Tiramisu EVO EXTRA V. 3.2 XXJVK
Tiramisu EVO EXTRA V. 3.1 XXJVK
Installation: (Follow the instructions to the letter!)
1) Turn off all lagfix
2) Flash XXJVK Stock firmware (for those passing from Froyo to Ginger is a must the version with bootloader that you find here: Link. Info at the end of post)
3) Put the rom in the internal SD (8 GB)
4) Enter Download Mode and flash speedmod kernel (without auto-reboot)
5) When finished, while still in Download mode, remove the battery and start the phone in CWM
6) Now in CWM (written green) do a wipe of all (cache, data, dalvik)

F.A.Q.
1) Where can I see for more info?
For any questions please refer to this Thread: Gingerbread XXJVK info and news.
2) Why do you advise me the bootloader version? safe?
For those who pass for the first time from Frøya to Ginger is a must with the bootloader version. In fact if you flash a version without the bootloader, you will have the graphical glitch (colored striped screen) during boot and beyond.
This bug/problem is due to the fact that you are using a bootloader old and need updating.
This does not prelude the possibility of returning to Froyo and / or ginger. only updates the bootloader.
In addition, the version I posted is absolutely secure.
3) There is an installation less: invasive / fast / easy?
For now, no. As they become available methods of installation easier, I will certainly update you.
Have Fun!

I have big problems with Gb keyboard with ALL GB-Roms.
So I ask you, too, if you or anyone will have, any probs with a laggy and slow (I think without multitouch like on froyo) GB-keyboard?
So again I've flashed a lot Roms but always the same...
If you can surely can confirm that you don't have the bug in your Rom or you did something special that fixed this, I'll try your Rom.
But if not or you aren't sure, you maybe have a solution for this?
PS: I flashed JVK WITH bootloaders with 512 but also 513.pit file a lot of times, then a kernel (special for darky or the speedmod for other Roms).
Cheers!

Why is it too buggy? or did i do smt wrong?

One question, how to change CSC? For the original code * # 272 # IMEI # does not work in version 2.3.3 thank you

i flashed JVK with your link. and then i flashed speedmod-kernel-k13d-500hz via odin. then flashed your rom. then reboot phone. entered recovery again wipe data, cache partition and dalvik cache. but phone is not well responding some time.

......:::::: INSTRUCTIONS ::::::......
Since this is a development/test version I will not provide too many detailed instructions because I suppose if you want to test this you know what you are doing. This is also the reason why I will monitor this thread for the new bugs/issues/fixes you can find, but will not give a lot of supports on it just because we all know the bugs and the issues, it's just a matter of time and will be fixed.
HD2 512MB users needs CWR with at least a 390mb System partition and an sd card with an EXT3/EXT4 partition
HD2 1024MB users can use the build without needing the EXT partition. in this case, nand will be used as data storage (390mb system partition is needed anyway)
Make a nandroid backup! During the flash all your data, apps, settings will be DELETED!
You should WIPE all your data before flashing or you can have unpredictable bugs and weird behaviour.
Flash the ZIP thru CWR and reboot
Wait 2-5 minutes to have the build to settle
Do all your settings in the wizard, wait other 5 minutes, then reboot again
I suggest you to wait 2-3 minutes every time you reboot, on the lockscreen, to have smooth and lag-free build.
As soon you can, go in settings, audio, and deactivate the touch tones, to avoid robo voice or phone freezes.
Remember: if you want to avoid Data Corruption always choose SHUT OFF and not reboot, also when I write "reboot"

Hd2 desire s build xda app.
Thank you very much for your beta release.
I believe that it is better to focun in solving the current problems with
Camera/Camcorder
Video Play/Streaming
because with the Desire HD rom some bugs never solved.....
Then every cooker can release the rom wanted.
Thank you very very!

Those issues can be solved probably only re-coding the libs. So it's a job for coders.. and I'm not one of them.

