Always Backup Your Current Rom Before Wiping And Flashing ANY Rom
DFT Installation: DarkTremor's a2sd is installed with DFT Versions
1. Download MAGLDR 1.11
2. Download Frankinstine DROID DFT Version Below
3. Install MAGLDR to your LEO (ROMUpdateUtility.exe)
4. Boot LEO and select in the menu "4. USB Flasher"
5. Run DAF.exe on your computer. Do all steps.
6. Wait while it's flashing.
7. After flashing device will make auto-reset.
8. It should boot directly to Android.
CWR Installation: Having Problems Using CWR? Give THIS A Try.
***I'm using a 250mb Partition For this rom***
1.Download the rom zip and put in the root of you sdcard
2.Boot into Clockwork Recovery do a Nandroid Backup then wipe data/factory reset
3.Scroll down and select install zip from sdcard then choose zip from sdcard
4.Reboot after install is complete

5.Download DarkTremor's A2SD MODD in my downloads section
6.Setup phone and follow THIS to create a ext3 Partition On sdcard
7.Boot into Clockwork Recovery and flash the MODD just like you flashed my rom
8.When flash is complete, Reboot phone and download Terminal Emulator from the market.
9.Open terminal and type:

If you are refering to my account app then it does.I did notice that it stays loading for a while when I first installed the app, For some reason if you turn the phone to landscape it loads fully.So Be Patient. lol But after first load it runs great.

do you have a nand version because the other way to install i dont know how thats why. i have a tmobile version of the HD2

It should, give it a shot and let us know, But do a Nandroid first, the only thing is, its only has locale for US. I can add more if needed.

No problem, and yeah I've actually been waiting too but have not seen any. I've been flashing roms with my nexus one and love flashing through recovery.

I get a boot loop starting from the rotten apple animation>android coin>2 secs of lockscreen.

So Im flashing from Jaw's newest MIUI and I put the new flash.cfg that it requires into CWR so that it would work, and now I think im getting stuck at the boot window where it has the blue android with the blue loop around him, however there isnt a flame around the circle as usualy. My question being: Would the new flash.cfg required for his build mess up the partitioning for this build and not allow it to boot?
EDIT: So it has to do with system ya being 140 in his and needs to be 250 for this one. Question answered.

Sorry man, worked 12 hours today, Im beat, but give this a try, when you wipe/factory reset scroll down to mount/storage and first format boot, system then data. I flashed a different rom the other day and got boot loop too. after i did that it booted right up.

Hi guys. I come here to bring you some bad news
My HD2 has finally died. The mini-USB port is broken. The phone does not charge. I contacted HTC to know what's the status of my warranty, but to send it it has to be stock, and to make it stock i need my battery charged. So, I'll buy an external charger for my battery from Ebay or elsewhere. But it will be a long time til I'm able to actually use my phone again. I can't keep working on this ROM. Why can't I?:
A. I'm going on a trip this July, so even if the phone gets fixed, I don't think it will be before the trip which is in mid-July.
B. I graduated from middle school this year, which means I'm going to high school on August. The school i chose is a boarding school, and it's a very demanding school, academically(is that even spelled right lol?). So that means I won't have time for ROMS or XDA
I just want to say thanks to all the community for the support. I also want to apologize for not finishing this ROM. Maybe someone will use it as a base and finish it.
On a side note, I was lucky. My Sensation arrived on Thursday and the HD2 died today. My mini-review is: The Sensation is the sexiest phone ever, inside out. But, it's not a worthy replacement for the HD2. One of the things that bothers me the most is that the HD2 running Sense 3 has the same amount of RAM Free that the Sensation has. Also, it's a little bit laggy, considering its processor is dual-core. It's fast, but not dual-core fast. But, you know, it's REALLY sexy'.

Working: Practically everything. Camcorder is laggy...
Bugs: Visual Glitches. (The same ones in all GB Sense Roms). Tethering not working. For Youtube to work you need WiFi turned on, you don't need to be connected but it has to be on.

*Important- On first boot, I recommend waiting on lockscreen for 4-5 minutes, so the Rom can finish dexopting and doing all the stuff it has to do . That way, it'll feel faster when you unlock it Also, use the Quickboot app to shutdown/reboot your phone.
Note:
* b4 flashing/patching anything else in system, make sure system partition has enough space for that...
*Disable audible touch tones on first boot for no robot voice on calls.
*Disable quiet ring on pickup, pocket mode and flip for speaker for improved battery life.
*Avoid using live wallpapers, they're a Real waste of RAM

V0.2- Completely based on Kingdom Port for Desire with some changes. Now it's smoother and stabler.
Issues :
Camera shows a white screen. (any help is appreciated)
Weather app is not working, makes your phone go crazy. (sense 3 issue)
You can't switch SD Cards, else the rom won't boot. (unconfirmed)
FC on HTC Location Service. (just hit wait)
FC on Process System. (just wait, or hit wait)
Use quickboot app to shut down your phone, it's included in the rom.

