but I don't see why it would be different in your country.
My card is fine, i use it for online transactions pretty often and never had troubles, it just seems that microsoft only accepts visa, mastercard or american express. No visa electron accepted.

There is something else, the Nokia Collection its not in the marketplace (did you noticed this or its just me?). Anyone knows something about Xbox Live and Zune for Romania? Have a nice day all.
LE: Visa Electron works for Romanian Windows Phone Market!
My Visa Electron works fine.I just payed for 2 apps with it.Maybe it's your bank not the card.
Any idea when will the Israeli marketplace open?

Samsung Pay Release Aug 20 (South Korea)

Question. If Samsung Pay gets released in South Korea will we (US) be able to get our hands on it? In other words access to the APK so that we can install on US phones.

From my understanding there will also be a software upgrade. So it sounds like it may be more than just an APK but I'm not positive.
It will be interesting to see what happens when it officially releases in SK. I would hope that we would get a sneak peak. Some very creative people on this forum. Maybe the can work their magic to get us a copy here in the U.S.
Yep! Two more days for Korea. I know their beta was reliant upon having some sort of "Samsung Card" that we don't have in the states. So it'll be interesting to see how the US beta will go as well.

Ordered mine A50 today European version, any chance to change the Country code if ne

As object says, i don't know exactly which country will arrive but i'm interested in SamsungPay that in some countries hasn't been released
In case i'll be able to flash another country code to install it?
What is your idea ? IMHO whichever country code you flash if SamsungPay is not present in your country - it will not work
edit: you are from Italy. It should work

This is interesting question. When phone comes from official distribution in Italy it should work that way.
In general: Samsung pay or Google pay have no bank systems. The work with cooperation with some local (i.e. : Italian, Polish ) bank. Surely different bank in every country. So it is rather not a technical problem to have Samsung pay in any country but administrative.