Without Camera and Video far from ice As i understand kernel does not compatible with new Sense?
experiment with this ROM
First thanks for your work (my donation is coming).
Currently I am running your Desire HD 4.01 (NAND CWM), I like it a lot.
I would like to experiment with this GB build, but without ruining the current 4.01 installation (recovery and partitions).
How can I install this build to try it and later restore the 4.01?
1. I will backup my current NAND
2. I should wipe the cache and dalvik, should I wipe data as well?
3. Install the new zip file (should I do something with rge recovery CWM? doe something with the FLASH.CFG?
Upon returning to the old 4.01, should I do the above again and do a restore?
Please advice
Thanks again

backup, wipe userdata (YES! ALL!) and when you want to go back, just wipe all again then restore.
Rafpigna - what ist the benefit of using the HD ROM with GB as Core and not the Desire S Rom? Any improvements , new apps? How does the Speed compare to DS?
Any special features?
Im using the GB build from Desire S and im satisfied, but i would like to try something new if they are different!

I had to call my "no-sense" kernel as "gingerbread"
Basically my standard kernel works an all android versions
the "no-sense" one works an all versions too but Wifi works ONLY on gingerbread or no-sense froyo.

Not tried the Desire S build.
Dont know the differences but during my compares I see a bunch of libs are differents and all the apps and framework are different.
About the speed, this first version is snappy after some hours... anyway as stated in OP is just a first release and will be improved soon.
Anyway you can always make a CWR backup and restore it back your desire s version if you want.. this is the nice thing of CWR, but you will need a 390mb system

Downloaded AND installed JVO ROM, everything is working perfectly, as far as I can tell at this moment.
Shame extended powermenu and multi lockscreen isn't an option....
Maybe indeed the correct moment for starting a new thread. Great to see the updates still evolving for the loyal customer
For people who are wondering:
Which is the newest gingerbread?
JV5 V6 may 24
JV9 V5 may 15
JVO V4 may 4

Yes agreed. The themes will come. I wanted this released as the kitchen was closed for a long while. The beta will open with themes and extras that we pick up. Then they will move into open once they are proved good.

Suggestions if you are taking any.
Yes and if you taken the time and effort to create an odin version, why not put GB bootloaders in it as well instead of making ppl flash XXJVR first and then this if they are coming from Froyo. Might be a good idea to provide a cwm recovery flashable version for ppl who are already on GB rom's. Not everybody is next to the computer when they flash new ROM.
one last thing, you fixed on kvr but missed this

Installed kernel TalonDEV 0.4.3 ... working great.
I also installed the theme GingerWay BlueOcean (I had to make my own install script to make it work).
Seems to be a little bit laggy, compare to my previous JVQ (Criskelo V77) with same kernel ... I then put lagfix and now it's much better (even if I thought that lagfix was obsolete on newer GB ROMs ...).

update fixes the following bugs of the Pisces-Flex v5: - Replace the baseband and firmware for stable waves.
- Fix synchronization bug with google and youtube.
- Has SIM toolkit (STK).
- Received phone numbers in sim.
Note : - Who download this rom before 04/02/2014 then run this update file, download the update after 04/02/2014 should not because the Romans were always fix it.
- To make a successful update to boot into recovery mode, wipe 4 (4 wipe required) and then select the update file to flash as flash rom. Complete flash just reboot the machine (no need to wipe 4.)
- In this file update integrates baseband and firmware for STK, there has been enabled kernel init.d so if you replace it with other things could lose that functionality. Link :

The major problem i face with v4 or v4.1 ( dont remmeber actually) is that it opens the data network when I go out of range of wifi. Not sure why but once it downloaded a junk load of 100 MBs without any notice. oh may be this issue is also in the 187 kdz .. didnt checked for long enough

bro, what u have to do is download android firewall by the same name. its excelent and in its define every application whether it is permitted to use wifi or data network. and its 100% tested and functional, not even a single byte will pass through its gates without proper permission.
excellent rom better than sphinx 4.1. better graphics and performance. fully functional everything.
only drawback is few tweaking settings are in Vietnamese.
try to use cmw recovery 6,0,1,2. as after flashing with newer 6.0.4.5 this will not bootup or else will stuck on bootlogo of lg.