These fixes are inside the rom, and they're mostly apps that weren't working correctly, and Rosie. Also, I removed the EGL fix so you could apply it yourself, because when it's inside the rom, it becomes quite unstable.

As far as I know, Wifi hotspot doesn't work on any Gingerbread Sense Rom. I have no reception at home so I can't try it out.

, If you have problem with Data/Network signal go to Dialer and press: *#*#4636#*#*
Then go to Phone infomation, select: WCDMA preferred
press Refresh than Update and Toggle DNS check (0.0.0.0 allowed)

Congrats, i've ported this Desire rom too (huge thanks to Desire xda devs) for my EU HD2, working quite nice (but it's very hard to load sense after reboot and camera is not working, and other old bugs - power menu not working, some gfx glitches) but everything other seems to be good, perfomance similar to sense 2.1 roms
Since you'll release your version to public, i think people will be glad to have much more stable sense 3.0 rom than others in this forum
pm me if you know how to fix camera or fix sense not loading after reboot (because mine loads only after 2-3 force closes, it's pretty annoying )
if somebody have android.policy.jar from clean kingdom ruu, please upload it here (maybe it will help to solve problem with power menu)
p.s. i'm not a dev, just a regular user

I may try... but I don't have a leo512 to test it, and I have a very slow internet connection right now where I'm at. So I don't think I could put out both Roms today.

What's not ok? that this man spent his time to bring you another themed gingerbread sense rom. if you dont like it then dont download it. But he shouldn't be critisized. there are like three original gingerbread roms everything else floating around is either an imitation with a theme or some apps taken out, but its all the same. the three originals are NexusHD2 gingerbread, MIUI, and CM7 and the rest are imitatations besides some that are built from source like hyperdroid and UD 3.3 but its still a remake of CM7. nothings really new so be kind to each other. some people can get dis couraged and they can be the next one with a major breakthrough. Just some thoughts from a fellow xda member.

I dont think so. Everybody here tweaks the roms a little bit. We add this and remove that.. I would not call me a Dev just by deleting a lot off stuff. But thats my opinion, you just go ahead, and soon we will be flooded with this "Devs"

FAQ
Q: What makes this different from the many other sense 3.0 roms?
A: Umm, not a whole lot when you boil it down. Different RUU basically, different mods.
Q: What is the difference between sense 3 and 3.5? And if sense 3.5 is newer/better why bother still working on sense 3?
A: TBH (with the exception of bliss rosie/quicklaunch) there arent *that* many differences between sense 3 and 3.5...regardless of the rhyme launching with 3.5, I still don't think 3.5 is really meant for single core phones. Do the ports run well? yes..yes they do. But in my experience (and mine only, ymmv) sense 3 tends to run a tad better on the stock kernel than 3.5 does. Also fwiw (and thats not much) sense 3 boots with 50-80 mb of more available ram than 3.5 w/o memory hacks.
Q: Why should I use this instead of "insert rom"?
A: I didn't say you should. If you like flashing a lot of roms, then I'd suggest you give this a shot and see if you like it. Otherwise, I just like sense 3/3.5 and since I will only really run my or my teams (tsm) roms...I've gotten into rom ports. There are a lot of great sense 3 and 3.5 roms out there, for sense 3 specifically: virtuous unity and 3d
Q: Who/What is TSM?
A: TSM = TeamSbrissenMod. Named after the amazing sbrissen, we started on the vzw i500 fascinate. Current devices supported are vivow (sense roms, aosp poolparty); fascinate (resurrection tw rom, aosp poolparty, miui ports, miuiwiz, etc), droid charge (infinity tw rom), and the og inc (aosp poolparty). And tsm parts/mods/etc have been ported to the nexus s4g, other droid charge non-tsm roms, epic 4g, epic touch 4g, i9000, international SGS2, and others I'm sure we are missing. Members currently include (in no particular order): sbrissen, omj, andmer, nitsuj17, times_infinity, imnuts, maddoggin, chopperthedog, withere2, mastamoon,....former members/inactive thefunkbot, navenedrob, bendbowden
Q: What custom kernels are available that work with this rom?
A: Until times_infinity is able to make a new tsm kernel I'm including the stock kernel. However drellisdee has patched 2.3.3 source and his #21 works with 2.3.4 + roms w/o breaking usb mounting. Get it here. Also corcor67 on rootzwiki is working on aosp and sense kernels, follow his thread here to see if/when he implements drell's usb fix.
Q: Are you working on any other rom ports?
A: Umm, yeah. I've kinda gotten addicted to it. I guess that makes me kind of a hypocrite cuz I used to wonder why some people across sense devices could continually port rom after rom without making them 100% first...and now that I do it, I've realized its almost impossible to get something to perfect. 95% is about as close as you really can go (usually).
Q: I'm interested in testing whatever roms you are working on, how can I?
A: I kinda gave up on sending stuff to testers first, because I get restless and then start working on other stuff when waiting to here back from them. I wont usually put something out unless I'm sure its not going to cause the end user problems anyway...and I note all the issues I've found in the rom op's
Q: I want to change the bootanimation or downanimation, where should I put the new one?

