I would get it if it includes an extended battery built in...

from what i was reading, it will work with the Qi charging system... lots of info if you google. Bu take that with a grain of salt, who knows...

Looks like HTCPedia has it listed on their site, with a picture here... Looks like it wont' fit under ANY case, with the possible exception of the jelly-style cases that can stretch a bit...
No info on what it's compatible with though, and at 40$, it's a bit steep for me...

The extended battery conflict doesnt bother me much, the car dock is my main complaint to it...hopefully someone will come out with a slim version if possible

Verizon said it will work on the powermat

Any wireless chargers?

So has anyone seen a wireless charging solution yet? Either comercial or hacked.
I fried my EVO 4G charging circuit last time I tried (too hot soldering iron) thinking might try external micro usb connection this time unless someone is going to make a comercial option.
Was also wondering about NFC if I did put an inductive loop on the back side of the phone.
I've been wondering the same. Thinking of trying one
of the Duracell mygrid clips, with any luck it will fit and be hidden by my case.

well hell.....this thread has been dead for a while.......anyhoo i was luckly enough to stumble accross a palm pre back cover @ my local radio shack today that was clearenced out for $.97, being since this was going no where soon i decided to purchase it. I placed the coil into my phone and it was a little thicker especally since i have the nexus extended battery in my phone allready. Currently it is held with a small a small peice of electrical tape holding down the right side but other than that it seems to hold together rather well.....and YES I WILL POST PICS but what i dont know is if it messes with the NFC coil.. and i still have yet to aquire the actual touch stone

I discovered these a few weeks back. They look nice and have a unique look to then.
Many colors are available for both white and blue GS3s on Amazon. The above color option can be found here http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0093DKVEU/ref=mp_s_a_124?pi=SL75&qid=1348739940&sr=8-124
@winbytrick I actually just ordered one and a Kidigi charge dock. Now I need a spare batt the, dock charges a spare.Should I go OEM,what do you think?

Just received mine today.
Everyone should know that these are slightly fatter than the stock version. The advantage is that if you use your phone naked, it provides a little extra buffer for the camera lens if your rest the phone screen up. The downside is that if you use a wrap-around case, it may not fit anymore.
Luckily I knew this beforehand and decided to go with an aluminum bumper to match the new aluminum backplate

Wireless Charging

With news that the Nexus 4 Wireless Charging Orb is being release in February, I'm curious to know if anyone has tested out this ability on their LGOG..... If specs are very similar to the Nexus 4, would the Charging Orb work....
It would be sweet to get this or some sort of wireless charger for our LGOG :fingers-crossed:
won't work
There has to be a wireless adapter usually on the back of the battery door for it to work. Unfortunately the nexus 4 has it, and the LGOG doesn't.
Some companies make aftermarket adapters for popular phones, however with a so called "non-removable" battery, it doesn't seem likely for us. But we can hope...

I tried to remove it. But its glued to the back of the screen. Didn't want to mess up the battery. LOL.

I read somewhere that with a little ingenuity and a soldering iron you could essentially make the OG compatible. Having never soldered anything in my life I ignored it, but try googling that if you feel capable of doing something like this.
I wonder how easy it would be to install the Palm Pre's touchstone coil in this phone, or if it's possible to install the Qi charging coil from an N4.....
I was wondering the same thing. I looked in the service manual and it seems that the same 2 powerpoints are on the Samsung Galaxy S 3 are also on this device. Can anyone confirm that these 2 points to the right of the battery are for charging contacts?

I have a couple of touchstones around somewhere. My biggest fear for this mod would be the pressure from coil pushing on the inside of the glass back.

Says its for the F-240, which is Korean version. Might not fit properly. I know some people have had slight issues with the lock tabs on the flip covers for the F-240.

Modify what? The backplate? The phone? What are you talking about?
If they are sending along a new backplate with the battery, its because the battery is bigger/thicker than stock. Modifying would mean it wont fit as its supposed to and you'd probably have gaps. Not worth it to me.
Give it a minute and the makers of these batteries will design a backplate for the E980, but its gonna make a thin device into a real brick!

I mean the clips. Modify the clips. The battery is the same across all models I belief.

i hugely doubt that the korean and US versions differ at all. the only diff i see is just the software not hardware.
i also hope the battery doesnt stick out which would render a sleek slim phone stupid looking.

The battery will stick out, which is why they give you a new backplate.
And the US and Korean versions do differ on the back some due to the F240 having an extendable antenna in the corner. This is why one of the clips is slightly off center compared to the E980.
As far as the battery having its contacts in the same place in both models, I honestly don't know. Haven't seen anyone post on that. If you order this battery you can let us all know!

I already emailed mugen if it would fit and they said it wouldn't plus the new zero lemon battery is half the price but it has 9000mah. Way better deal.
Zero lemon is way better and way cheaper

I wonder if the built in Wireless Charging will still work with the Zero Lemon battery because they give you a different case back...
Does anyone know?

after looking at the pictures. something seems kinda shady.... its supposed to be a 3800mAh battery. but i've seen the morphie 2400mAh(not sure of size but its 2000+) and its like twice as thick as that.... so not sure how they can fit 3800 mAh into something that thin..
heres a link to the mophie one just for reference.
http://www.mophie.com/product-p/2370_jp-htc-one-blk.htm
not sure if its cause the pictures from that website are just plain terrible or me..
and not to mention the price is a bit sketchy too. BTW the imposed watermark "shenzen" is a chinese city name FYI.....
Maybe so.....

They could have split the battery, part in the front and part in the rear around the phone. Having said that, it seems more likely that it isn't actually 3800 at that thickness.
This one look very tempting too!
