cleantool s-on disable htc apps - HTC Wildfire S

This might help us ease the frustration while we wait for a software s-off...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1367591

sorry man, created new thread, found the tool also by myself, but thanks anyway.

Thank you.
And a bit more clarification: It's taking space from the internal memory but not the ram of the mob, and it can disable sense among other things to free up ram.

Bump.
Added proper file for WFS, see second post.

can we add erom to the main memory ?

hello there
i wonder if we can add those few more erom megabites to the main memory and/or main rom ? (this is off course in case we dont need any of those additional erom sw )
many thanx
It's technically possible if you're deep into the Uni-fu, but as it's currently irreversible the Uni-fu monks have not made a utility publicly available to do it. It would add to your Storage, BTW, not to your operating ram.
uni-fu ?
thank u for the reply , i guess it would b a much better use of those few megabites .... i d really like to give it a try , but .... what is uni-fu
That'd be kung-fu for universals, ie, not something we ordinary mortal users can expect to master easily.
is there any links where mortals can learn to b gods
:?:
You're asking a very difficult thing, and dangerous.
I unlocked my Ext_ROM and cleared it, then it would show up in the install list.
I have in there at the moment about 9.5MB of installed programs, so whether it is merged with main storage or not, it is being used.
I'm sure when Buzz has a tool that works for repartitioning the DoC without possibly wiping it and properly bricking, he will let us know.
Right now I'm quite happy that his energies seem to be directed towards the SIMlock =)

Smallest available ROM

Hey guys,
Can anyone point me towards a really lightweight ROM.
I'm looking for one around 25Mb?
Anything out there?
Cheers,
Stuart
(Newbie)
Do you refer to free RAM after flashing or ruu file?
It would be the smallest RUU file - preferably in English, as I have a spanish one on at the moment.
Cheers,
Stuart
I don't believe a 25MB RUU will make the phone run. There would be too much missing, and I've heard the phone will not even boot without at least 30-40MB RUU. I've created a few 40MB Versions, and I'm sure others have too.

3 newbie questions

hi guys...i'm a newbie at flashing rom and I was wondering if someone can give me somehelp with these questions:
1. what's the best rom...i refer to speed, signal strainght and a bit of futures..
2. I've seen this rom "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400452" that sais "45mb total storage memory/ 25mb free program memory"...what does that mean, wich memory it refers to??I ask this because when I look into my Artemis under settings\device info\hardware it sais flash size: 128mb, but storage size:37.63mb..
3. what's the difference between flash mem and storage mem??
thank you in advance to everyone who answers

Right ...
As I have said on other threads this is down to personal preference. If you are looking for a fast wm6.5 you probably want to look at Shadys Rom. Not sure about 6.1 but there are plenty of lite roms out there to try. Signal strength is determined by the Radio Rom this is separate to the Phone Rom. There is a thread floating about already but in short it varies from person to person.
If you go to start -> settings -> system -> memory (under the main tab) you will see some numbers. Essentially most people are bothered about the program free memory as it allows you to run more/more demanding apps.
I think (I am sure someone will correct me) the flash size of your memory card and the storage is how much is free?
Hope that helps
hi a_lai82..thank you for the answers, really thank you...
the thing about those memory questions is that I didn't have any memory card in the phone at that time, so all that it showed me is what's in the phone, that's why I wanted a clarification...

Running out of space?

Dear all,
I just got the "Desire" & I found that I am pretty much easy to get it "out of space".
For example if I want to install a prog / game which the "apk" is 12MB, I would need to have about 40MB free spaces in order to install it. Otherwise, it just keep asking me to uninstall something firstly...
Anything I could do about that? Please kindly advise.
Thank you!

one X memory

Hi Guys
One question... I know the phone has 32 gb of storage memory... Are there any roms that join that up to the system memory?
I remember when i had a desire i was able to install a type of apps to sd thing that behaved like it was all one memory bank... Has that been done on here?
I am looking!
But any pokes in the right direction would be very much appreciated
Kind Regards
Dan
