Custom Tablet Sleeve - Under $5 - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Accessories

So I'm a cheap guy and decided to make my own tablet sleeve. I forgot to take photos while I was making it but here are some photos of the aftermath.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Get 2: Craft Foam Sheets, about 1/8in thick (8.5in x 11in)
2 Fabric Squares, Walmart has $1 fabric squares that are just the right size
Some thread
Pencil
Ruler
Sewing Machine
STEPS:
1. Cut both the craft foam sheets to the size of your tablet (the glass side)
1.1 Iron the fabric if you want
2. Fold the fabric in half nice sides together
3. The foam is going to be placed on the folded fabric
Place the long side of the foam next to the crease in the fabric
At this point, use the ruler to trace around the 3 sides of the foam at a distance of about 1/2 inch. So that you have an outline of the foam that is larger on 3 sides by 1/2 inch.
4. Do the same to the other fabric
5. Keep the fabric folded and cut out the outline (when done you should have a piece of fabric that is like 2 tablets next to each other.
6. Do this to the other piece of fabric
7. Now fold one of the fabric pieces in half so that the not nice side is together
8. Put one of the foam pieces in-between the fabric and in the middle
9. Do this to the other one too
10. Sew REALLY close to the foam but not on the foam for both pieces
11. Sew both parts together on the three sides with the extra fabric about 1/8in away from the foam
12. Cut any excess fabric off
13. fold inside-out
14. If you understood my really awful directions you should have a decent tablet sleeve!

logitech bt headphones: headband modification-reinforcement

http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showpost.php?p=1192307&postcount=6
I made a reinforcement on the middle of the headband
use a little piece of plastic (the one used on memory card case should be OK)
cut a little piece 8x50mm
scotch tape
nylon reinforced mailing tape (19mm or 3/4")
yellow glue, or Krazy glue if you don't have
if you have yellow glue, apply a bit evenly on both, wait till the glue almost dry, then put them together, use a clip to hold for overnight
if you use Krazy glue, use scotch tape to hold the plastic piece, apply the glue slowly along the edge till you see the gap is filled, use a clip to hold them for overnight
once the glue got dried, use nylon tape to wrap the headband (from 5mm or 2" from the center), wrap it nice and neat, and tight
hope this reinforcement can slow down the crack development

Car Holder, my trick

Good afternoon.
Finding accessories for this phone is really a PITA. However I 've found a trick for the car holder.
Before this phone I had a samsung galaxy note 2 with a car holder designed for it.
I've discovered that the axon 7 with the original case fits in in this car holder. It's somewhat smaller, but the phone is firmly held, and has never fallen since 3 months.
bonus: the side buttons are free, and accessible.
Put your phone in a sandwich bag and surround the edges with tape. Cut a piece of soft copper sheet metal so that it exactly covers the face of the phone and slightly wraps over the top. Tape it down tightly. Draw big arrows on the copper pointing to the buttons or mark their location on a template. Put that in another sandwich bag. Mix up some epoxy and get fiberglass tape ready. Fold 2-4 layers of fiberglass over the bottom of the phone so it goes half way up the back and about 1 inch up the front (this is the mount reinforcement). Wrap 4-5 fiberglass layers horizontally around the phone and stay below the buttons. Wrap 2-3 layers of fiberglass vertically. Let it cure somewhere warm. Vacuum seal it if it's getting loose. Get a bright light and a small motorized grinding wheel. Roughly cut the fiberglass off the front of the phone, leaving some wrapping around. The copper should be easy to spot when the grinder has passed through the fiberglass. Pull that patch off and discard it. Trim the top band until you can bend it down enough to clear the phone. Pull the outer sandwich bag off. Pull the copper plate off. Pull the phone out. Finish trimming the fiberglass until it looks good. Cut a hole for the USB port. Glue your creation to a base with epoxy putty. Cover it with epoxy paint. Add felt pads or slippery tape to tighten the fit and protect your screen. Tada! Custom holder that will never drop your phone.
Earlier model that I made for an X Pure (another phone with no mounts):

Made my own case with pen holder!

After seeing no choices for a regular bumper style case with a pen holder, I decided to get creative and made one for myself. I used this Poetic Turtle Skin case (I have it on all the tables in my house). Then I got these pen holder tabs.
Using an exacto knife I made a tiny cut in the top edge of the case, just barely long enough to equal the width of the pen holder loop. I had to do it slowly and repeatedly cut away until I made it through the thick rubbery material. I think this case will work the best for this because of the durable rubber material should continue to split. Then I pushed the loop through on the inside. I didn't try to adhere the inside tape to the case because the tablet will hold the tab in place, plus the snug fit of the loop through the rubber is pretty tight.
It's been working well and holding up great for me for the past 2 months. I've included some pictures so you can see what it looks like.
Hope this helps someone else out.
How does the tablet sit in the case with the mod? I tried the same thing with a more slim fit case and it prevented the edges of the case from covering the tablet at that spot due to the thickness of the sticky pad.

