Just wish I could understand it.

Still beautiful to watch

No mhl adapter? Geez.
I voided my warranty and your nexus.

Its Not the real Box...

This seems very suspicious. Yes, its the real phone, but why the big blank box with the phone already on+manuals missing+tangled up cables?
So technically it IS an unboxing. Just not an official one. I could stick my cat in a box and pull her out and put up a video saying cat unboxing
Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk

It's a review model, that's why.

i want it... cant understand but its a damn nice device

Really can't wait for this awesome phone!

a SIM card and battery were already inside the phone which was inside a plain and empty box.
man, if you want to do a review, go ahead but don't lie or try to deceive us because this would hurt your credibility, if you really care.
This guy is full of BS.

It's so freaking smooth. Fast.
I want that browser on my nexus s now.
The camera is soooooo fast omg.

Hhm, the back cover does not appear to be very robust. Looks like it would not survive multiple open/close procedures...

Yes. It is a pre-release preview phone. It's not the final model, of what I understood from the video on and the comments.

What about "Oh. Going to use it a little bit, then put it back in just to show people how it was before."??? If you notice, there was also a huge lack of space management in that box... maybe because there was a battery there before. Think before you talk.

1st: Why the heck you wanna do 1000000 opening/closing procedures in a row?
2nd: It is a preview model, maybe they'll make it more robust in the final model.
3rd: Just be careful with it. End of story. At least it isn't a 99% glass PoS like the iPhone.

Don't know if this has been posted yet either:

I open the back of my Thunderbolt at least once per day to swap the battery. That means hundreds of times per year.

My 4S feels a lot better than my GSII...and it's a "PoS". Dumbass Fandroid. (PS- I love both my 4S and my GSII)

The back case of Desire felt extremely clumsy, but in the end it didn't break. I'm kinda sure the case is same here.

Oh, after watching this youtube video "unboxing", again love this phone...
Like the way the buttons hide when they are not needed

Profit!!!

Why would you even think it's an unboxing? Just because he pulled the phone out of a box at the beginning? Or because the thread title says so?
"Recensione" means review, not much unboxing going on there, at least not with the official packaging.

It's true, Italians DO use their hands to talk!

Liquipel/Oleophobic Nano-Coating Discussion (For Galaxy Nexus)

I would like the coating done. (They actually do any phone, regardless of the list. But you take on full liability).
The problem is that they put your phone into a vacuum chamber. That isn't good. I mean the galaxy nexus has a BAROMETER (pressure sensor). I have a feeling the process would break that sensor.
Any ideas?
I wish some company could do something like this & support the GN. They could always remove and reinstall the baromenter
HzO is being marketed by Zagg. Now I wonder who came up with the tech first.
If they were putting your phone in a hyperbaric chamber you'd have to worry but they're taking force OFF the barometer. You don't really have to worry about it.

Hyperbaric oxygen chamber apply positive pressure, not a vacuum.
I don't like the idea of the owners taking responsibility for the application process. I'm sure many others would agree.
I just like watching the YouTube video lol. I will wait till the manufacturers start to do this to the phones, I don't feel the need to shower or swim with my Nexus ATM.
I'd imagine that the testing they are doing on devices possibly has to do with making sure that their process will actually penetrate fully. I wish these guys had been around the last time I was in that area. I'm pretty interested in it, and have zero concerns about taking on full liability since dunking my phone under water isn't something I'd intentionally do. However, I'm a security nut and there's no way I'd mail my phone off into the wild, even if I did a Nandroid, then full wipe/back to stock. I'd much rather walk in and have it done.... and my laptop, and anything else I can find just for fun.

Probably neither. I have the impression that the technology has been around for quite some time. These guys do it too and have been in business since 2004. It's new to me though!. http://www.p2i.com/applications
So has anyone had this done? I have been looking into this for a while. Also interested in their gadget film.

Autostarts!

