[APP] [REQ] twgtg launcher - Epic 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

*Mods if I'm posting in the wrong section my bad just move it*
I've been searching for twgtg launcher that works for the epic 4g . It comes pre installed in the Androea Galaxy theme (my bad if I spelled it wrong) which I think looks great but I. Like to flash different themes and want to keep using that launcher . Can anyone link the post for that launcher in the epic 4g forum. TIA

Just pull the API out of that theme and put it in whatever rom you want. Probably called twlauncher30.apk or something similar.

Ok but the thing is that the launchers dock background is also themed to go with the rest of the theme and I want to have a clear background on the dock

Anyone else know where I might find the launcher

Can I get the "Fresh" styled launch bar on a different ROM?

For some reason I really like that launcher bar at the bottom of Fresh 0.5.3. But I'm curious to take another ROM for a spin just for the fun of it.
Is there a file or theme that I can use to put that launcher back? I can't seem to find one, but thought I'd ask to be sure.
TIA
Take it out of development and go into General or Q&A.
Search the market for launchers.
But I think this would be a development issue. It's a matter of if anybody else out there has noticed a mod or .zip that somebody has developed that changes only the style of the launcher bar. Not looking for ADW, ahome, or or another launcher apk. Just a .zip file. Just a random shot in the dark to the forum.
If it helps that bar is from espresso ui

It is a Metamorph, look it up on the market, or better yet, here on xda. basically it is an easy way to theme your phone.
I use to use fresh only because of the bar. Now I'm using DC ROM with the bar.

Yeah konikub makes it, sorry if spelt it wrong. Go check themes and apps he does a lot of good work. I can't post links yet but its somewhere

Basically what you are looking for is an expresso rosie. There should be plenty of themes that you can apply that use that rosie. I know konikub has made a couple of themes for DC. I believe that at least one of them is expresso. May want to give that a shot.

Ummmm....I second that motion..lol
I just finished a new beta for theme-porter. Wht i added was a "hdpi-to-mdpi" toggle accompanied by a renaming loop which will rename the appropriate folders. I just gave it a whirl by testing on framework-res of this galaxy s nexus theme on a D/S framework-res cm6 rc3. Results are not too bad actually, need some minor touch-ups. I'll post that beta in a few on my thread.
Here u go Link
There's galaxy s themes for ADWLauncher on the market. Their not "full" themes, but they change your icons and wallpaper giving you at least some of the "feel" of it. You can also put horizontonal scrolling and the scrolling dots at the top, as well as change the notification bar color though CMsettings.

thanks danesham, I have seen your theme porter before. I wasn't sure if it was going to work. Will give it a go.
Ive looked around for galaxy s ADW themes but I couldn't find any, are they on the market? Are they called Galaxy S theme?

GO Launcher docks ?

Hi,
I've been searching but couldn't find - are there any custom docks for GO Launcher ? There's many for LauncherPro, but not for GO...
I've tried some that were made for LP but then it asks me to resize them and it doesn't look "right".

Have you tried the new GO Launcher EX? IMHO, it is head and shoulders above any other launcher out there. The new EX version has added support for themes.
The devs are also updating constantly, as well as adding themes. There's only a couple on there at the moment, but the Classic one is pretty neat.
Hi, yes, my old GO launcher offered a download of EX version but there are too few themes at the moment so I guess all we need to do is wait, unless someone else starts making custom themes...

Yeah, I'm up for trying that.. have emailed the dev asking for any instructions/guide etc.
Do you know some custom dock icons special for Go Launcher

Did you not read the posts above?!?!

Ok let me ask again. Icon pack specially for this launcher. Not for LP or ADW. Just icons.
If docks means dock icons than is my bad

Killer apps from the dev. Even though I have been with Launcher Pro plus, I fell in love with the Go Launcher at first try.
Go SMS is a sexy chick for all the sammy users as the stock sms app is a ****ty ui app.
Go SMS rocks......

Launcher pro theming help

I want to use launcher pro but im quite confused on how to theme it and where i can find themes too. If someone can aid me that would be wonderful. Thanks

Certain aspects of Launcher Pro are not that theme-able for noobs. For example, the widget backgrounds are not png images but hard coded colors. However, XDA member Signals23 has put together several themes and updates them regularly. Here is the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=783427
Also, if you check out the forums over at launcherpro there are a few others floating around. I know Benny879 from Droidforums has put together a Gingerbread theme and also a Galaxy S theme for Launcher Pro.

Ok, I got the themes thing down. Now I'm seeing different lock screens, different homescreen menus, as far as the bottom of the screen with phone, internet, mail and things like that. How can I get the ones I'm liking?

I just flashed cyanogenmod and at the bottom of the main screen I have a phone icon, menu icon and the internet icon. But I've seen others that have phone, Gmail, internet and a few others

That is all in the settings of the launcher you are using. I'm using launcher pro and have a different layout with the matted blues theme. Lock screen is widgetlocker. (Highly recommend) With battery status widget and minimal text widget.
I think you're talking about docks, widgetlocker themes, and whatnot. These aren't included in themes, people gather them from different places and put them together.
Depending on what home app you're using, you may be able to change the dock background. All home replacement apps (at least the major, reputable ones) allow for changing of dock icons. Head over to the Android Themes section and check out the stuff there. The "Post Your Homescreen" thread would be a good place to look and get ideas. I'm sure there's some noob guide to theming.
If you want your lockscreen to look like the screenshots you see, get Widgetlocker. It's around $2, but more than worth it. There's a thread of themes to change your sliders, check it out if you decide to buy the app. Also check out the FAQ thread for WidgetLocker to help you figure it out.
The three most popular home replacement apps are LauncherPro/LauncherPro Plus, ADW Launcher/ADW Ex, and Go Launcher Ex. My personal favorite is ADW Ex, a lot of people are die-hard LP+ users. I personally don't care for Go, it felt kind of clunky and tacky to me, but a lot of people like it because it has the features of paid launchers for free.
All of the home apps I mentioned allow for changing the dock background except for the free ADW (as far as I know). You can find dock backgrounds and icons here on xda in the themes section.
Have fun!

And here are the icons if you want to use them I did not make these. All credit goes to ManUp. He did a great job on them. Do not flash this zip, just open it up and the icons will be there.

Not at all, actually I was gonna ask you where you got the 960*800 MB wall. When I was on CM7, I would only run the nightlies that Matted Blues was compatible with... absolutely my favorite theme evar. The only version of that wallpaper I could find was too small, you mind attaching it for me?
I wear dresses and wax my eyebrows, but that doesn't make Matted Blues girly