*beats...i doubt it would ever work correctly on our phone (if it works for you on other roms or you think it does great...) so I'm not gonna waste time on it...I did remove beats notify from the status bar cuz its annoying regardless
*when toggling wifi, the radio cuts out for 3-4 seconds...not a huge deal imo, but just be careful of it on a phonecall or something (ill see if i can fix it at some point, but no guarantees) edit: might be an issue with 2.3.5 roms using 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 kernels...might not be much we can do til a newer ota

That quick launch widget... Stupid when I first saw it....now the one thing ill miss if I flash this....decisions decisions....there's no way for it to run on 3.0 right besides black magic and human sacrifices?

but atm beyond my abilities

Regardless of how you proceed with 3.5 or your plans for this. I for one hope you work your magic on style/theming.....the one thing that really made gingerbang stand out was the theming (along with betterslate.) you did when I was looking at Roms after I got my inc2

yeah this will probably be the rom i work on going forward theme/mod wise
like ive said i love bliss but there seems to be new 3.5 roms daily, and i do think some people like sense 3 more...but who knows i change my mind daily and abandon projects i start (not the released ones usually) and start other stuff

ext3 as its using stock kernel...once we have a custom one ill convert the script to ext4 (i still dont notice a real difference personally)

i would have to look at the kernel scripts to see what they are formatting. Then just add a different script/rom version that formats ext4

I see you have already added a wake on volume keys...any chance for accurate battery? I'm guessing betterslate won't play nice with a full 3.0 Rom...

I'm just trying it out now! It seems very responsive and smooth, especially in comparison to other Sense 3.5 ROMs, which tend to lag. Cheers!

I'm not much for Sense UI but I've been feeling like a change for a bit so I guess I'll give this some runtesting. One thing, are there any flashable paches which allow me to change the rosie app grid to 5x4 instead of 4x4. I hate wasted space and Sense is just rife with it.

My biggest gripe with Sense 3.5 ROMs is that the available memory easily drops from 100-90MB free to 40-50-ish after boot. How's the memory department on this one?
P.S: Would love if these things were written in the OP

Am flashing this right now, will let you know (not using romcleaner now so will report the 'out of the box' free ram )
Edit: ok so it's not so much, when looking in titanium backup it's 32.9 mb free and in taskmanager its about 85-90 mb free (don't know where you look)
But actualy I don't care much, when using swap, v6 supercharger, deleting apps and widgets I don't use this increases much and it's much faster (also romcleaner helps much, I keep sense widgets and stuff but delete what I don't need)
Also I must say I really love it that the original bliss sense theme (Beige and with the nice venice wallpaper) is back. Thanks to the devs!
Edit 2: After using below scripts in signature performance is still not very well for me, maybe there has to be done some cleaning by the devs (or the rom has to 'settle'). Also my button and keyboard backlights are not working properly. In other sense 3.5 roms there is a setting in the tweaks where you can manage this backlight, can this be added to this rom as wel? It goes on and of randomly now. I really would want to keep the rom but the backlight has to work for me (tried virtuous kernel 9 but this didn't work for this rom)
Edit 3: (sorry for long post). After installing rcmixtweaks I got the backlight settings. Only had to restore Blisssense Rosie and had to install busybox. Now it runs fine for me

Is there much of a difference between this ROM and 'BeatMod BlissSense Hybrid'?

I got it from the signature of the dev in the first post. But I have to say it's not working all like it should i think. It was a workaround to get the backlight working. But you can try and see if it works better for you.

Awesome Rom! As fast as, or faster than beatsmod, my average free ram is 120mb with supercharger option 7. Swap not enabled, just overclocked and supercharged. Smoooth!

I like this mod BUT...is there a way to uninstall GMAIL because it's pretty annoying getting 2 message (1 from sense and 1 from gmail) when i get a gmail email...that's the only thing that will bring me probably to move to another rom if there is no solution
