OfficeSuite Pro 5 Free Today on Amazon AppStore - G2 and Desire Z Themes and Apps

Just a head up for those that dont follow the free app of the day religiously. It retails in the market for $14.99. Pretty nice office document reader/editor.

It's a great deal, but I kinda feel bad for the devs. Doesn't Amazon not pay them anything when their app is free?

It would be nice if I could take advantage of the offer but being in Canada doesn't help

Yeah, it would be so nice for Canadian users to get this app too!

Isnt there a work around for users outside the US to get Amazon Appstore to work? I remember hearing about it awhile back. If you really want the app I would search around for the work around.

If only it worked in uk

Anyone want to buy a new laptop dock? 85$ shipped

I haave an unopened laptop dock that i decided im not going to use after reading reviews so if any one would like it, i can let it go for 85$ shipped? It is unopened/new in box. Paypal only please, and only shipping inside the US. Thanks guys!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1357291
After reading above i don't think someone will be interested in buying it for $85
If you still have an option of returning it do that or wait for ATT to go out of stock
You may be able to sell at this price if you ship to Canada. The AT&T deal for the $50 lapdock is a no-brainer if you live in the US, but us Canadians are unable to purchase from AT&T as they require a US credit card and a US billing address.
There are currently no lapdock deals up here anywhere near that price, unless someone can prove me wrong?
+1 Anyone know any deals?
50 dollar deal is over, 85 is a good price again!

$75 refurbished on AT&T's website is better!
Are you willing to ship to UK?
Did you sell it yet? I could be interested since I live in Canada!
Me too. Ships to florida. P.o. box.

Getjar

This is probably well known, I found out about m.getjar.com, an alternative to Amazon in that you get access to paid apps for free!
Pro: apps such as Beautiful Widgets, Asphalt 6, Wikipedia, Smart Office, Image Shrink; no sign up needed
Con: no updates, less apps than Amazon...
Have fun with it, just gives a bit more variety in terms of the markets one can visit...
Cheers

Wikipedia is already free on the Android Market.

Getjar is legit. It's been around longer than Amazon app market has.

This. Getjar made a couple more popular apps free to try and draw in more people to using it.

GetJar is legit, but most often you'll find their app versions are well behind the official market and Amazon, and you get no updates. So, it's mediocre, at best.
someone pointed me @ ------.net lot's of payed apps for free

You'll probably want to delete that post. Sounds a lot like warez, which will bring the ban hammer down.

Applanet is definitely warez! It is illegal and devs will hate you for using it. Support the devs and buy your apps! Getjar is legit and like mentioned before most of the apps are older and updates are rare. It's a great avenue to try some paid apps before spending $ on them in the Market. Sometimes 15 minutes is just not enough.

Definitely checkout "Documents to Go" or my fav which is SmartOffice.
smartoffice is good but i have officesuite pro only because i got it for 25 cents when it was on sale
I have used them all and so far quick office pro is my favorite. Just smooth and user friendly. I think in the end advice on this thread will be personal as there are a few that are quite good.

I use officesuite. I don't need anything special, so it serves its purpose well.
Quick Office Pro.. easy to use. User friendly..
Just wanted to share that QuickOffice Pro is on sale for $.99. This is quite the steal considering it normally goes for $14.99.
I personally prefer polaris office. It's free but only available on samsung apps store

OfficeSuite Pro is free from Amazon Apps... Usually $14.99. U can give it a shot..

Cerberus...Is it worth buying

Hello people
I was looking for an anti-theft app and did some research and found out that Cerburus is a pretty decent app. Is it worth buying..??
I have installed it and will try the features provided by it. but are there any other app which provide similar feature and is free...??
I know i should just go ahead and buy it but its like 2.99$ which is 200 bucks in my currency. So just wanted to get a clear picture before buying
Thanks
I bought it awhile ago and I think it has been pretty useful. There are some apps that will do some of what it will for free though.

Yes it's worth buying I tried the free trial and very much impressed and paid for it and very happy with it one of the best apps I paid completely worth

i think its worth it, i bought it, wont know how well it works til i lose my phone, soooooo yea.
It can do some great stuff. itll come in handy
I have it and think it has some great features if needed...
It's Best anti-theft that I know
I do not regret every dollar I paid for it

I paid for Cerberus more than a year ago and I love it. It's genius.
Just got my Nexus 4 back, JUST because i had a number and simcard-id, which cerberus sent me after i was drunk enough to lose it/forget it.
400€ more or less is a big difference, so i'll say cerberus is worth every cent.
Can anyone tell me what it does better than a free one like lookout?
another cerberus user
Best app
I got it free from "appgratis" promotion offer...
I bought it long time ago and for me, the best app! Lot of function and work very well.
have to try it. I often get lost phone ;/

Personally, I think it's better (for me) than Lookout because I don't yet believe in anti-virus software for mobile devices. Any of them. It will be needed eventually, probably, but right now, to me it's just wasted CPU cycles and wasted memory blocks.
Cerberus is just what I need. And it does it well. Installed it for the rest of my family too! All paid for. And I'd pay again!

[5-22-14] $10 (1000 Coins) Free in Amazon Apps

Congratulations if you caught the other deal I posted back on the 16th for the $20+ in free coins to use for apps in Amazon App Store.
Today is another one of those deals. This time for 1000 coins (which equals $10 worth). Just do like before and slide to the right of the FAOTD panel in the App Store. There are 5 free apps which gives 200 coins each. You can cancel install after download and still receive the coins.
*These free coins are for today only (5-22-2014)
And, if you missed out on the 2000 free coins from before it is still available. If you purchase GTA: San Andreas ($6.99) with those 1000 coins you just got it won't cost anything and you will get 2000 bonus coins for purchasing. This is $20 worth of coins. If you don't have a Kindle it will need to be purchased off the website. Link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...20&ascsubtag=4baa5fba9c7d4f9ea6faf89633495f6d
Enjoy. :good:
I definitely prefer to not use the Amazon Appstore for things, but this is a pretty good deal.
Note - these coins expire in 1 year, so make sure to buy something with them at some point!

Can you buy apps to us on your GS5 with these "coins" for example could I purchase ROM Toolbox Pro with em'?
Yes, you will just have to download the Amazon appstore onto your phone. However you can delete the store after you download and install an application from it, or greenify/freeze it with TiBu.
It's definitely easier to just purchase apps from your usual web browser though via Amazon, and then go install them as needed directly on your phone.
Edit: this reddit page has all of the direct links: http://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidGami..._1000_amazon_coins_instantly_completely_free/
Just did this and it worked! However the apps on Amazon app store are "ehhh". No ROM Toolbox Pro :/ hard to find good root apps.
Well the developers are the ones who determine if it goes on there, maybe a few of us should tweet him and ask him to put it in Amazon appstore as well?

I agree with you that the Amazon App Store really stinks compared to Google Play. I have $30+ in coins right now and can't find anything to buy. Games might be the best bet. Plex is a great app if you use it and is on sale again for $0.99. Root Explorer is on there which has been a great app for a long time. Kind of have to dig around to find things worth it.
San Andreas is not compatible with the s5 it says
