faster cpu but lower MP camera... also is the nexus coming out for tmobile? and when is it coming out??
Get the Galaxy S2 now (especially for 400) and sell it later on once the Tmobile Nexus comes out....
Get the SGS2. We are getting ICS soon and we have good devs here. Galaxy Nexus doesn't have external SD which is a deal breaker.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
get the s2, the nexus isn't anything special just a overhyped s2 for Verizon plus the Tmobile compatible version might not even come to the US
if it does you can sell the s2 for 300 and just upgrade to the nexus if it's even worth it

Galaxy note hehe

I'm thinking either a white galaxy s II or an lte version like the sky rocket. I think the note is GSM only so far.

epic touch in white will launch on jan 8th tentativley so its not related that is all I can release

The Galaxy Nexus folks
If that is the case, the wife might "upgrade" to my current ET4G and I might have to pick up a white one or whatever is in store

If OP is saying "Galaxy S" device then its not the Nexus, but something not radically different. I would guess the Galaxy SII with the 720p HiDef screen with dual core 1.5ghz ?
But also Samsung has said they will preview the next generation S3 at the big CES electronic show in January, said to be released in Spring.

I was informed that Sprint will carry the Nexus (galaxy s phone or not) January would seem to be the right time to announce it. Of course it's possible my source was wrong. Either way Samsung products are welcome

Read an article about it on android blog but now I can't find it. However, supposedly Intel will be unveiling something right before Sprint goes. Found this other article with their ideas.

Any opinions on the Mobilicity Galaxy S III?

Just wondering how any users of the Mobilicity Samsung Galaxy S III are finding the phone so far? Debating between this and waiting for the next Nexus to replace the ol' G2X.

If you are going to wait for the next nexus then the galaxy s4 will be on the horizon..... Get where I'm going?
This phone is killer... I am set until the galaxy s4 myself.

I got my GS3( SGH-t999V) From WIND and I have not regretted it one bit. I upgraded from the nexus s and I'll tell you that it's worth every penny. Like snake said, if you want it just get it cause you will always be waiting for the next big thing

The GS3 rocks, excellent colors, light, fast. This is by far the best I have tested. I agree with the others, if you don't get it, you will always be waiting for something better.

Help me decide. Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note?

Getting a new AT&T phone on Tuesday and can't seem to pick between the Galaxy Note or the Galaxy S3. I know the specs for each and will be replacing the stock firmware with AOSP, so I'm pretty indifferent about stock software features. Tell me about your experiences with these phones and what you would recommend.

I have both while i love the notes screen size my s3 is smokin fast!! But the s3 seems a little small after having the note for months...they r both great phones the s pen is nice on the g note it all comes down to what ur looking for u cant go wrong either way!

can you wait until August 29?
Samsung will be * supposedly* announcing the Galaxy Note 2.
but if you can't wait. go with the S3. the Galaxy Note is almost a year old (but not for the US).
Thanks guys. If the Note 2 is announced soon, I'll still have 15 days to return my old one .
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Just because they announce the Note 2 doesn't mean we will see it stateside for months.
I have both phones. Love them both but the SGSIII edges it out. I will probably make make the Note my phone for work to give a little more screen to read exchange mail, etc. on.

That's tough. I have both, the S3 is faster and the screen is crisper. But having that much realestate on the Note is so nice!
The S3 seems so tiny. lol
I honestly never understood the market for the Galaxy Note, I know everyone has different tastes and needs, yes it has a 5.3 inch screen and S-Pen, but seriously if screen size is such a major factor you might as well hold up a nexus 7 to your head..Least thats how I feel, the 4.8 on the S III i think is really pushing the limits when it comes to phones, beyond 5 I feel it might as well be a tablet...so personally I'd say the S III if you find that you like the note then wait for the Note 2 to come stateside.
The Note was a great phone but a tad bulky to be comfortable. I thought it was great at first but started missing the size of my skyrocket. There will be tons of accessories and development for the S3 as well.
Sent from my i747 running CM10
i would still suggest to wait until August 29 to see what the Galaxy Note 2 will offer.
if it has the potential to offer a lot, i would get that phone. but if not, get the S3.
and there's also the re-stocking fee to keep in mind with if you decide to get a phone right away, then return it for a different device.
I'll be getting Gnote for now. Thank you everyone for you input.

Need an opinion.

My friend has a at&t galaxy note 1 and wants to change with me for my galaxy s3 it's the T-Mobile version I know I can use 4g with the at&t note by flashing a T-Mobile modem. My question is if I do change is it a good deal is the galaxy s3 a better phone or is the at&t Note better. I will like honest opinions about this I want to make the right decision one that I won't regret. Thanks.

It really depends on what you use your phone for. I, personally, would keep the S3. The S-Pen stylus isn't very useful to me and I find the large footprint of the Note cumbersome. As far as horsepower goes the S3 has the edge, but not by a large margin.
At best IMO they are equal, or maybe the s3 has an edge but I really don't think there's anything other than the bigger screen that the note1 does better than the s3. The note2 is a better phone, better processor and better screen than both the others.

I use my phone very often I work repairing computers and some time's I got clients without internet and I use my phone's data to access the net and download some programs that I need in the moment for specific clients I love the way my galaxy s3 performs but I was thinking on the bigger screen but I need a phone that I can depend on for my work.

I'd stay with the s3. Note 1 is huge. Just downright awkward. If you don't put your phone in your pocket. Then you might like it. But hardware wise, s3 wins. Latest and greatest CPU and gpu over the note 1.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
Dude no way. S3>note 1.
Keep the s3...and I doubt you can flash a t mobile modem on and att phone? Or vice versa

OK thanks I think I will stay with my s3 it does the job I need I was thinking in the big screen but not in the hardware.thanks all for your opinions it was of great help and I'm glad I asked first and didn't make the mistake of changing my s3 I really appreciate your opinions and help.
