Flashing
Let's say I have a Nexus Prime (Galaxy Prime) laying around... How would I flash all of this. In what order?

You wouldn't, your Galaxy Nexus would have it installed already.

I wouldn't flash a pre-release build (like this one) if you already have the release build on your Galaxy Nexus...

What if i'm running an old pre release build. How do I flash a .tar... through fastboot ???
Thanks,
Michael

Again, you wouldn't.
This type of release is not a release that can be flashed, you might be able push it all manually, but the release is just for curious people/developers who is looking at the software.

I haven't downloaded myself. I tar file is an archive like a zip file. What's inside? If it is a bunch of files, you will need to manually push them all to your device (like FISKER_Q said) using adb. If it is one image file then just use fastboot.

So I just downloaded it, and it is all the files in the /system partition. You can push them manually via ADB, or you can (or have someone) create a flashable zip and flash through recovery.

A tar file can be flashed through Odin. Since its a Samsung phone I'm sure Odin will support it.

The only thing I have done is simply deodexed the ROM. for those that don't know what this means, to sum it up in a few words is, you can only theme a deodexed ROM. so themers, have fun. This is very close to what our GB update is going to be.

Any ideas? I installed via clockworkmod and did a complete wipe of data/cache/Dalvik.

The first file need to be rename to PG32IMG.zip , flash in the bootloader. A new hboot will be installed.don't scare about locked on it. If you are S-OFF,you can bypass it whenever you want.
More one, after the first flash in the bootloader, you will be redirect to the recovery(HTC one's).you can skip this step, return to your previous rom and install back your preferred recovery. Then return back on it to flash the rom.
The updater script itself is set to make a full wipe so don't need any wipe.just save your file somewhere(or make a backup) for safety .

However, the home screen doesn't rotate like people are saying it does...is there some sort of setting I need to change?

INTRODUCTION
Hello, my name is Jon. I am currently in the process of making a COMPLETE index of ROMs, Recoveries, etc for our phone.
I am ready to open it up as public, but if any developers want their ROM added ASAP, please send me a message with the links to ALL the files needed for the ROM. This includes the ROM, gApps, and can even include some optional tweaks that work with the ROM.
The index will have sections for Marvel, MarvelC, and Universal, so please remember to tell me what it's for.
Just a quick shout out to Google Inc. For without them, I wouldn't have this archive on Google Drive, and second because they raised the free space to 15GB which will allow this index to be more full that it could be before.

FAQ
FAQ
Q: Where is X ROM?
A: If a ROM isn't yet added to the archive, please post the link and I'll add it as soon as I can.
Q: I'm a developer. Can you archive more than one version for my ROM?
A: Upon request, yes, I will add an additional folder to your ROMs section for old versions.
Q: Do you only add ROMs?
A: No. I add EVERYTHING WFS. Kernels, Recoveries, ROMs, Tweaks, and even apps modded so they can work on our phone.
Q: The recovery files aren't flashable... Why?
A: I chose to put them as .img files because I usually flash recoveries with fastboot. If there is a certain recovery you want flashable, let me know and I'll make it.
Q: Will you maintain this regularly?
A: Yes! In fact, this isn't the only phone I have an Archive for! I also have an Archive for the Cricket Huawei Ascend II!

Nice. All in one place. :highfive: You could have something to do with the names of builds, such as adding the date to them. Because if the rom is developed it will be a little difficult.

Thanks.
I like compiling indexes, and I love Android, so I do this for fun.

Absolutely wonderful!!!!! Thank you so much for your work on this.
It has been frustrating to search threads trying to find a Rom - then find one that sounds like I would like it only to find out its not for Marvel C. This has just made my searching so much easier.
Those that create Roms - if your Roms are not already in this listing, I encourage you to pass along the info needed to get them here. This is just absolutely wonderful for us "casual" kind that just wants to find something we love on our phones!
Again - thank you so very much!
No problem. This is what i do when I'm bored. Make Android phone indexes.

Archive updated.
nice thread :good:
Stock Marvelc Virgin Mobile Rom
The Stock Marvelc Virgin Mobile Rom is missing the updater script so I extracted the zip, added the updater script and repacked it. I uploaded the fixed Stock Marvelc Virgin Mobile Rom on Media Fire and here is the link to the rom: http://www.mediafire.com/?uqo4543bxm34r4z
Yeah you right!
