This forum does not show up in compact view - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

For some reason, the Incredible 2 forums show up in expanded view, but not compact. Might be part of the reason this forum is getting so little traffic, and why so many Incredible 2-specific questions are still being posted on the Incredible S boards.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Subforums

Hi,
Don't know if this was here before, but I didn't find anything with the search function.
Since the Xperia hit shelves some days ago and is becoming more popular each day, I wanted to request a split of the subforum. Actually I'm not the only one who thinks this would make sense -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437444
Its becoming more confusing every day mixing program/modification requests with other general stuff. Since Olipro & cmonex are working on a HardSPL, its only a matter of time (if they get it working - which I have no doubt) when Xperia ROMS will be published.
So please give the Xperia an own subforum with seperate general and modification subforums.
best regards
you mean this?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=436
I mean to split that forum. One subforum is becoming more confusing every day ...
Would be nice to have a dedicated subforum with 2-3 subforums for general stuff, modifications and maybe accessories.
yes please would be really great to have an own section one forum is alittle bit strange already
Yes plese could we have subfourms as well.
Subforums would be nice.
Especially before the single forum gets to overcrowded with posts/topics.
Appreciate it once it's done.
Great forum board.
Without it my X1 would be a former shadow of what it is now.
I'm loving all the tweaks & updates
I agree, it needs to be subsplit, the one forum is already getting very busy and looks to be getting more popular all the time.
it already has more threads than some of the other devices combined.
I'd suggest the same as the Diamond, 4 sections, Standard, Rom Dev, Accessories and Apps/Themes.
retty please:
yeah, subforum needed! (as previously requested in xperia forum itself )
+1 for X1 sub forum
So who do we talk to about this?
Dedicated standard 3-forum layout for the X1 would be great. This has to be the most popular non HTC branded phone to date.
Nigel
i agree subforums would be great
maybe even 4 on just for apps and one just for panels then one for roms and another for accessories
Would be great with an Xperia subforum before the posts in the general thread grows more. It's kind of messy as it is.
Would be great with a Xperia Subforum with 3 or 4 categories
Agreed, we need a proper forum.
thank you for the xperia subforum
here is an image for it http://img376.imageshack.us/img376/5192/xperiaxdavc3.png (made by me starting from promotional)

Droid forums category?

Just wondering, why is there no category for forums about the Droid? When I browse forums by category on the new XDA app I see a category on there for most all other android handsets, why no Droid? I guess I feel like it was a mainstream enough device to merit some hacking, right?
Please assist.

It is time to pull the trigger on the DROID forum? Yay or Nay? Let's resolve.

It is, in my view, time to bring this issue to a vote. Not that we citizens of XDA-land have a voter per se in the Information Design and Forum Structure at XDA. But you admins do, of course. Svetius has had his "new forums?" thread open now since January 11th -- it is now April 7th -- Not quite 90 days, but surely enough time to take the pulse of the community and the site management.
I personally think it's embarrassing to XDA to continue to stonewall this issue and act like "it's covered elsewhere on other forum sites". If that were actually the case, then I have to say, all these people who nonetheless ask repeatedly for a droid forum here must just be stupid. However, numerous seemingly bright people have challenged this claim that seems to be the basis for blocking the addition of the DROID forum. But it's not my call. It is the call of the owners and admins of XDA. My request as a user is: Please, at least resolve it one way or the other.
As I wrote in this post here, at the end of the day, if nothing more, if you've got valid reasons for not opening this widely asked-for forum at XDA, then at least have the courtesy to SAY SO, and to at least provide a suitable re-direct link to the most useful DROID development community sites on the web -- placed within in a STICKY within the General and ANDROID General Forums suitably named something clear like: For DROID devices, we recommend these resource links.
To me that would provide a suitable closure on the issue, and give people seeking Droid development help a doorway to help, vs a bottomless pit with no answers at all.

[Q] SE LiveView Forum

There should be a SE LiveView Forum. I bought one when they first came out and it was pretty boring because of no developement. I picked up a new phone and thought I would have another go of the SE LiveView, dig it out of the draw and found out there are some pretty cool plug-ins for them now.
When searching XDA it seems like users ask questions in other sub-forums. I think it all should be in one forum for easy access and help support this little dude.........
And there is currently no forum site regarding it, so it would be good to get a head start.
What you think?
I think it's more of an accessory, And this is a mobile device forum, as in handsets, Although there was a large thread about it in the Accessory forum
Hi
I hope this is ok to post but I also have a liveview and wanted a place dedicated to it
So I have created a site st
Http://www.machman.co.uk/lv
It's a bit lacking content at the moment but obviously it needs members to start to add stuff
Hopefully it can be a good place to find info about the liveview

No One X/One S Forum in Compact View?

As the thread title states. I can see the devices in the Expanded forum list but not the compact view. Why is that?
I just noticed this myself about 5 minutes ago. Will pass it on to the admin. Thanks for the heads up
Thanks.
I wasn't expecting a One X forum until a release date was announced and I only use the Compact View. So to find it packed with so many threads was a bit disappointing because now I have SOOOO much to catch up with. Can't believe there's a 50 page thread already (and I have more than the default number of posts per page!!)

Congested Pixel 6 Pro Forum

Hello
I noticed that the forums for Pixel 6/Pro are 1 page for all topics but with filters. I find this will become too congested.
Are we not using the standard format for the device forums where individual forum for Development, Questions etc?
When XDA changed to using XenForo (almost a year ago now), this flattened format was also adopted for all new device forums. It has worked quite well so far, and by using the filter buttons at the top you get pretty much exactly the same experience as you would with the old style of separate forums.
ok