I'm not sure if everybody uses this, but Autostarts is one of my favorite root apps and I recommend it to all of my friends who have rooted. I don't see too many people talking about it anymore so I figured I would remind everyone of this awesome app. It allows you to prevent any apps from running on their own. After using Titanium Backup to debloat my ROM, I then open up Autostarts and run down the list and disable any apps that I don't want to startup without my say so. I did this on my Epic 4G Touch and never needed to flash a single custom ROM because I was able to get the stock ROM running flawlessly. It is an invaluable tool to me and I recommend it highly.

Nope, ditched the iPhone yesterday for a One X! Back to Android for me
I knew you would come back to the dark side bro.. L o L.. HTC/ samsung/ sony..etc etc.. As long as it's ANDROID..
Good to have ya back..
I always intended on coming back, just needed the right phone and let me tell you, this One X is definitely the right phone. I was really hating that iPhone towards the end, I felt like I was neutered with that infernal thing. It had its merits but just can't compare to a high end android phone. I can't tell you how good it feels to be back on Android. It's like coming home after a looooooooong trip.

The one X looks nice but I have had many a bad and sad experience with HTC. Let me tell ya I went through alot of Htc's.
They did state they were going to concentrate more on the quality not the quantity this year.. We shall see...we shall see. As for me Me wants the SGSIII. WOOT.

Don't even get me started on iTunes. It was the bane of my existence for the entire time I had the iPhone.
HTC definitely focused on quality with this thing. If you have an AT&T store near you I would go check it out, you might be surprised.

Yeah but that was because I was frustrated with it and hadn't gotten used to it yet. I built up a love/hate relationship with it over time, but the love part eventually went sour. I did really love all the games on it, but that only went so far for me. I do think it's a great device, it's just not for me.
I just can't imagine playing games on that tiny little screen... No matter how good they were..
Like I said good ta have ya back Mr Metal.

Me neither. Especially after having the E4GT. I used to love playing games on my iPhone 2g & 3g, over the G1, Hero, or OG Epic. I haven't picked either of them up except to use iTunes while running and to use Sleep Cycle since I bought this phone. The screen feels so tiny, it's hard to imagine using that small screen as long as I did. Lol

Have you try Gemini App Manager? Kinda like Autostarts but better
I've been using autostarts forever, since I had my Samsung intercrap, it was the only thing that would keel that POS above 40mb free ram. Still use it actually have it on every android device I have, Kindle Fire, ET4G, Evo 4g and photon works great especially being able to kill the Widgets I don't use even tho I use the apps they go with, when u disable the widget it removes it from.the widget list so it declutters the menu which is nice

[Q] Where to buy GSM Galaxy Nexus NOW in US?

What is the best place to buy the GSM Galaxy Nexus currently that actually has the device in stock?
It seems like prices have been increasing recently. Less than a month ago on May 31 the device could be had for a mere $370 including tax and shipping from eBay DailySteals. Then it was $390 on Amazon including tax and shipping. Prices at Amazon have been creeping up slowly since and now Expansys is out of stock. Google Play puts it at about $445 including tax and shipping. Newegg still seems to have it for $410 including tax and shipping. Is there anything better out there?
Don't buy a Samsung product, look at all the complaints first about the GN. It seems nice since its a google experience, I would wait for the Iphone 5 honestly, can't wait to make the transition!
ignore the troll lol, the phone is amazing. It does have lag, i hate to admit it but it's fact but after ROM's and kernels you will barely notice it(im not i love the gnex i just won't lie to myself about an inevitable fact) the play store would be the best place to get it tho. It's the only way of getting it in the US with a proper warranty and you get better support.
I have the phone already. A friend is asking where to buy it.
I have the impression that they have run out of Nexuses (Expansys) or are at least running quite low (Amazon) and that this has been affecting prices. Samsung has probably been producing S3s instead.
In the US, I would never buy the phone anywhere but Google Play. Full warranty and support and a good price.

