[REQ] Baseband DJ20/DL17 - Continuum Android Development

If any dev manages to stumble across this, may you please help me get back up to Baseband DJ20 or DL17? Currently i am at DL09... If there is a update patch from DL09 to one of those, that would be perfect
Thank you in advance!

I can't root m Hero Please help

Hi everyone
I used HTC Hero
Firmware 1.5
Baseband version 63.18.55.06EU_6.35.06.18
Kernal Version 2.6.27-44690c1a
Build number 2.73.707.9 146733 CL#62020
Software version 1.0.0.A6288
I've tried to use this solution http://theunlockr.com/2009/08/27/how-to-root-your-htc-hero-in-one-click/
and
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4257045&postcount=38
Any Suggestion?
You've not said what the problem/ error messages are. Nor how you know it's not rooted. I'm pretty sure for any of the dev's/guru's to be able to help you'd need to supply what's going wrong, not just the methods you've attempted.
ur problem like similar to mine
At present, I don't think anyone can help - see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=563256

Dave

Where can I go to find out what all the above means as well as odex and deodex?

Please search
check the wiki to point you to various roms and their threads, and read through the threads it links you to (or Neifs grid in the wiki, but i don't think its done yet) - it's all about personal choice, you'll have to try them all to find the one that you like best/works best for your phone. I wouldn't worry to much about all of the specs you posted, none of it comes into play for most people.
odex and deodex come into play if you plan on theming your phone. Generally you can only theme deodexed roms.
Sorry, but what is wiki or Neif's grid in the wiki?

OK - I'm going to try and be nice and help you out, but you're not really giving me much to work with here. Don't take this the wrong way, but if you don't know what a wiki is (or at the very least, know to type wiki into google to find a definition) you really don't belong here, and you will most likely brick your phone (which means turning it into a paperweight), because you don't know what your doing. You may want to just stick with what you have.
At the top of the Q&A section (this one, the one you posted this question in) is a thread called "HTC EVO Wiki".
A wiki ( /ˈwɪki/ WIK-ee) is a collaborative Web site oriented to providing knowledge in some domain. Anyone can enter information, or change or comment on anyone else's contributions.
So you go to a wiki to find and get information (ever hear of wikipedia?) Neif is a member here who is putting together a grid of the various rom capabilities - that grid is housed in the wiki.
PLEASE, do some reading, do some searching, and read the stickies in each section (stickies are the threads that are "stuck" at the top of each section) before you go any further.
Thanks for being kind and helping me out. I know what wikipedia is, but didn't understand the concept of a wiki. Everybody has got to start somewhere, and I've learned a lot from you guys especially timothydonohue in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=746408
Its nice to have a little direction when trying something new.
The only dumb question is the one not asked...
Thankyou

Region Change for Galaxy Watch SM-R800 (France2US)

Hi all,
So I have looked around and I can't find a thread that can help, unless I am missing something which if I am could someone please help a novice out and point me in the right direction. I didnt want to make an unnecessary thread but here is my inquiry.
So I have a Galaxy Watch 46m BT and I am trying to change the csc so that I can use Samsung Pay. The watch is in French whenever I reset it so I am assuming that's the native country and I am trying to change it to US (XAR). I running Tizen version 5.5.0.1, Software version R800XXU1FUD1 and One UI 2.0.
Now I've tried the easy way, but I think since it's running on a newer version of Tizen I may need to downgrade and then try it? I am not 100% and didn't want to brick my new watch so I am asking the community and if anyone can help and point me in the right direction I would seriously appreciate it and once again I apologize if this question has been asked before however I couldn't find my specific scenario.
Thanks
S
You can downgrade from 5.5.0.1 to 4.0.4 and change the csc.
Check it out: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/sm-r800-4-0-0-7-csc-change-process.4190167/
After that, you just need to update your watch again.
