I did my search and read up on home screens.
and realized it's totally differetn from today screens... (regret getting a smart phone, now lol)
anyway, i'm trying to mod this xml file, but everytime i upload it, it doesn't show up.
I don't think i have the code wrong.
could someone look it over for me?

ok i figured it out, I had to put it inside the fascade script. lol
does anyone know how to add homescreen plus aka batterystatus? I don't know the clsid.

Morning xda members I needed some help and wanted to see if anyone knew if there is a cab or a fix to change back to the stock contact page look? I installed energy rom and when you go to the people tab it shows all my favorites as small boxes next to eachother.....i liked the stock way where it was where it was a picture and you flipped thru the pictures....anyone have any ideas? Yes this is possible, actually with a little bit of porting you could use the same app. The only real problem is that the hardware (accelerometer) is different. But it shouldn't be to big of a problem. How usefull this app would be is a second issue. You are aware that it is merely a gimmick and not even very functional on the optimus right?

No problem, Could you elaborate on that? I don't understand what you mean exactly. You press where you want to have the cursor on text? On website its a longpress and then you can drag (and copy search etc) Is this what you mean?
I have some problems while typing a text message, for example, my finger isn't too much precise to choose the right place;
another important problem that i have is when i'm searching on Google: if what i'm searching is longer than the bar, and I'd like to edit the last word, i can't move the cursor too right beside i should tap the "x", that deletes all...

Actually I know what you mean, google thing you can solve by making a text selection and draging it to the beginning. For the text problem there isnt really a solution. I got used to it pretty fast and im accurate now. Also the gingerbread keyboard is a bit better when it comes to text selection, if your not using it yet it might be worth giving a try

Edit: Text selection in google mobile is indeed not possible. A solution for this could be to use classic google which has a larger text box. (I am using this since the beginning, its actually faster and less buggy, downside is that you have to zoom in and out a bit more)

I've been searching for months now and have had no luck. Does anyone know if a mod exists that will remove the page jumps from my homescreen ? It would allow me to scroll from one end of my screens to the other end with one flick. In ios it was called smoothboard. Any help guys? Ever even heard of it on an android ?
Launcher Pro does that.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not talking about virtual looping at the ends. I'm talking about flicking it on my farthest left screen all the way through my screens to the farthest on the right. It would also allow you to stop the homescreen with two rows from each page available. Any idea what I mean or anyone else have any help?

I am new with Zenfone 2 and I was eager to explore the phone and so I stumble upon the case where my phone lock screen menu is disable after I install some 3rd party app. (I screenshot the problem but I don't know howto attach it in this thread. I'm so sorry. I'm new to this kind if forum)
I don't know how to enable it back and I am really hoping that 'factory reset' is the last thing to do...
