Bootanimation - A7 Themes and Apps

Bootanimation on eLocity A7 is easy
Package must have name bootanimation.zip
Package must be placed in /data/local
eLocity A7 has standart bootanimation format, so many files are working without any problem. Just need to resize or rotate in extra cases.

Man, now if we could only get it to really boot to Honeycomb after the animation. Very cool bootup screen though.

Might be more possible than you think, from what I have been told via email a7's kernel should be released in next couple weeks. Not getting hopes to high but thats what we need to see real possibilities

Sorry guy can you give instructions for the animation again

The instructions are right up top. And you are gonna need something along the lines of Root Explorer.

Sorry they were ripped which phone are you trying on ?? I think the n1/desire should be able to use them sorry bout tht if they dont
Doesn't work on my Liquid Eclaire 2.1
Will not install on my non rooted N1
they will need the .odex file to be de-odexed to work on other phones.
and probably a copy of the framework directory in order to make this possible
if someone wants to bother doing this.. (i dont) i can post the entire f/w and the aps with the.odex files.
It's available
You can find the ocean waves from the Android Marketplace just search galaxy S and it's there.
It might be laggy on other devices because the hummingbird is a bit better with the graphics. I have seen it running on my friends HTC Desire.
there is something better right here at XDA dev.

Simple Bootanimation for Optimus G

I used to think I want some bootanimations not only simple but nice, so I tried to make ones.
Of course... how you feels about these animations may differ between people, but I did my best, so I wish someone who thinks this is nice can apply this usefully.
It's quite short animations but it takes almost 6 hours cause I didn't buy Photoshop.... :silly:
so I draw this with MsPrint, and some fundamental utilities :crying:
bootanimation.zip (letter 'G' appears, then keeps glowing)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
shutdownanimation_rev.zip (letter 'G' turns brighter, then shatters into pieces)
(hmm... gif animations are playing so slow in my computer... if you are, too, remember that animation goes faster than you see above.)
In Korean JB rom, it's easy to change boot/shutdown animations : just paste these animation zip files to directory '/system/media/'.
But I don't exactly know about other roms, so you might have to convert these files to other format, or even decompile some apps.
I don't mind whether you use images inside these animations, but please tell me after using them : as I mentioned, they're 6-hour-images :cyclops:
__________________________________
2013. 1. 30. : I improved some brightness problem on the first uploaded file(shutdownanimation.zip), and it is uploaded now(shutdownanimation_rev.zip). When you apply this shutdown animation, please rename "shutdownanimation_rev.zip" to "shutdownanimation.zip"
It looks like .gif animation I uploaded don't work properly on xda app... just stopped images are shown. If you want to see animated preview, please view this post on PC.

It has more than 500 frames.
Lowering the size would compromise image quality.
Check the Holiday Boot animation from Moto. Its more than 85 MBs.