It has worked out very well and there's no chance it will come out. There is a slight bump along the top edge but it's really negligible and doesn't bother me or my use of the tablet. It still covers the entire device and protects the edges.
Ok see
thats a nifty pen holder

DBrand skins review (hyperblack titanium and matte black w/ true color yellow)

Most people on here are probably very familiar with DBrand by now. I think their quality speaks for themselves at this point. i've started using their skin since my galaxy s7, then lg g5, lg g6 and now pixel 2 xl. When you purchase a back skin for the pixel 2 XL , it comes with both the precision fit and standard fit. The logo comes with 9 pieces so if you mess up during the application or if they come off down the road, there are backups. I tried both the precision fit and the standard fit in 2 different color combinations and I will go through each.
Precision fit for the back in hyperblack titanium (metal series) with copper (metal series) logo
Installation:
Pain in the butt, time consuming. My first time using this and it was annoying to apply. You start from the bottom by lining up the usb port. The cut outs are, as the name states, precise. However, the skin was a little short up top so I had to stretch it quite a bit to make it fit better. The precision fit wraps the entire back, including the sides and the corners. Again, I had to stretch the tabs that goes around the corners a little bit to make the fit better and it was concerning because I was afraid I would rip off the corner tabs as I was stretching them. However, as you can see it was OK. I used a hairdryer in the end to heat up the sides and corners to smooth them out. The installation of the logo was easy, i used a pair of tweezers to apply it and the fit was perfect. The whole process took around 25 minutes for me.
Quality:
This texture, as the name states, is metal. you can feel the lines that make the metal texture/pattern as you run your fingers across it. It definitely provides a bit more grip to the back of the phone. The skin will protect the phone from scratches, but because it has some thickness to it as well, I think it will protect the phone from potential minor dents.
Case friendly? No. I tried it with Zeking Ultra Slim TPU case, the Crave SLIM Guard Protection Series Case, the Rhinoshield Crashguard and the Rhionshield SolidSuit. They all took the corner tabs along with it as I removed the case. This makes me wonder how long will those corners actually last as you take it in and out of pockets. And because i have a drone and to put it in the phone holder of the remote would require the case to be removed, I had to move on to the standard fit skin.
Price: $10.95 USD for the back skin (includes precision fit and standard fit) and the logo
Standard fit for the back in matte black (matte series) with yellow (true color series) logo and glass skin
Installation:
A breeze. Lined it up from the top where the camera and flash modules are and go from there. I had to stretch it a little bit near the bottom but it was easy. Again, used a hairdryer in the end to heat up the sides and corners to smooth them out. The installation of the logo was easy, I used a pair of tweezers to apply it and the fit was perfect. And the skin for the glass portion (where the camera and flash modules are) simply goes on top of the back skin. The whole process took less than 10 minutes for me.
Quality:
The matte skin feels smoother than the true color and metal series. Feels almost the same as the back of the phone without the skin. Unlike the true color or metal series, I don't think the matte will provide more grip. The skin will protect the phone from scratches but because it has some thickness to it as well, I think it will protect the phone from potential minor dents.
Case friendly? Yes. Tried it with the 4 cases mentioned above, and all were fine.
Price: $14.85 USD for the back skin (includes precision fit and standard fit), logo and glass skin.
Overall:
Good quality, not so easy to install for the precision fit, but a breeze for the standard fit. However, it is pricey. Comes out to around $33 CAD after conversion (free shipping if you buy over $20 USD) about $16 CAD a set. For clumsy people like myself and with my luck, I will likely drop the phone at some point when it just so happens to be out of the case therefore it's worth it for another layer of protection.

How To Guide How to keep your case on the front of the phone

Alright, after months of trying to nail this problem down I finally have a good solution!
I've tried a few different cases on my fold3 and none of them really held well on the top screen when folded and in my pocket. It would start sliding off. So I finally have a solution. Get yourself some good double sided tape (I suggest some type of 3m tape This for example) and measure you a piece of tape that is length of the case that touches the phone that isn't on the screen. Then take a sharp knife and cut a very thin strip of tape. Put that strip on your case and then put the case on the phone. Press hard and hold it there for a bit and then BAM it's not going anywhere again. If it's done right it will not be noticable (see pics I've attached) unless you look closely it's really clean and nice looking to me.
In the pictures you can see the black strip of tape that came with the case that wasn't super useful but what useful was my piece of tape.
I have been lucky in that my cases have not had this issue, but I agree, if you need too, there is no shame in using tape to keep this thing protected.
Just use good quality stuff.
This is the stuff I have and I LOVE IT... https://smile.amazon.com/25Meter-Double-Adhesive-Display-Housing/dp/B071D5CKCX
Good solution, just easy.
Unfortunetly fold series and other folded devices need specially cover.
I have fold 2 1,5 year and few covers:
Ringke slim. Good cover but even pieces of double tape after take off i saw particles of dust and sand.
Next i bought Spigen armor pro. Great protection but a lot of bulky and even mount with force for good fit after few weeks and take off i saw few white dots on the frame from probably few particles sand.
It was little frustrating because I always to take care my devices and carry without any other stuff in my pocket.
4 days ago i told "stop" covers with use tape for hold on the device.
Without case fold is really beautifull and touch metal in every time is really pleasant .
I read topics on reddit about "caseless fold devices" and a lot of people have enjoy use folds without case.
After that I use my device only with original leather back cover, without front cover.
Admittedly 2 days ago drop my fold from pocket on the floor. It drop edge front frame but after that is only scratch and rest device survive well
I have béen using a dab of clear silicone sealant. Holds well, and comes off by rubbing it with a cloth.
After a few months of searching, I just gave up and use whichever is the slimmest case without an adhesive. It made more than a few scratches on the side of my screen and I just decided not to give a crap about it, it doesn't go over the main screen anyway.
