Looks really good. Waiting for your review

I tried this case. Returned it. Poor key quality construction - bad feel and layout. The space bar actually sits lower than the metal case edge, making the space bar practically unusable as your thumb constantly hits the case instead of the bar. Although the design is interesting, the case does not hold the Tab in place when closed. I was excited about this when I first saw it, but it's really not a good case.

I have the keyboard now (It arrived much sooner than anticipated).
I'd like to use it for a while so my opinion about it is well formed.
I had low expectations (due to previous comments posted), but I can say it's much better (construction/quality wise) than previously thought.
I used an Apple wireless keyboard ( till I damaged some keys - too much detergent/water in cleaning it) so that will form the baseline for comparison.
I'll post an update soon.
update:
The typing experience is not good. As previously stated....

That about sums it up... and I agree 100%.
It looks really good and exciting when first seen.
The experience of using it however, is really poor......
The spacebar is simply not accessible due to the way the thumb gets obstructed by the raised edge.
It's as thought no one tested the keyboard after the first prototype was produced.
or they expected it to be used with a few fingers only.... without resting one's palms.
You'll get tired easily with this, even if you manage to adapt to using it.

A realy perfect Leather Case

from ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270831391457&ssPageNam e=ADME:L:OC:AU:1123
review:
After my first disapointing buy from ebay i bought this "sexy"
synthetic leather case.
Its weight is 290 grams.
Is a very-very slim case and when it closed, the case is tightly fixed on the tablet.
It has 3 deep grooves for standing and the tablet is very stable in these positions.
The philosophy of this case is "to not hiding nothing from the tablet when you use it."
On the back side there is a gentle opening for the camera.
It smells like leather.
The close clip aplly a good force to keep the case closed.
Every button or socket of the tablet is accesible with closed case
And finally i am happy, and this is the most important
Looks good, does it have a typing angle? What is the name?
also are you able to charge the tab without having the case open? i have one such and i need to have my case open each time i charge which is a pain
This is maybe the case I'm looking for. Can you please share the name and the link for the case. Since you can't post links, replace for examples the dots of the url with spaces or some other characters.
Maybe this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320786081962#ht_2592wt_1165
You have to open the case when charging (if I remember right).
I bought this. Premium quality indeed.
EDIT:
cheaper one

I must say the case looks really nice!
I was wondering about the 3 viewing angles though - do they firmly support the Tab? Would hate to buy it and then find out it slips and falls out when I set it up on one of the angles (I saw that happen before...). Also, is it possible to use this case to prop your Tab up when you put it in your lap (in bed or something similar)? Or is it too flimsy?
And do you feel the extra weight when you carry the tab around? I really love how light it is right now, you don't even notice you have it in your bag (with the standard samsung pouch on) and it's really easy to hold it in one hand and typing with the other if you're walking around the house.

The gaps for the 3 viewing angles are deep enough, and yes you can use it in your lap, my wife do it often.

is still light it is just 290 grams more.
but if you want to use it with one hand, i think that the best way is
to hold it in portrait like a book because the total weight is about 850 grams
Well you got me sir, just ordered one myself. Hope it works as well as you described
Will report back once I have it and test it out a bit ^^

Isn't it the same size? If it is, it should fit... can't help you out there though as I have a 7500 one.
The same case, with a new name, posted once again in a new thread. This was $12 on amazon last week.
Really? I sure couldn't find it when I looked (didn't look really hard though)
Doesn't really matter though, if it's a good case I'm more then willing to spend $23 on it. The most basic samsung pouch costs 25€ (about $35) here :S.

Aye, you're right. Wouldn't help me though, since amazon tells me that "there is a slight problem with my order" (they can't ship it to my place for some reason).
Still, good to know a cheaper option might exist for some people, thanks!

For people trying to find one from the UK...
I purchased a look a like case from here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005ECHQ4C
I was struggling to find it as cheap as in the US for example.
The one from the above link, seem to be very good so far. All viewing angles work great, both on a flat surface and on my lap. The typing position is my most used.
'Leather' quality seems good so far. Of course it is going to add some weight, but not really an issue for me. ALL ports/buttons are fully accessible, inc charging when case is closed.
its a great case

Arm Band

Has anyone came across any armbands for GN?
Will SGS2 ones fit our phones?
I tried a Belkin SII armband, didn't fit at all. Too short and struggled to take it out... Will keep looking.
I found this site - http://www.iarmbands.com/Arm-Band-Armband-for-Google-Galaxy-Nexus-CAB-nexus.htm
But sort of looks a little dodge
& there is also this one - http://docteur-gsm.com/en/samsung-galaxy-nexus/9461-Samsung-Galaxy-Nexus-armband.html
I'm also interested in this. Saw a few on ebay.com and Amazon, but I am always a bit wary to buy from these sellers, especially when they claim a GN fit but have an iPhone or the like in the stock image.
I am interested in this as well.