Thanks, but I'm looking for brand-new. It seems like used prices are quite high anyway, probably because the one was never released by carrier here in the US.
Right now it seems like Newegg is the best option.

No body is forcing you to believe anything. The housing of the device Im using is not the final product so even if I uploaded a pic of the device you still wouldn't believe is the Note3.
I wish they hadn't closed the other thread started by Admiral Sir Manley Power. He has a pretty good rep in the Note 2 forums and I give him the benefit of the doubt. Besides, it's been know that Samsung has shipped units of the Note 3 to carriers for testing. From what I've read, they shipped 3 or 4 different versions so the final product hasn't been decided yet.
Also forgot to mention, the speaker is now on the bottom, between the pen hole and the usb port!!!!!! Very excited about that!!

This, a million times. A mod should just lock the thread because:
- OP is breaking his NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) ---> Legal issues
- It could or could not be fake; we have no way or proving either
- It's just going to start a war between people who believe and those who don't
Seriously, just wait for the damn thing to come out. When I worked for Sprint and Verizon, we'd have reps from every manufacturer come in to show us upcoming devices. I once asked an HTC rep if they (the company itself) were behind the numerous and convenient leaks out on the internet, and the guy said "Yes, some of them."
This thing is going to leak one way or another. So just lock the thread.
As this is not a Note II it can be discussed in the other device sticky
Although I do not see the point
Stating you have something that you cannot prove or show or talk too much about is taunting not development
It would be different if there was a near release date but there are no release dates as of yet.

Interesting Experience at T Mobile today

So I go in to buy a Black N3 today.
I walk in and what up to the guy at the counter.
He says, "Can I help you"
I says, "I'm here for a Note 3"
He says, "You exchanging one"
I said, "You having a lot of returns are ya"
He says, "Uhhh No, just asking"
I thought it was strange that he would ask me right off the bat if I was doing a return?
Of course I called them an hour before and they had Black ones, when I walked in, they didn't have any.
You suppose they exchanged them out in that time?

The imei of the Note 3's weren't being properly read on the network yet so a lot of folks were calling stores saying they had defective devices. Some store reps hadn't read the internal email yet and have been exchanging devices in hopes of "fixing" the issue. It's been resolved by now.

Little bit off topic but does tmo stores charge a restocking fee for returning unopened devices?
I exchanged mine yesterday. It would intermittently stop registering touches unless you were using the S-Pen. Sometimes it would do that for several minutes. It got very annoying. It may have been doing that since day one, but I used the S-Pen only for the first several days. I then started using my finger and noticed it. When I exchanged mine, I used my finger only and and its been working flawlessly. For once, it even did the issue for the sales guy too. I'm glad I returned it too. It turns out, Knox may be a new generation of E-Fuse triggers and I had rooted my first Note 3. I'm leaving my new one unrooted for now until all that jazz gets sorted out. I remembered I can use Helium to backup/restore apps and their data without root. That was my primary reason for rooting.

He says, "Uhhh No, just asking"
I thought it was strange that he would ask me right off the bat if I was doing a return?
Of course I called them an hour before and they had Black ones, when I walked in, they didn't have any.
You suppose they exchanged them out in that time?

I'm on my second note 3 and both had intermittent touch screen issues.
Tmobile said some how it was my fault because I may have installed an app that effected my phone.
I guess I need to call them back and get a third note 3.

I went to a different store than the original purchase and they wanted to charge me. They said if I goto the original store they may not. Original store is further out.

Wow. They almost charged me last time, I really hope they dont charge me this time. This is really rediculous that we have to pay a fee for a defective device. I would understand if it was only for buyers remorse, but this is a bit sad.

This is exactly why I decided to buy this phone at TMO for retail pricing.
Even without the XDA usual HiJinks, it seems there are issues here.

I started out with them on Voicestream in 2000 and they've always been kinda half-azzed.

Usually a $50 reboxing fee for returning a phone during buyer's remorse but I notice on my N3 box it says $75.