I am looking too...
A problem I see with most Armbands is the position of the headphonejack which is on the bottom on the Galaxy Nexus.
Fitting wise when I checked dimensions of different phones the Desire HD armbands should fit.
Desire HD = 68mm height
Galaxy Nexus = 67.94
So I'm gonna try the Desire HD one from igadgitz.com
It also has the jack on the bottom...

yes plz do!!
I have been speaking with someone at Tune Belt about their products for the GN and I got this response today:
Hi Adam,
I just got back from the Verizon store and this phone fit into AB84 pretty nicely. The AB84 has to stretch a bit to fit the length of the Nexus. There's a bit of extra depth even with AB84 but it is not too bad. AB85 is way too big.
Best regards,
Richard

So I think I will be buying one here shortly and I will let you know my experience. For reference, here is the product link: http://www.tunebelt.com/ab84
nice, thanks for the info!
Might have to try the TuneBelt product...
I got the same reply from Tunebelt, AB84. Said it's at the limits in length, but the headphone jack lines up nicely.
I have a suggested mod for any of the tunebelt products. The attached pics are from their waistband, but will easily work with the others as well. I don't trust velcro, and because the GN is slightly larger than other phones...even more so. I've used this belt for my OG Droid as well as my HTC Thunderbolt, but ain't takin' chances on this gorgeous new phone.
For $2 at Walmart, you can grab a kit of (I think 8) snap buttons. Very easy to install. You can do it right through the velcro, or use a sharp blade and shave the velcro patches right off/out (less to push through). Line up your rivets, etc on each side of the material and just tap with a hammer on a hard surface. Easy peasy.
LOVE it and don't have to worry about velcro coming undone and my phone flying down the street

I have the tunebelt from my Droid X and it fits, but the problem with almost all of these armbands is that the plastic cover never sits flush on the screen. Thus, the issue is that changing tracks or checking the phone is just all the more difficult while running, etc. Belkin made a great armband for the iPhone 3 (sister's) that sits very flush to the screen. I wish they had a SGN version.
Anyway, keeps us posted on iarmbands product. Would love to hear specifically how the clear plastic skin sits against the SGN screen. Thx.
Recently went to best buy and was looking for arm band case and found this:
[I am not allowed to post the link until I have 8 posts according to forum rules, but if you go to bestbuy.c*m and search for "Rocketfish arm band android" It will locate the product for you]
Although a 'generic' case, it actually fits the Galaxy Nexus (Verizon) pretty well (nice and snug) and the headphone jack lines up with the cutout. I also found it relatively easy to navigate the screen while in the case.
Just though this might help anyone looking for arm band case.

iFace Anti-shock Case

What do you guys think?
Here's a link to the shop on ebay: Link.
I'm looking for something a little stylish in design and came across this.
I'm trying to favor Form over the actual function of a case. I'm almost tempted to get this one, but I wanted to see what others had as an opinion on it.
This case looks very similar to the iOttie Macaron case (see here)
If it is similar to that case as in feel and fit for the phone then I will buy this case immediately. I loved my iOttie for my iPhone 5 when I had it.
im really digging this case. might get it when funds arrive lol. anyone wanna buy a cruzer lite case? lol

I got my case in the mail over the weekend. I'll post pictures later.
Overall, it's very nice. The grip feels very good in the hand, and the case itself makes a perfect fit around the phone. The buttons aren't too tight like I've seen on other cases, but they make good enough contact that they work with every press. I'd even go as far as saying that pressing the buttons in the case feel more tactile than pressing the buttons on the phone itself.
My one complaint has to do with the rounded back. Oftentimes when I'm at restaurants or sitting at my desk, I'll set my phone on the table to use it. The rounded back makes the touch screen awkward to use as the case tends to slide the phone around a bit, or spin in place. I'd also gripe that the "iFace" logo is upside down when the phone is in proper landscape mode for camera use. No big deal though.
I got my case in the Android shade Lime-green color, but it comes in many different colors.
Also, Shipping took exactly two weeks for me, but YMMV.

It's not a whole lot to look at, but hopefully it helps. Excuse the orange paint stains on my kitchen counter. It's really bothering me in these pictures.
The back. Ample enough protection for the camera lens.
Spoiler
I really like the rounded contours along the perimeter of the phone. it feels good in the hand. It's got a soft rubbery grip. I actually nearly dropped my phone while taking one of these pictures, luckily for the grip...I managed to catch it in time.
Spoiler
The space for the MicroUSB and 3.5mm jack: Could be a bit tight for some, but works for all of my cords. My largest USB has quite a snug fit.
Spoiler
EDIT:WHELP, spoiler tags don't work like I assumed. Also, If you notice the ruler in the background, I was going to try and get some measurements, but a paper ruler doesnt do me very good when trying to figure out a difference between a couple milimeters. As far as thickness goes, the case doesn't even add a full milimeter. The sides are a bit of a different story, due to the rounded edges.
iFace case is strongly recommended for the Optimus G. It is very good quality with excellent grip.
Here is a link;
iFace first class Optimus G case
I've had a number of....accidental drop tests. This is truly a great case. The rubber bump-edge really does an excellent job protecting from falls. These aren't just little baby falls either, for instance, last night, my poor little phone fell from my hand, about 5 feet onto hard brick flooring. I've yet to acquire a single scratch anywhere on my phone!

[Q] Iphone 6 quality case for the Z3 Compact?

Hey all,
Recently received my Z3 compact and am loving it. The only slight niggle I have is with the case manufacturers, are there any cases similar to that of the official iPhone 6 (many apologies, I am unable to post a link just yet)
I liked the look of some slim cases, for example the terrapin hybrid, however the cut outs on the top left side of these cases leave the phone very exposed (i would much rather it be fully covered, apart from the magnetic charging port) and not structurally sound. I own the case-mate tough and the top left side is weak.
So I am curious if there are any cases out there that offer the quality and look of the iPhone 6 case mentioned above, not to mention the feel too. Whilst I am really happy with the Z3 compact, the 6's design sits in the hand well.
Many thanks guys!

Understandable. But I also have to say, that people do feel differently about stability / product quality etc.
E.g. some people complain, that when you press against 1 corner of this case, you hear some "creaking" noises... and I can confirm that in general. But the point to me is, that in my usage (and I think I can honestly call me a power user) I just don't get to create that sound... so this doesn't matter to me. For me the pros are:
- stable (dropped already a few times.. absolutely no visible damage neither to phone nor case)
- super slim (charging in dock still perfectly possible)
- simple black color (I don't like fancy stuff)
- perfect material... never slipped in my hands even the tinyest bit
i'm using this one

Personally, I have a silver Tab S3 (and a case with a clear back), so I'd prefer an pen loop that is lighter, such as maybe tan or cream colored. The above Etsy store has one, but they're out of stock at the moment. Has anyone else found lighter colored adhesive pen/pencil loops anywhere?
Or has anyone had any experience with any of the above (or other) options that they'd like to share?
Another detail I've not yet looked into is the diameter of the SPen and what the diameter is of the various options listed above (eg, a pen loop with too big of a diameter might not hold the SPen securely).
It's good to see a new discussion thread. I just joined this forum after buying the tablet last week and was disappointed to see every post being from the same guy complaining about some battery drain issue. Thanks for posting.
Thanks @muniz_ri! Hopefully we'll see more activity on this forum as time passes and more people get Tab S3's!

Thought it might be useful to have a thread for posting various options of storing the S-Pen (particularly for storing the S Pen in/on a case). So here's some threads, links, etc. from my initial research. I'd love to hear other people's experiences and ideas as well.

I used the Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 Case, i-Blason [Halo Series][Kickstand] Clear Premium Slim Hybrid Protective Case and Leuchtturm1917 Black Pen Loop and came up with this workaround:

Nice! Thanks for sharing those pics!
I'm curious, how well does the Leuchtturm1917 Black Pen Loop hold/fit the S-Pen? For example, does it feel too loose, too tight, just right? And if your particular setup modifies that fit please mention that (ie, I'm interested in the how this pen loop fits in it's default state).

The loop is unmodified but took some breaking-in. It was initially a very tight fit but broke-in nicely after a couple of days. I would hate to drop the tablet on a hard surface for fear it will not provide much protection. But besides that concern, I like it and have been using this case exclusively for the past week and a half. Having easy access to the S Pen resolved my main objection to this case.
I used a leftover Surface Pro Pen stick on to attach directly to tablet. works great will post pics if interested.

Ye, pics please...
I was also looking for a case that would hold the S pen. I happened to find one. It is sold by Gum Drop Cases. If you google DropTech Clear, you should be able to find it.
Unfortunately, I can't post a direct link.
Cheers
Chris
I'm using DropTech Clear pen case for almost three month. really happy with that

I got my Tab S3 yesterday and they threw in an original Samsung Book Cover. I like it but I have to agree the magnets are not that strong, not hard to keep having to adjust it.
That being said, where do you guys put those pen loops and how thick are they? I'm afraid that attaching one to the back of the tablet will make matter worst when it comes to keeping it secured on the cover.
I store my pen on the original magnetic case, those two magnetic lines are quite strong. Not a perfect solution but not too bad either.

Yes inside a bag I guess it wouldn't hold for long, I carry it this way around home or the office and so far I did't loose it yet.
But for travel i would definetly try your suggestion.

I hold the Pen using the magnets on the back of the tablet... Just like the photo above.
I think it's very cool. And I'm considering buying two pieces of glass film to paste on both sides.
(Sorry I don't know how to post my own photos here directly.

How did you attach the pen loop to the case? Did you cut a slit on the side of the case and just pass the pen loop through it?
Best setup
An old eye glasses case. After my first business trip where I broke the nib I knew I couldn't leave the pen in my laptop backpack without a hard case to keep it in. I also keep the spare nibs in there too.
DIY S-Pen loop
i bought a cheap case and just DIY a loop into the case using some elastic ribbons
